Chen Yang followed closely behind Qin Qiu in the business van.
At that mont, he was holding a phone. "Yang Hu, take so n to Qin Dongshan and Qin Xuejun's house. If they still have no intention of nding their ways, you can teach them a little lesson."
"Also, how's the investigation into my father-in-law's car accident coming along?"
After hearing Yang Hu's response, Chen Yang nodded. "Since you already have a few leads, speed things up. My wife can't wait much longer."
Hanging up, Chen Yang looked at the Ferrari ahead of him, a faint smile touching his lips. Honey, don't you worry. Everything is under my control.
Due to his status, many things couldn't be handled openly. So matters had to be dealt with from the shadows. If he were to openly step up and support the Qin Corporation, it would throw everything into chaos. Although this approach would take more ti, it was the safest.
Soon, the two cars arrived at Book Mountain Court, one after the other.
From a distance, Chen Yang saw his mother-in-law, Luo Sulan, laughing and chatting with a young man in black casual wear. He had handso features and an extraordinary bearing. A few n in suits stood nearby, likely the young man's bodyguards.

When the Ferrari appeared, both Luo Sulan and the young man revealed looks of surprise. Since the Qin Family's decline, when had such a magnificent car ever pulled up to their door? Upon seeing Qin Qiu get out of the car, their surprise morphed into pure shock. They could hardly believe their eyes.
Could so young master from Lingjin City have bought it for her? The thought surfaced in both of their minds simultaneously.
A flicker of delight crossed Luo Sulan's face, while the young man's expression darkened slightly.
"Han Rui?" Seeing the young man, Qin Qiu's brows furrowed tightly. "Why are you here?"
Han Rui's family was in the real estate business and was worth several hundred million. He had pursued Qin Qiu a couple of years ago, but he was a notorious playboy, which had earned him a firm rejection.
"Auntie said she was bored being ho alone, and I happened to be free, so I ca over to visit," Han Rui said, flashing a warm, gentlemanly smile. The earlier trace of displeasure on his face had completely vanished.
"Mom!" Qin Qiu exclaid in exasperation. She knew exactly what Luo Sulan was planning.
Just then, Chen Yang walked over.
"Hmph!" Luo Sulan snorted coldly, making no effort to hide her disdain. "Han Rui has always been devoted to you, and he doesn't even mind that you're married to soone else. A man that good is one in a million!"
With that, she pointed at Chen Yang. "He's a thousand tis better than this good-for-nothing!"
"Mom, I'm already married. Don't you think you're going too far?" Qin Qiu said, irritated.
"Can't you get a divorce?" Luo Sulan roared. "I don't care how much that old man insists, this marriage is over! You're my daughter, so your marriage is my decision!"
"Auntie, please don't be angry. Let's talk about this calmly," Han Rui said, first placating Luo Sulan before turning to Chen Yang. "You must be the infamous... Chen Yang, right? I've heard so much about you!"
Han Rui paused deliberately but refrained from saying the word "good-for-nothing" out loud. He leaned in close to Chen Yang and whispered, "Kid, be smart. Leave the Qin family, and leave Qin Qiu. Otherwise, when I make my move, it'll be too late for you to regret it. Oh, and I'm only giving you one day. I'll be back tomorrow. If I still see you here, you won't be able to bear the consequences!"
He then straightened up, turned to the others, and burst out laughing. "This guy is sothing else! Can you believe he just threatened ? He told to get lost and claid Qin Qiu was his personal property! Ha ha!"
Chen Yang was left speechless. Over the years, he had fought on countless fronts and t all sorts of people, but this was the first ti he had ever encountered soone so utterly two-faced and hypocritical.
Interesting. Chen Yang simply smiled without saying a word.
"Threaten Han Rui?" Luo Sulan stord over to Chen Yang, fuming, and jabbed a finger at his nose. "Why don't you take a good look at yourself! Han Rui is a talented young man from a family worth hundreds of millions! And you? You still depend on my Qin family for every al!"
"Why doesn't a good-for-nothing like you just go and die? Your very existence pollutes the air!" Luo Sulan's spittle flew as she spoke, her teeth clenched with such fury that she looked like she wanted to tear Chen Yang limb from limb.
Qin Qiu shot Chen Yang a fierce glare. This guy... he actually considers his personal property?
Chen Yang didn't explain, mainly because he couldn't be bothered. He just smiled and said, "Let's not always bring family into it. I wonder, what has this Mr. Han accomplished on his own?"
"And what have you accomplished?" Han Rui retorted, folding his arms. "From what I hear, all you do is potter around at ho, making als."
"Can you do that?" Chen Yang asked.
Han Rui was rendered speechless. He certainly couldn't. With three maids at ho to wait on him, why would a young master like him ever need to step into a kitchen?
"Besides, I'm proud to cook for my wife every day," Chen Yang said with a proud grin. "By the way, do you have a wife?"
Again, Han Rui was speechless.
"You don't even have a wife. What makes you think you're qualified to talk to ?" Chen Yang continued.
Han Rui had no reply.
Standing to the side, Qin Qiu felt her head throb. Is this guy out of his mind?
SCREECH!
Suddenly, the sharp sound of a car braking ca from outside the villa, followed by slamming doors and the chaotic sound of running footsteps.
Hmm? Chen Yang turned his head.
A group of seven or eight n, their faces fierce and nacing, strode into the yard carrying clubs.
"We only want Qin Qiu! Everyone else, get the hell out of the way!" the leader, a burly middle-aged man, bellowed. He had a terrifying scar across his bald head, like a giant centipede, and he grinned to reveal a set of rotten yellow teeth.
"Who are you?" Han Rui demanded condescendingly, showing no fear. His bodyguards imdiately moved to protect him, staring coldly at the intruders.
Chen Yang, however, looked past them toward the villa, his eyes narrowing as a sharp glint flashed within them.
"Us?" The scarred man propped a foot on a chair and said with a sinister sneer, "We're the little devils who work for King Yama, and we're here to claim lives! Now, if you don't want to die, get lost! We only want Qin Qiu!"
As his gaze fell upon Qin Qiu, a greedy desire erged on his grotesque face, and he practically started drooling.
Without another word, Chen Yang burst forward in a single, swift motion, sprinting straight for the villa.
Everyone on the scene was montarily dumbfounded. He's so fast...
