After the initial shock, scattered murmurs began to fill the hall.

The statent was domineering and utterly unreasonable. But to many in the crowd, the words rang true. After all, he was from the Qi Family, the second-ranked of the eight great families.
"I'm curious, what are you to the Qin Family? And where do you get the nerve to run wild on my Qi Family's territory?" Qi Hao asked, a malicious grin playing on his lips.
"I know who he is!" a loud voice suddenly yelled from the crowd. "He's that worthless, freeloading son-in-law who married into the Qin Family! I think his na is Chen Yang!"
A wave of understanding passed through the guests, followed imdiately by jeers and looks of schadenfreude.
"So, it's that piece of trash." Qi Hao had heard the rumors, of course. He scoffed, "A parasite like you? I could crush you with a single finger. Do you doubt ?"
"Co, then. Let's see if this coffin fits you."
Chen Yang's eyes narrowed slightly. He swept his left hand toward a nearby table, and an untouched silver dinner fork shot out.

Qi Hao, who was in the middle of mocking Chen Yang, froze. A spray of blood erupted from his forehead as the fork shot clean through the back of his skull.
Qi Hao's body went rigid. His pupils lost their focus, and he crashed to the floor.
It all happened so fast that the crowd only began to snap out of their shock as a pool of blood spread across the floor.

Everyone in the hall stood frozen, utterly stupefied.
Then, Chen Yang grabbed Qi Hao's pant leg and began dragging the body toward the coffin.
