Two comrcial vans, one following the other, drove along the central avenue of Qiyun Road.
In the lead van, Yang Hu was driving with Chen Yang in the passenger seat. Qin Qiu, Qin Mo, Luo Sulan, and Qin Gang were seated in the back. The vehicle behind them was filled with n Yang Hu had borrowed from the Qiyun Road sub-district.
With their combined strength, rescuing a few people from the Qin Royal Family wasn't a difficult task. By the ti the Qin Family realized what was happening, they had already been gone for so ti.

Yang Hu glanced at her in the rearview mirror and retorted sarcastically, "It sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. Did you even notice how much Qin Qiu and Qin Mo were suffering?"
"I... I..." Luo Sulan's eyes darted away before she said with conviction, "The Qin Family ant no harm! They just wanted to find good households for Qin Qiu and Qin Mo. That's a dream co true for most people! For them to keep causing trouble over it... to be blunt, it's just plain ungrateful."
Chen Yang's brow furrowed slightly.
"Are you even speaking like a human being?" Yang Hu sneered.
"Who are you calling nas?" Luo Sulan flared up, planting her hands on her hips. "You're the ungrateful ones! A re Sixth Grade Military General thinks he can challenge the Qin Royal Family? If you're tired of living, don't drag us down with you!"
"Besides," Luo Sulan shot a look at Chen Yang, "the marriage certificate between you and Qin Qiu has already been canceled. There's no relationship between you two anymore. To put it plainly, you're just ddling in other people's business."
Chen Yang frowned upon hearing the word "canceled."
Qin Qiu quickly explained, "It was Qin Lie! But it doesn't matter. We can just go and register again later!"

"What's wrong with ? I'm doing this for your own good!" Luo Sulan said righteously, without a hint of a blush. "A good horse needs a good saddle. Why should you sell yourself short?"
"Stop the car!" Luo Sulan yelled at Yang Hu.
"Shut your mouth!" Qin Gang finally roared. "I haven't even settled the score with you for how you mistreated Chen Yang in Lingjin City, and now you're starting this nonsense again. Do you really think I won't teach you a lesson? Furthermore, do you really believe the Qin Royal Family genuinely cared about you? If it weren't for using you to control Xiaoqiu, you'd be worth less than a dog in their eyes. What a piece of work!"
No one understood the Qin Royal Family better than Qin Gang. Luo Sulan's behavior was truly despicable.
"Hmph," Luo Sulan scoffed, her lip curling in disdain. "Just because you're not welco doesn't an others aren't."
"Xiaoqiu, Xiaomo, get out of the van with ," she said, grabbing Qin Qiu's arm and shouting at Yang Hu again. "I said stop the car!"
Yang Hu was furious. He had truly never seen soone so shaless in his life. Then, he glanced in the rearview mirror. Are we being followed?
"Yang Hu, stop the car," Chen Yang said.
"Okay!"
Yang Hu slowed down and pulled over to the side of the road. The van following them also pulled over.
As soon as their vehicle ca to a complete stop, Luo Sulan tugged on Qin Qiu and Qin Mo. "Co on, get out with ."
"I'm not going!" Qin Mo retorted, shaking off her mother's hand.
Seeing that Qin Qiu wasn't moving either, Luo Sulan's face darkened. "You two..."
"Get out," Chen Yang said, glancing at her.
Luo Sulan was speechless. Is he telling to get out by myself?
"Since the Qin Royal Family offers the life you desire, why aren't you hurrying over?" Yang Hu asked, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Hmph!" Unable to contain her rage, Luo Sulan threw open the door and climbed out. "Ungrateful fools! Do you really think you can escape the grasp of the Qin Royal Family? How ignorant!"
At the sa ti, the trailing van pulled up alongside them. Before it even ca to a complete stop, a group of n jumped out.
"You must be from the Qin Royal Family, right? I'm Luo Sulan. Take back," she said. "My two daughters are in that van. Be careful not to hurt them."
"Get lost!"
The middle-aged man in the lead shoved her aside. Luo Sulan staggered a few steps and fell flat on her face.
"You... how dare you be so rude to ?" Luo Sulan's lip was split and bleeding. She clutched her mouth with one hand and pointed at them with the other. "Do you have any idea who I am? You've got so nerve!"
"We were polite to you for a few days, and you really started to think you were the boss?" the middle-aged man sneered. "Were you really too stupid to realize we were just faking it? We were only using you to keep Qin Qiu in line. In our eyes, you're not even as good as a dog! And you dare to order us around, thinking you're sothing special? You moron!"
Luo Sulan was stunned into silence.
The sudden shift in the Qin Family's attitude felt like being plunged into an ice cavern, while her face burned with humiliation. The jarring reversal left her completely at a loss.
"I... I'm Qin Qiu's mother..." Luo Sulan said, unwilling to accept it. She took a step forward to explain who she was. What if they've got the wrong person?

The middle-aged man slapped her so hard that her head crashed into the side of the comrcial van.
The man spat viciously and pointed at Qin Qiu and Qin Mo in the van. "Get out!"
However, the van's electric door began to slide shut as the engine roared to life.
"Drive," Chen Yang said.
The middle-aged man was left speechless.
