"A re Zhennan Prince is beneath your notice?"
The gray-robed elder walked into the rain shelter, closed his umbrella, and set it aside. With his hands clasped behind his back, he continued, "Honestly, you aren't even qualified to carry his shoes."
"Where did this old fossil co from, barging into the Liu Family's territory and causing a scene?" Liu Cheng, who was always arrogant and domineering, imdiately exploded. He stepped forward and pointed at the elder, shouting, "Get out!"
The elder, Wu Xing, simply opened his right hand and made a sudden grasping motion.
With that single gesture, Liu Cheng was lifted into the air. His face instantly turned a purplish hue as his legs kicked wildly.
This sudden turn of events stunned the mbers of the Liu Family. By the ti they recovered their wits, the previously boastful Liu Cheng was on the verge of death, his face a ghastly dark purple.
"Forget the Liu Family. Even the four great imperial clans wouldn't dare be so presumptuous before ," Wu Xing stated coolly.
CRACK.
The sound of shattering bone resonated sharply. Liu Cheng's eyes bulged, his head flopped to one side, and he collapsed to the ground like a sack of mud, motionless.
He's dead, just like that?
At once, every mber of the Liu Family felt their hearts tremble, their eyes fixed on Wu Xing in utter disbelief.
As if he had just done sothing utterly trivial, Wu Xing placed his hands behind his back again. His gaze fell upon Liu Chuang. "Boasting beyond your ans is nothing but rampant ignorance. Compared to the Zhennan Prince, you are nothing."
As the Second Elder of the Elders' Court, his aura was staggeringly powerful. He simply squinted and stared at Liu Chuang.
A chill washed over Liu Chuang, making his scalp tingle. His face turned as white as a sheet of paper. He had the distinct feeling that this old man could kill him with nothing more than a look; he wouldn't even need to lift a finger.
"Tell , what great achievents have you accomplished that give you the audacity to disregard the Zhennan Prince and claim that no one in your generation is worthy of being compared to you?" Wu Xing's tone was indifferent as he added quietly, "Convince , and I might spare your life."
Liu Chuang: "..."
The crowd: "..."
Where did this volatile old man co from? What is this place?! To kill a man so openly and unscrupulously, right here in the Liu Family's estate, and then to threaten another... Does he have any regard for us at all?!
"You're courting death!"
As the Family Head, Liu Bingtian smashed his hand on the table and shot to his feet. His aura surged, dispelling any hint of old-age frailty. Surrounded by an intense presence, his white hair flew out in all directions like the mane of a wrathful lion. "Open your damned eyes and see where you are! How dare you run wild here?"
"For now, shut your mouth and stay put. Your grandson has yet to answer my question."
Wu Xing waved his wide sleeve casually. An explosive burst of aura slamd into the imposing Liu Bingtian, sending him staggering back several steps with blood leaking from the corners of his mouth.
SPURT...
A mouthful of blood sprayed from his lips. Liu Bingtian's expression changed drastically as he took a final, staggering step. The floor beneath him cracked, the fissures spreading out in all directions. If not for his desperate effort to remain upright, he would have already collapsed.
Before the dust could even settle...
BOOM!
Liu Bingtian could no longer support himself. His body crumpled, and he crashed to his knees. Where his knees struck the ground, the cracks spread like a spider's web.
In an instant, the area fell into a dead silence.
Just a single flick of a sleeve, and Liu Bingtian was utterly powerless to resist. Not only was he severely injured, but he was forced to his knees.
Liu Bingtian: "..."
His hands pressed hard against the floor as blood mixed with cold sweat dripped from his face, a wretched and shocking sight.
Seeing his grandfather, the undisputed number one expert of the Liu Family, in such a sorry state—like a beaten dog with an ashen face—Liu Chuang's fingers trembled violently. How could his grandfather be so utterly defeated?
"Speak of your illustrious achievents. I want to see if you truly have the right to disregard the Zhennan Prince," Wu Xing said, his gaze returning to Liu Chuang, continuing the interrogation.
Liu Chuang: "..."
What illustrious achievents? Those were just words spoken in the privacy of my own ho. Who could have ever expected that such a volatile old man would barge in? And he knows I was just bragging, yet he keeps pressing ! Damn it all!
The surrounding mbers of the Liu Family watched with horror and trepidation. No one dared to make a move. They could only stare at Wu Xing, trembling. This man had clearly co because of *that* person. They had thought they could use that person as a stepping stone, but it seed they had bitten off more than they could chew.
The Liu Family is in grave danger.
"Speak! Do you have any or not!" Wu Xing demanded coldly.
Everyone flinched, frozen in place as if turned to stone. The courtyard, just monts ago filled with lively chatter and laughter, was now utterly silent, save for the sound of the torrential downpour outside the shelter.
"I... I..." Liu Chuang knew he couldn't escape this. His lips trembled and his face was deathly pale as he fell to his knees. "Great... Great One, I'm sorry!" he begged. "I was spouting nonsense! I was arrogant and conceited! Please, I beg you, spare ."
The heir to the Liu Family, their most outstanding youth, was now kneeling on the ground like a dog. He could never have imagined, even in his wildest dreams, that a few boastful words would provoke such a terrifying figure.
But most importantly, did this man really co because of *him*? Everyone knows that man has already stepped down and was treated unfairly. How could such a powerful figure still be standing up for him? As this belated realization dawned on the younger Liu Family mbers, a chill shot through their bones.
"I ask, you answer. Why are you apologizing?" Wu Xing looked down at Liu Chuang by his feet, a sneer on his face.
Liu Chuang shook his head frantically. "I... I have none. The Zhennan Prince's military exploits are legendary. How could I possibly compare myself to him?"
"If that's the case, what right do you have to mock him?"
BANG!
A palm struck down. Liu Chuang's body ruptured, and blood flowed endlessly. His face was a mask of horror as he raised a hand, trying to say sothing more, but blood gushed from his mouth, choking any words.
CRACK, CRACK...
As everyone watched, the fissures on Liu Chuang's body widened until, in the blink of an eye, he was torn to pieces. A thick pool of blood spread across the ground.
Everyone began to gasp for air, their entire bodies taut with tension. Even Liu Bingtian, a man who had seen many storms, stared with vacant eyes, his lips turning purple. His most beloved, most exceptional grandson... killed with a single palm strike, just like that?
Wu Xing raised his head, his icy gaze sweeping over the few others who had spoken ill of Chen Yang earlier.
"No, it has nothing to do with !"
"I... I was just talking casually!"
Those who had been so arrogant just monts before were now trembling. With a series of thuds, they all dropped to their knees.
"Nothing to do with you?" Wu Xing smiled and shook his head, then waved his palm.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
One after another, they exploded where they knelt, leaving behind nothing but a diffusing mist of thick blood.
"You... you've gone too far!" Liu Bingtian roared, his eyes blazing with fury. "Do you truly think the Liu Family has no one to protect it?"
Wu Xing said nothing, simply standing there. Clad in his gray robe with his hands behind his back, his stern aura was the very picture of a supre authority.
"Ancestor!"
Following Liu Bingtian's roar, a faint, ethereal voice suddenly echoed through the air. "Junior, you are being far too brazen."
