Chen Yang walked toward the Lounge Bar while dialing Li Hongming's number.
Although he had prepared for the worst, what if Qin Mo had just been playing and forgot the ti? Courtesy before force was Chen Yang's consistent approach.
The call connected quickly. "I'm Qin Mo's brother-in-law, here to take her ho. Can you..."
"Who are you? Wrong number!" an angry voice shot back, followed by the dial tone.
It seems I was being too optimistic. Chen Yang shrugged helplessly and walked into the Lounge Bar.
「Inside the Lounge Bar.」
Li Hongming, who was helping Qin Mo upstairs, angrily stuffed his phone into his pocket. How did that loser get my number? The thought was fleeting, and he didn't take it to heart. He's just a well-known loser who married into his wife's family to live off them. A trashy character like that is unworthy of a second thought.
"Young Master Li, have you run into so trouble?"
"Young Master Li, just let us know if you need help."
Li Hongming's sudden shout had caused many custors in the lounge bar to stand up and offer their support. Many were his associates, while others were off-duty employees from a security company, here to unwind.
"Thank you, everyone, but it's just so loser. No need to worry about it!" Li Hongming waved his hand dismissively and headed for the second floor.
At that mont, Li Hongming's phone rang again. Seeing the sa number, he beca furious. Is this damned loser haunting ?
However, before he could answer, a voice from behind questioned him, "Are you Li Hongming?"
Li Hongming turned and was montarily stunned when he saw the newcor. How did he find his way here? I only just arrived!
The newcor was, of course, Chen Yang.
Upon seeing Qin Mo, drowsy and flushed, being supported by Li Hongming on her way upstairs, his expression darkened instantly.
Clearly, it's not a matter of overthinking things; there are just too many bad people in the world.
Seeing Chen Yang, Fan Xiaoxian gathered a sudden burst of strength, broke free from the hand covering her mouth, and shouted, "Chen, Chen Yang? Quick, save Xiaomo! She's been drugged by this bastard!"
"Shut up, you bitch!" The young man who had been driving earlier pointed at Fan Xiaoxian, glaring fiercely, as if he wanted to eat her alive.
Chen Yang's eyes darkened. "Don't worry. You'll all be safe with here."
"What's this? The well-known loser Chen Yang has decided to play hero here today?" Far from being afraid, Li Hongming scoffed. "Get off my turf now, or I'll beat you to a pulp!"
At his words, the n who had spoken up earlier all stood and glared nacingly at Chen Yang.
The atmosphere in the room tensed, and many of the other custors shrank back in fear.
Chen Yang paid them no mind and walked straight toward Li Hongming.
Li Hongming laughed and waved his hand nonchalantly. "Throw him out!"
The n who had stood up lunged toward Chen Yang.
WHOOSH!
Chen Yang's figure blurred. After a few quick sidekicks, the n were sent rolling back to where they started.
"This..."
Li Hongming's pupils contracted in shock. He stumbled back, stamring, "You… you dare attack soone on my turf?"
BANG!
In a flash, Chen Yang's fist smashed into his face. His nose shattered, and his cheek caved in.
Everyone was speechless. That was too violent! His entire nose is flattened against his face. How much force did that take?
BOOM!
Another punch sent Li Hongming flying back several ters before he landed hard on his butt.
Instantly, everyone present was dumbfounded.
The young driver, in particular, felt a chill shoot through him. His limbs went rigid, and he scrambled backward, no longer daring to hold onto Fan Xiaoxian.
Chen Yang caught the collapsing Qin Mo, a wave of heat radiating from her body.
After checking her and confirming she wasn't in serious danger, Chen Yang waved to Fan Xiaoxian. "Co and watch her! Try to make her drink so water!"
"Okay, okay, okay!" Stunned by Chen Yang's agility, Fan Xiaoxian gaped for a few seconds before nodding and hurrying over.
After taking Qin Mo, she couldn't help but glance at Chen Yang from ti to ti. Is this really the sa Chen Yang, the useless freeloader?
"Drugged? What kind of drug?" Chen Yang hauled Li Hongming to his feet and found a small blue bottle full of pills in his pocket. "Is this it?"
Li Hongming glared venomously at Chen Yang. "You damn loser, you better let go right now, or else..."
Chen Yang shook his head, emptied all the pills from the bottle, and shoved them into Li Hongming's mouth. "You've never had these, have you? Now you can eat your fill!"
Li Hongming struggled, his eyes bulging with rage.
The bystanders were terrified. He's making him eat so many at once... Won't that kill him?
Once every pill was down Li Hongming's throat, Chen Yang released his grip, letting him fall to the floor.
Li Hongming desperately clawed at his throat, retching violently, but nothing ca out.
Chen Yang kicked him to the ground and sneered, "Don't spit them out. It would be a sha to waste them."
"You're dead at when my dad gets here with his n!" Li Hongming roared, glaring at Chen Yang with pure hatred.
"Is that so?" Chen Yang smiled. "Call your dad. If he isn't here in ten minutes, tell him to prepare to collect your corpse."
Li Hongming was left speechless.
SNAP!
Chen Yang snapped his fingers toward the bar. "Waiter, bring a glass of orange juice with ice!"
The crowd was silent. Isn't he way too arrogant?
Li Hongming struggled to get up, only for a foot to press down hard on his face. "Stay down and don't move."
"You loser, do you have any idea what you're doing?" Li Hongming choked out, his voice muffled.
"If I'm a loser, then what are you?" Chen Yang said, taking a seat. "Besides, can't you tell I'm stepping on a piece of shit?"
Li Hongming fell silent.
"Isn't this going too far?"
"Young Master Li is a man of status! When has he ever been humiliated like this?"
Those who had been fawning over Li Hongming earlier now cowered in the background. Aside from a few whispers, no one dared to step forward.
A waiter tremblingly placed a glass of orange juice on the table in front of Chen Yang.
Chen Yang nodded politely. "Thank you."
"Do you know who I am? If you let go now, there might still be room for negotiation!" Li Hongming clenched his teeth and bellowed.
He was the eldest son of the esteed Li Family, pampered and revered. Everyone he t addressed him as Young Master Li.
But now... he was being stepped on like dirt.
Chen Yang picked up the orange juice and took a gentle sip, savoring the taste. As for Li Hongming's threats, he acted as if he hadn't heard a single word.
Li Hongming's rage burned. "Go on, keep pretending! When my dad gets here with his n, I'll make you wish you were dead!"
"Isn't that who I'm waiting for?"
Li Hongming was rendered speechless once again.
