The morning breeze was gentle, whispering through the air.
In recent tis, Cangyun City could be called a nexus of unprecedented, major events. It began with the Forr Chief Military Commander's decisive battle that settled the nation's fate. Then, Luo Yunhai was stripped of his position as the Great Elder, replaced by the Falcon Master, a man in his early thirties. Following this, the Falcon Master took a hardline stance and began making arrests. One incident followed another.
Outsiders thought things would have settled down by now, but then today, news broke that the Forr Chief Military Commander had barged into the Discipline Court, forcefully taken Ning Kun away, and killed one of its senior officials.
The whole nation was in shock.
While many fell silent, so aristocratic families burst into outright celebration. One by one, they stepped forward to accuse Chen Yang of lawlessness and disrespect for order, declaring that he deserved to be executed. Among them, the prestigious Wang Family was particularly vehent.
A young scion from the Wang Family's third generation loudly clamored that Chen Yang was arrogant about his achievents and must step forward to give a satisfactory explanation.
"The Wang Family's scion, Wang Teng? Why is this the first I'm hearing of him?"

Does this little fellow really think he's a knight-errant?
The young man felt the peculiar stares and his face instantly flushed to the roots of his ears.
Master said that entering the mortal world is like journeying through the martial world, and a donkey and a sword are standard equipnt. But why do I feel like I've been duped?
The young man scratched his head. Perhaps unable to bear the gazes any longer, he hopped off the donkey's back and started leading the newly bought animal forward by its reins.

A burst of silvery laughter ca from nearby. "Boy, you have a donkey but you're not riding it. Are you stupid?"
"Say, from the looks of it, are you a Fist Master too?"
The young man's face turned even redder. "I am," he said shyly. "And my master said I'm already a master."
"Oh?" Three girls walking together ca over. One of them, dressed in a red gown, covered her mouth as she smiled. "How much of a master are you?"
"Uhm…" The young man thought for a mont, then held up his hands to indicate a height. "About *this* much of a master."
"Haha, this silly boy is so adorable."
"That's hilarious..."
The young man lowered his head slightly and murmured, "That's what my master told ."
"My, why are you so innocent?" The girl in the red dress walked closer. After looking him over, a smile touched her lips. "You didn't just co down from the deep mountains, did you?"
"You can tell?" The young man looked surprised, then gave a sheepish smile. "I've co down the mountain before, but this is the first ti I've been alone."
"Want so water?" The girl in the red dress, drawn to the young man's ethereal eyes, moved closer and offered him a bottle of water.
"My master said I shouldn't…"
The girl in the red dress simply pushed the bottle into his hands. "If I'm giving it to you, just take it."
"Have you guys heard?" one of the red-gowned girl's companions suddenly said. "Master Wang Teng has returned from Yuning Mountain after finishing his training. He's going to challenge the Forr Chief Military Commander, Chen Yang, and even boasted he could cripple him *after* spotting him three moves!"
"He's arrogant!" the young man suddenly roared in fury.
"What are you doing? You scared !"
"How can just anyone trample on my big brother Chen Yang? 'Spot him three moves?' I'd like to see if this guy really has three heads and six arms to be so arrogant!"
Everyone stared, stunned. What was wrong with this boy? A mont ago he was too shy to even look them in the eye, and now he was suddenly so aggressive?
"Miss, do you know how to get to the Wang Family's residence?" the young man asked.
The girl in the red dress answered subconsciously.
"Thank you." The young man clasped his fists in a bow, then thrust the donkey's reins into her hands. "This donkey is a gift to you, miss."
The girl in the red dress was speechless.
CLANG.
With a sharp ring, a sword was drawn. There is a sword, nad 'Three Purities', which splits into three upon being unsheathed.
"Miss, my na is Qin Hao, from the Lingxiao Observatory! Chen Yang is my big brother, and also half a master to ! We'll et again if fate allows!"
Qin Hao departed with the Longsword on his back, his figure like a rainbow piercing the sun.
He left the girls gaping in shock.
Is this silly boy really a master?
The girl in the red dress, Xiaofeng, led the donkey, dazed and feeling a slight sense of loss. Though he seed goofy, he was undeniably likable. In fact, she had wanted to tell him that the Wang Family was a top-tier noble clan that had produced powerful figures. They were not to be trifled with. He would be better off not going.
"Qin Hao?" she muttered to herself, etching the na into her mory.
But when she glanced at the donkey beside her, she couldn't help but cover her mouth and stifle a laugh.
What am I supposed to do with this?
A round of drinks served as a farewell for Ning Kun. He would return to his small village and live out the life he had once planned for himself.
"Boss, Luo Yunhai has left the Extre Sea Villa. His whereabouts are unknown," Yang Hu said, passing a cigarette to Chen Yang. "But I found out one of his grandsons is at a hotel. We might be able to find out where Luo Yunhai went from him."
Now that he was a commoner and his old military comrades had been removed from their core positions in the latest purge, it was no longer possible for him to investigate things as easily as before.
"Let's go."
Chen Yang beckoned, but stopped abruptly just before getting into the car. He turned. "Make a list of everyone who profited from the national war only to turn around and bite the hand that fed them."
Yang Hu let out a sharp breath, a fierce grin spreading across his face. "You got it, Boss!"
