Fang Bai was treating Xiu’er in the ergency room while the relatives of the Ye and Hong families waited anxiously in the corridor.

Ye Qian’s eyes widened as she looked at Fang Bai and asked with a trembling voice.
Although she didn’t quite believe her daughter could be cured, she still clung to a sliver of hope.
“Go in and see for yourselves!
But don’t talk for too long.
Xiu’er has just woken up and is very weak, she needs a lot of rest!”
Facing the questioning gazes in the corridor, Fang Bai was unconcerned.

Having thought that his daughter might have to leave this world prematurely, now here she was, alive and well before his eyes.
The imnse, unexpected joy of regaining what was lost moved this tough military man to tears.
