Yes, Fu Qingping's sword wasn't drawn yet; it was just the scabbard that he could catch with his hands. But if Fu Qingping unsheathed the longsword and thrust it forward, it would be the sword and not the scabbard coming at him. Could he still block that strike?

Undoubtedly, if Fu Qingping had drawn the Qingping Sword, Sky-Killing Master would likely have beco a dead Sky-Killing Master long ago.
While Sky-Killing Master was getting beaten back by Fu Qingping in successive defeats, the situation of his other three brothers was not much better. Among them, Executioner Scholar's situation was the best; his strength was, after all, the strongest, managing to fight to a standstill with Bloody Monk.
This battle left Executioner Scholar very unsatisfied. When they ca down the mountain this ti, they completely underestimated the younger generation and thus behaved so arrogantly. He never expected that Bloody Monk, this junior, could match him evenly, strength for strength. They fought for such a long ti, and Executioner Scholar didn't gain any advantage but almost suffered a loss because he was previously looking after Sky-Killing Master. This made him even more shocked at Bloody Monk's strength.
As for Snake Gentleman, he initially managed to hold his ground against Helian Tiehua by relying on his venomous snakes. Bloody Monk nodded. He had been on guard for a while now; there was no reason for those two to get closer for no reason. As they converged, they surely planned to pull off so trick.
However, after Executioner Scholar and Slaughter Venerable ca together, they didn't make any special moves, and continued battling against the two. This persisted for about five minutes, then Executioner Scholar suddenly gathered his energy and launched a full-force palm strike toward Bloody Monk.
Bloody Monk had been prepared and, seeing Executioner Scholar unleash his full strength, retreated imdiately without saying a word. Wolf Monk had been waiting too; upon seeing Bloody Monk retreat, he followed suit to guard against any tricks these two might pull.
But just as they retreated, Executioner Scholar suddenly turned and, along with Slaughter Venerable, charged towards Helian Tiehua and Fu Qingping.
Upon seeing the situation, the Bloody Monk was enraged. Just a mont ago, he thought these two were up to sothing, and now he finally understood that these two were deliberately trying to intimidate them. The two walked together, not really doing anything, but applying psychological pressure before pretending to attack with full force, forcing them back. This way, they could escape to rescue the other two.
"Where do you think you're going!" the Bloody Monk shouted, disregarding the distance between him and the Executioner Scholar. In a split second, he dashed over, raising his hand to strike at the Executioner Scholar's back.
The Executioner Scholar completely ignored the Bloody Monk. He charged with full force towards Helian Tiehua, attacking his back.
Helian Tiehua sensed sothing wrong and saw the Executioner Scholar rushing towards him. He dared not be careless and quickly turned to the side to dodge. The Executioner Scholar did not pursue him further, forcing him back before quickly rushing over to pull the Snake Gentleman away several steps.
On the other side, the Slaughter Venerable did the sa as the Executioner Scholar, attacking Fu Qingping in an attempt to rescue the Sky-Killing Master. However, Fu Qingping did not retreat; instead, he withdrew his sword scabbard to block the Slaughter Venerable's attack. But this still bought ti for the Sky-Killing Master, who simultaneously rushed to the Executioner Scholar's side.
The Slaughter Venerable didn't linger in battle either. After blocking Fu Qingping's sword scabbard, he imdiately dashed to the Executioner Scholar's side. The entire process took less than a breath, and when the four of them gathered together, the Bloody Monk had yet to reach the Executioner Scholar's side.
Helian Tiehua and the Wolf Monk also dashed over, preparing to block the four of them again. But at this mont, the Executioner Scholar had already taken out a white pellet from his body and slamd it to the ground. The white pellet exploded imdiately upon impact, turning into a dense cloud of white smoke, obscuring everyone's vision.
"Not good, they're trying to escape!" the Wolf Monk shouted in a low voice, but in the thick smoke, he couldn't see a thing.
At this mont, the Bloody Monk also charged into the smoke. He thrust his palms forward, and a muffled groan was heard from within the smoke, suggesting soone had been hit. However, the smoke was so dense that it was impossible to see who got hit, let alone where they were escaping to.
Just then, everyone suddenly heard the sound of a longsword being drawn, followed by Fu Qingping's deep voice, "Green Duckweed Ergence!"
Inside the smoke, everyone saw a flash of green light form an arc. Imdiately after, a heartrending scream echoed, accompanied by the sound of sothing falling to the ground, and then there was silence.
No one dared linger in the smoke, hurriedly retreating from it. By this ti, the four had already run far away and were out of sight.
"They actually have such tools for escape!" Helian Tiehua gnashed his teeth. Originally wanting to kill the Snake Gentleman to avenge his three subordinates, he ended up achieving nothing, leaving him very frustrated.
"Not eliminating them this ti will surely bring endless troubles in the future!" the Wolf Monk said in a deep voice.
The Bloody Monk did not speak, standing silently as he watched Fu Qingping leisurely wiping the longsword in his hand nearby.
