The middle-aged man stared at Bai Mani and didn’t reply.

Bai Mani spoke softly, "I can’t stay more than two days, I was just thinking about you, foster father, and ca to see you."
The middle-aged man stared at Bai Mani, a complex look in his eyes, "I’m a loner; I won’t have any issues. You don’t need to worry, just take care of your own business."
Bai Mani grunted in acknowledgnt, and for a mont seed at a loss for what else to say.
The middle-aged man waved his hand, "Go on, you’re busy."
"Yes!"
Bai Mani acknowledged, hesitated for a mont, and then bowed respectfully again, "Take care, foster father."
The middle-aged man didn’t say anything else but just waved his hand.
Bai Mani turned and left the backyard, heading to her room in the front yard that was originally hers.
She planned to stay the night.
This night could be her last ti staying here in this lifeti.
From today onward, she wouldn’t have another chance to return to this mansion.
The night passed without words.
Bai Mani, early in the morning before daybreak, quietly left the mansion.
"Miss, this early?"
