Huang Tao walked over to Bai Mani and smiled, “Long ti no see, did you need for sothing?”
Bai Mani smiled back, “I heard that Golden Sword Sect is preparing to head to the Immortal Realm, and I have the sa intention, so I ca to see if we could travel together.”
Huang Tao’s heart skipped a beat. These people from the Human Clan want to return to the Immortal Realm?
But there’s the Gray Mirror at the Immortal Demon Channel. They are from the Human Clan, how can they possibly escape detection?

Bai Mani was talking about traveling together, obviously expecting him to lead people through the passage. Wasn’t this pushing him into a fire pit?
If they were outside the mountain gate, at least they had the Sect Protection Large Array which could offer resistance. If he let them in and the two parties couldn’t reach an agreent, what if those Quasi-Saints from the Human Clan flew into a rage and started a killing spree? Who could stop them then?
Bai Mani didn’t force the issue and simply smiled faintly, “Alright!”
The two of them tread upon the wind and quickly left the Golden Sword Sect, landing on top of a desolate mountain.
Huang Tao’s face looked terrible, “Is it you who want to go to the Immortal Realm, or is it those people from the Human Clan who want to go?”
Bai Mani smiled, “Does it make a difference?”
Huang Tao pressed his temper down and said in a low voice, “Of course there’s a difference. You’re from the Demon Race; if you want to go, I could just falsely claim you’re a disciple of Golden Sword Sect and smoothly take you across. But to take those people from the Human Clan, every ans of concealnt and evasion is useless beneath the Gray Mirror. They will be exposed. If that happens, they’ll die, you’ll die, and I’d die too!”
Bai Mani’s smile disappeared as she said solemnly, “We are naturally aware of the Gray Mirror’s existence. Since we’ve sought you out, we naturally have a way to avoid its scan. You just need to bring across. Leave the rest to us.”
Huang Tao frowned and said, “A way to avoid the Gray Mirror? That Gray Mirror is one of the Demon Emperor’s treasures; ever since it was placed there, it has never failed. How could it possibly be avoided? Don’t get ahead of yourself— even if they had the Strength of a Quasi-Saint, they couldn’t possibly avoid the Gray Mirror’s scan!”
