“Which sect are you with?”

The woman originally had her arms crossed, but upon seeing Lin Chen’s Token, her face instantly displayed an exaggerated expression, lowering her arms and exclaiming, “Not a servant, but rather an Official Disciple—how unusual. Next to her, a man mockingly laughed, “Maybe they’re truly exceptional.”

As she spoke, she extended her hand to snatch towards Lin Chen, causing the Token in Lin Chen’s hand to fly out, straight into her grasp.
Lin Chen could have controlled the Token, but he did not intervene.

The man beside her chuckled, “What brings you Heavenly Crane Sect here?”
Lin Chen replied, “I have a friend who invited over for a visit.”
The man next to him widened his eyes, wearing an exaggerated expression, “Yo, look at this, he says he has a friend from the Snow Phoenix Palace who invited him over, just to show off how well his friend is doing now?”
The woman chid in mockingly, “Your friend doesn’t seem that impressive; otherwise, why would they befriend a Different Race like you and invite you over to play? Perhaps they’re just an Outer Sect Disciple.”

Lin Chen nodded, “Yes, that’s him.”
Their expressions instantly turned rather strange; they exchanged glances and then suddenly burst into laughter.
“Kid, you’ve got so nerve, pretending to be friends with Xi Yunlang on the territory of Snow Phoenix Palace. Do you know how terrible it will be if you’re exposed?”
“Xi Yunlang is the most promising genius of Snow Phoenix Palace. If you were a beautiful woman, even if a Different Race, I might believe you, but you’re a Different Race man, claiming to be his friend, are you kidding ?”
