He greeted Bai Jing and dropped his gaze on Lin Chen’s face.
Bai Jing smiled and said, "My friend, Lin Chen."
The middle-aged man’s eyes suddenly brightened, "Is this the expert from the Lost Ball who once confronted the Skull Bandits and frustrated their plans?"
Bai Jing nodded, "Yes."
The middle-aged man showed a delighted smile on his face and proactively extended his hand towards Lin Chen, "Hello, Mr. Lin. I’m Lei Min. I’ve heard from Qingluan about you. We even sent people to contact you, but fate wasn’t in favor, and we couldn’t reach a cooperation with Mr. Lin. It’s truly regrettable."
Lin Chen smiled, "Mr. Lei is too kind; our personalities are laid-back. We prefer to idle away each day with no big ambitions, so we declined Mr. Lei’s invitation; I hope you won’t mind."

Lin Chen raised his eyes, looked at Qingluan behind Lei Min, nodded slightly as a greeting, then followed Mo Shuyan out.
Qingluan watched Lin Chen’s empty neck with subtle emotion in his eyes, subconsciously biting down on his cheek.
