"Lin, there's sothing I need to remind you of."
Ward's smile suddenly faded, and he lowered his voice: "The Haim family mber you killed on the Ice Plateau—Haim's father, Mickey, is also a War God of the War God Temple. If you encounter him in Snow City, you must be careful."
"Hmm, thank you for the warning, Ward." Lin Mo smiled, but in truth, he didn't really take the War God of the War God Temple seriously. According to Lin Mo's estimation, the War Gods of the War God Temple should all be at the Moon Wheel Realm level, only equivalent to the likes of Tian Zhao and Xuzuo. With his current vision, he no longer considered such people substantial threats.
Ward and Kro didn't bring up the matter again, primarily because Lin Mo himself was incredibly powerful and now seed to have connections with the Lanbo Family, suggesting he must have his own trump cards. Otherwise, after killing Haim, he should have left Snow City as soon as possible.
"Leader Ward of the Snow Lion rcenary Group, long ti no see."
A sowhat harsh voice rang out nearby.
Two n and a woman approached them. One of the n looked rugged, the other was gentlemanly, both with European features. As for the woman, she wore a black hollowed-out long dress, exuding seduction and allure.
"Ferdinand of the Thunder rcenary Corps..."
Ward frowned, his gaze falling on the rugged man without showing overly warm reception.
Although all were rcenary groups affiliated with the Lanbo Family, there was still competition among them. For example, the Snow Lion rcenary Group and Thunder rcenary Corps had always had a competitive relationship.
"Ward, I didn't expect you had the face to attend Master Lan Bo's banquet?" Ferdinand sneered.
"What do you an?" Ward frowned, his face showing anger.
"Your rcenary group hasn't upgraded for three years, while our Thunder rcenary Corps received approval from the rcenary Guild just yesterday, officially becoming a Level rcenary Group. Tsk tsk... people should know their place and not try to join every event."
Ferdinand shook his head, a trace of disdain showing on his face.
The man and woman standing beside him didn't bother to hide the contempt in their eyes either.
Kro and Yina's expressions changed slightly; it was evident this group was here to cause trouble.
"Do we need the approval of your Thunder rcenary Corps to attend Young Master Lan Bo's banquet?" Ward snorted coldly, his face turning sowhat ashen.
"Of course not, though I do think people should know their limits." Ferdinand's lips curled into a very contemptuous smile.
"You..."
Ward clenched his fists, but this was Young Master Lan Bo's banquet, and he didn't dare make a move here.
"Master Lin, so you are here."
At this mont, a young man in a tailcoat quickly walked over. Everyone turned to look.
Ward, Kro, Yina, and even the mbers of the Thunder rcenary Corps paused briefly before speaking with a hint of reverence: "Mr. Mark."
"Hmm." Mark only glanced at them; these people who hadn't even reached Level rcenary Group status were not worthy of much conversation.
"Master Lin, Young Master Lan Bo is already inside waiting for you. Today's banquet is specifically to host you. Please follow inside." Mark walked up to Lin Mo, slightly bowed, and said with a smile.
At these words, both Ward and Ferdinand were stunned—today's banquet was specially organized for Lin Mo?
"Alright, I understand. These are my friends; could they join inside?"
Lin Mo glanced at Ward and the others, asking.
"Master Lin's friends are, of course, welco." Mark nodded towards Ward and the others.
Ward, Kro, and Yina were sowhat flattered. They knew that only Level rcenary Groups were typically allowed into the inner hall.
"Leader Ward, Kro, Yina, co inside and have so fun."
Lin Mo said with a smile.
Ward and the others were montarily stunned before finally regaining their composure. Knowing more individuals from Level rcenary Groups could be very beneficial for their future developnt.
Now Ward understood why Lin Mo wasn't afraid of retribution from the Haim family. When even Young Master Lan Bo hosts a banquet for him, Lin seems to have an incredible background and power—that's how he mastered martial arts at such a young age.
As for the Thunder rcenary Corps, left aside, they watched Ward and the others follow Lin Mo into the inner hall, and Ferdinand gritted his teeth, letting out a cold snort.
"Leader, did you see Ferdinand's face just now? It was wonderful." Yina happily laughed.
Ward was also in a good mood; the Thunder rcenary Corps had always suppressed the Snow Lion rcenary Group, and they had finally regained so face this ti, though it was all due to Lin Mo.
Entering the hotel's inner hall, they were greeted with lavish splendor and grandeur. There were significantly fewer people, and the do was adorned with realistic scenic oil paintings, so vivid as if entering another world.
"Leader Ward, this is for you. Enjoy so drinks here. I have so matters to attend to." Lin Mo handed a mbership card to Ward.
"This is... a Bronze mbership Card of the rcenary Guild. One must spend over a hundred thousand to qualify. Whether buying goods or doing other things, as long as it's within the rcenary Guild, there's a degree of preference and benefits." Ward's eyes widened.
"I probably won't need it in the future." Lin Mo, not waiting for Ward's refusal, placed the mbership card in his hand and then followed Mark inside.
"Leader, we've t a benefactor." Mark laughed, patting Ward on the shoulder.
"Indeed, a great benefactor." Ward wryly smiled, tucking the mbership card away, shrugging his shoulders.
Mark led the way, taking Lin Mo into the main hall. From a distance, they could see Lan Bo chatting with a group of teenagers, while Yingzi stood beside them holding a glass, her large watery eyes scanning around, seemingly searching for soone.
When she saw Lin Mo appear, a sparkle flickered in Yingzi's eyes.
"Master."
A hint of excitent was evident on Yingzi's small face.
"Hmm, not mad at anymore?" Lin Mo teased with a smile.
"How could I dare be mad at Master? It's just... I just felt upset in the afternoon, that's all, so I wandered off." Yingzi pouted adorably.
"Master Lin."
Just then, Lan Bo also noticed Lin Mo's arrival, displaying a graceful smile as he ca over with a glass. Lan Bo, it must be said, was a very handso man—exterior and interior, the type most won adored.
Charming appearance, distinguished family, gentlemanly elegance—he was the kind that enchanted won. At the mont, dressed in a white suit, he seed like a prince straight out of a fairytale.
"Young Master Lan Bo, it's just an evening banquet, but I didn't expect it to be so lavish." Lin Mo responded politely with a smile.
"Consider it a farewell for Master Lin and Miss Yingzi. After all, I've known Miss Yingzi for three years; we're old friends now. Plus, Snow City is my hotown; it's only right to extend hospitality." Lan Bo said with decorum.
