"Of course, I understand; I've learned to concoct elixirs before," the snow weasel said.
The snow weasel gathered the items it wanted and then drew out an alchemy array on a clear spot of ground. It spat out the bead from its stomach once again, and the bead floated in the center of the array. Suddenly, a fierce fla burst into existence.
With practiced and expert movents, the snow weasel added the dicinal ingredients it had collected into the flas, paying careful attention to timing, proportions, and heat.
Xia ngdie sat on a mossy rock, watching the snow weasel work, hesitating for a long ti before she asked, "Can you tell about the past? Was I really Lin Mo's wife?"
"Yes, you always were," the snow weasel blinked its bright eyes, nodding its head, its mannerisms endearingly cute. "But I've forgotten everything, tell from the beginning," Xia ngdie said, biting her thin lips, a complex expression on her lovely face.
"I only rember that I was picked up by Master Xiao Mo from a valley a long ti ago. There was also a Fla Tiger that Master Xiao Mo killed to save ."
"Later, inside the ring, I rember you and Master Xiao Mo spending so happy tis together in the Imperial City."
"There was also that ti you left a Wish Knot on a wish tree. After Master Xiao Mo retrieved it, he would often stare at it, lost in thought."
"I heard that because you disappeared, Master Xiao Mo was in despair for a long ti, later even disappearing for half a year."
"There's more, there's more..."
Yao Dou carefully watched the transformation of the flas, controlling the fire while adding dicinal ingredients, and continued to speak slowly.
Xia ngdie hugged her knees, her bright eyes already filled with a misty fog. Although she still had no mory, every single thing Yao Dou ntioned stirred an indescribable sorrow in her heart, as if she were experiencing it firsthand.
As she talked, Xia ngdie could no longer hold back her tears, and they fell, rolling down her fair cheeks, and landing on the stone with barely a splash before slowly disappearing.
So, she was indeed Lin Mo's wife!
So, Lin Mo had been hurt and sunk into sadness because of her!
Scene after scene, like the tail end of an old movie, began to flicker incessantly in her mind.
Her eting with Lin Mo, mistaking him for a playboy; their trip to Myanmar, where Lin Mo fell into the Death Forest to save her.
The second ti they t at the auction, she had stood with Qing Xuan as his fiancée, causing Lin Mo, presumably, imnse heartache.
She had even almost thrown away the ring Lin Mo gave her and returned the ice grass he had auctioned for her.
In the battle at Qinghai, she forced Lin Mo to release Qing Xuan, causing Lin Mo to be gravely injured.
Lin Mo had destroyed the Miao Xue Divine Palace in search of her, yet she had treated him as her enemy.
And this ti, for her sake, Lin Mo had made enemies of the entire Heavenly Sect and had been swept into a Space Rift with her, nearly losing his life. "Such a man, who loves so deeply, who has given up so much, and yet I've been relentlessly hurting him," Xia ngdie clenched her flawless palms tightly, her clear nails digging into her flesh, the stinging pain making it difficult for her to breathe.
Xia ngdie was now completely overwheld by tears, filled with guilt and regret over her actions towards Lin Mo.
"Xiao Mo, I'm sorry."
Xia ngdie curled up on her knees, her tears flowing uncontrollably, her delicate shoulders trembling lightly.
"Master, did I say too much?" Yao Dou asked, seeing Xia ngdie in this state, blinking its bright eyes.
Although it could speak human language, its cultivation days were short, to say nothing of its complete innocence when it ca to matters of emotion. It did not quite understand why Xia ngdie was so heartbroken.
"No, thank you for telling all this," Xia ngdie shook her head, harboring so resentnt for why she had never believed what Lin Mo had said, instead repeatedly hurting him.
Xia ngdie returned to the wooden house and looked at the slightly pale and delicate-faced youth lying on the wooden bed, her eyes red with emotion.
"Xiao Mo, I'm sorry, it was my constant misunderstanding that caused you to end up like this," Xia ngdie sat by the bed, her hands tightly grasping Lin Mo's palm, gently placing it against her face.
The guilt and self-reproach in her heart made it sowhat unbearable to look directly at the young man who had suffered so much for her.
"From today on, I will take good care of you, waiting for you to wake up."
In the subsequent days, Yao Dou searched for Immortal Herbs and dicinal materials every day to concoct elixirs for healing Lin Mo's ailnts. Xia ngdie also took care of him attentively every day, occasionally sitting by the bed alone, 'chatting' with the unconscious Lin Mo, speaking many words to herself.
When bored, Xia ngdie took a piece of Qingzhu and fashioned it into a flute, playing songs for Lin Mo to listen to.
As ti trickled by, and with the help of the dense Spiritual Energy in Immortal City, Xia ngdie even managed to break through the Foundation Establishnt Stage.
But Lin Mo, who was in a coma, had not woken up.
At night, the starlight spilled into the room, and Yao Dou, having practiced cultivation to exhaustion outside in the yard, had fallen asleep.
Xia ngdie sat by the bed as usual, looking at Lin Mo lying in bed, "Xiao Mo, if you never wake up, then I'll stay here with you for a lifeti."
As she spoke, Xia ngdie's eyes reddened again.
Maybe it was from exhaustion or sothing else, but Xia ngdie slowly fell asleep, leaning against Lin Mo's chest, in a daze.
At this mont, Lin Mo was in a realm beyond ordinary human imagination, entering a mysterious and serene world.
In this world, only he existed; everything else was void.
"Where exactly am I?" Lin Mo looked around at the white expanse, clenching his fists.
He couldn't rember the past, where he ca from, or where he was going, and even his own identity eluded him.
In this white and serene world, he felt a chill.
But in the midst of the darkness, he continued to hear a familiar voice calling out to him, the familiar voice echoing in his ears.
Lin Mo bowed his head, frowning tightly, and when he looked up again, his eyes beca clear, his teeth gritted, "I don't belong here."
As Lin Mo uttered these words, his eyes opened once more to the sight of a room—a white expanse that gradually ca into focus, starting out blurred.
Before him was the scene of the little wooden house, the green lamp, wooden tables and chairs, but the room was adorned with many blooming flowers, the air carrying a faint fragrance.
Suddenly, Lin Mo felt a warm sensation on his chest, and looking down, he saw a charming face asleep against his chest, her long lashes fluttering softly.
"ng Die."
Lin Mo extended his palm and gently brushed a strand of hair from her beautiful face.
Perhaps startled by Lin Mo's gesture, Xia ngdie, who had been sleeping with her eyes closed, suddenly woke up, her bright eyes opening to et the tenderness in Lin Mo's.
