Now reading: Chapter 261: One in a Thousand (Part 4) from Urban Supernatural Medical Saint, a Drama novel by Consider long-term planning.

Both of them got ready.

The operating room was left with only the two of them.

The elderly principal lay flat on the operating table, his complexion not looking good.

"Principal, please take off your coat."

The principal moved slowly, struggling to prop himself up, Peng Jiuxiang, seeing this, disregarded the Divine Doctor’s dignity and status, ca forward to help, completely assuming the attitude expected of an assistant.

Fang Yu walked up to the principal, paused thoughtfully, moved his fingers slightly, and with a light slap, placed his fingers on the principal’s back, rhythmically beginning to tap.

Seeing Fang Yu’s skilled movents, Peng Jiuxiang was taken aback.

Such pure technique!

This guy is extraordinary!

His palm looked like old tree bark, not at all aesthetically pleasing, even rough and uneven, very much like the stones on the ground.

But the swift and powerful movents were very remarkable.

Peng Jiuxiang watched those movents, dumbfounded, smooth as flowing water.

With each landing of the palm, five red Hand Seals appeared on the back, and after the tapping like flowing water, those Hand Seals gradually dispersed, like ripples blooming on water.

Peng Jiuxiang was dumbstruck.

He knew well that making the blood in the human body appear easily and comfortably was extrely difficult. But in Fang Yu’s hands, it seed incredibly simple.

"Bear with it, it’s going to hurt a bit," Fang Yu reminded.

"Mhm." The principal closed his eyes.

Snap!

The palm movents continued, flipping non-stop.

Whoosh!

With the acceleration of the massage, the principal’s entire back turned cherry-red.

"Hmm—"

Even with ample ntal preparation, the principal still grimaced in pain, his forehead covered in sweat.

Peng Jiuxiang picked up a towel prepared earlier, helping Fang Yu in cooperation.

"It’ll be over soon."

The fingers pulsed, the muscles on the principal’s back trembling with his movents.

Then the blood dispersed, slowly the entire back returned to normal.

"Divine Doctor Peng, the scalpel."

For an ordinary doctor, it would naturally be impossible to understand Fang Yu’s intention.

Observing for a long ti, and understanding the aning therein, Peng Jiuxiang instantly grasped the key point in Fang Yu’s words.

"Mhm!"

He picked up the scalpel and handed it to Fang Yu.

The hand moved, and the scalpel fell.

Swoosh—

Without any pause.

Without any trickery.

Almost easily and casually, a cut was made across the front of the principal’s chest.

Shh!

The principal suddenly felt as if he was being scorched by hot coals, not knowing why he was feeling this way. It was uncomfortable as if being flayed.

Accompanying this sensation was, like ants gnawing on the bones, a crisp tingling.

Snap!

Fang Yu ceased his palm movents and picked up a container, placing it in front of the principal.

Clang!

A black object fell into the container.

Peng Jiuxiang exclaid in shock, "How is this possible?!"

He focused his eyes on the principal’s back, black Blood Pearls erging on the skin.

These were the toxins the old man had accumulated in his body over the years.

But...

What was that black thing?

Peng Jiuxiang was extrely alard, looking closely.

"It’s a nail! An actual surgical nail!"

His face was full of shock.

In surgeries, cases of leaving items behind are not often seen, but that doesn’t an they don’t exist. Unexpectedly, he had witnessed one himself!

I never expected it at all!

"Alright!"

Fang Yu took a long breath.

Peng Jiuxiang quickly grabbed a towel and wiped the old principal’s back.

After the old principal lay down, his Inner Essence made him too exhausted to feel any pain, and he soon fell asleep in a daze.

Fang Yu smiled indifferently.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead, feeling a bit tired.

"Young brother, what’s wrong with you?" Peng Jiuxiang’s view of Fang Yu had completely changed.

Fang Yu looked up and said indifferently, "I’m fine."

"I can check for you," Peng Jiuxiang walked over.

"No need, I just need so rest," Fang Yu raised his hand.

Peng Jiuxiang, thinking of the mocking and teasing he had done earlier, felt a burning pain on his face.

This hand massage was absolutely brilliant, indescribably wonderful!

How could an ordinary doctor achieve such a pinnacle!

Fang Yu slowly sat down, his physical condition almost back to normal.

Thump—

Peng Jiuxiang suddenly kneeled on one knee.

Fang Yu asked in surprise, "What are you doing?"

"Master!"

At this point, Peng Jiuxiang no longer cared about saving face.

Such a marvelous skill, if he could master it, it would indeed be a blessing to humankind.

"Get up," Fang Yu said with a frown.

"Please don’t call Divine Doctor, I dare not accept that title in front of you!" Peng Jiuxiang said earnestly.

Fang Yu couldn’t help but laugh and cry.

"Also keep your voice down. The old principal is still resting."

"Please accept as your disciple. I feel ashad of my earlier words and actions, and I confess my shallow understanding! Please accept as your disciple!" Peng Jiuxiang pleaded again.

Fang Yu shook his head, "Divine Doctor Peng, this is not dical Skill."

"Not dical Skill?"

"It can save people, but equally—it can also kill!" Fang Yu said astonishingly, his eyes showing a trace of firmness.

Peng Jiuxiang was startled.

Fang Yu raised his palm and said, "This is Martial Arts..."

Martial...Martial Arts!?

Peng Jiuxiang was utterly shocked.

A long, long ti ago, when Peng Jiuxiang was young, he also had a dream of martial arts, dreaming that one day he could travel the world with a sword, help the weak and uphold justice...

As he grew older, the cruel reality shattered him. The path of a Martial Artist was far from easy. So he committed himself to studying dicine, which led to his current achievents.

What a pity!

"This kind of Martial Arts needs to be practiced from a young age, training through the severe cold and scorching heat, accumulating over days and months, non-stop throughout the years...and even that, is just laying the foundation," Fang Yu slowly explained, "You’re already past the age. Whether one can learn this skill also depends on talent; out of a thousand people, perhaps not even one is suitable..."

Peng Jiuxiang shook his head in disappointnt.

"What do you an?" he began to speak more respectfully.

"Ha, you guessed it, I am that one in a thousand," Fang Yu laughed.

"—"

Peng Jiuxiang coughed and, thick-skinned, said, "I have a grandson who has been studying traditional dicine since he was young; I could send him to you."

Fang Yu was stunned.

This old man was really persistent, finding and exploiting any loophole he could.

Fang Yu sighed and slowly stretched out his arm that looked like old tree bark, rolling up his sleeve...

When Peng Jiuxiang saw Fang Yu’s right arm, his eyes filled with disbelief. The arm was aged, unsightly, even sowhat horrific...like it was covered with a layer of iron.

Fang Yu’s voice rang out, "Would you let your grandson suffer like this? Endure these tornts to be that one picked from a thousand..."

Peng Jiuxiang sat down heavily.

Fang Yu patted his shoulder, mories of the past surfacing in his mind. He himself had once been compelled into choosing this no-return path.

Heaven had rcy, Fang Yu was that one in a thousand.

He knew well the sufferings involved. If he had a choice, he would rather lead a diocre life than endure these inhuman tornts, but so paths can only be walked when forced, rising in silence...
