Now reading: Chapter 408: Odd Patient (Part 1) from Urban Supernatural Medical Saint, a Drama novel by Consider long-term planning.

After his breakthrough, Fang Yu, even though in a particularly good mood, had his mood spoiled by the sudden news.

Hongn has always been a mortal enemy of Luli Sect, thus by eliminating Hongn, he would also be clearing obstacles for himself.

After a quick wash, Fang Yu went downstairs.

Just as he was about to leave the house, he ran into Ye Xingkong.

"Father-in-law, where are you heading in such a hurry?" Fang Yu asked with a smile.

Ye Xingkong smiled and said, "Ye Xingchen, that rascal, really is a born business prodigy. He has secured several big deals, and I thought I might as well help him out a bit."

Fang Yu nodded, "I’ve always said he’s not cut out for the path of a Martial Artist. The business world is his battleground."

"You do have an eye for talent, my nephews."

With a business elite like Ye Xingchen running the Ye Family Corporation, Fang Yu no longer had to worry about financial issues. Black Wood Lotus will eventually run out. True ongoing wealth is the capital necessary for the Ye Family’s survival.

Having said that,

Fang Yu left the Ye Family villa.

He took a taxi to Yanjing First Hospital.

About an hour and a half later,

Yanjing First Hospital.

Fang Yu got out of the taxi and headed straight for the reception desk in the lobby.

"Which floor is Doctor Xu Zhaopei on?" Fang Yu asked.

"Fifth floor."

Fang Yu nodded and went straight to the fifth floor.

On the fifth floor, the wide corridor was surprisingly empty. At the end of the corridor, there were two rows of chairs, and Xu Zhaopei was sitting there, crying with her back to him.

Fang Yu frowned and walked over.

Just then—

An elderly man, over sixty years old, ca out from a room nearby and pointed at Xu Zhaopei, cursing:

"Quack doctor! Return my son! Return my son... you malicious spirit, return my son! I want you to pay with your life! I want you to pay with your life!"

Following that, several doctors also erged from the wards, all shaking their heads.

"The patient has entered a state of shock, heart has stopped..."

"Alas, no hope! The surgical knife cut through the major artery; how could such a basic mistake be made?"

"I heard this Doctor Xu received the highest honor dal at the dical forum, that’s why the dean hired her as the honorary surgical director of the hospital! I didn’t expect her first surgery to have such a severe mistake!"

"Every surgical procedure in the hospital is recorded; how did the patient’s family get the video? Really strange!"

The hospital’s doctors discussed among themselves.

Clearly, all fingers were pointed at Xu Zhaopei.

Then two female doctors ca out, glancing coldly at Xu Zhaopei—

"The highest honor dal from the dical forum is just a joke."

"Doctor Li, I think so people got it by using their looks."

"Ah, all kinds of people nowadays."

"Now saying these things is too late, the patient is dead, and the family is making a scene, I wonder what she will do."

...

Hearing these malicious rumors, not just Xu Zhaopei, a fragile woman, but even Fang Yu felt incredibly angry.

"Who said Xu Zhaopei killed soone?"

Fang Yu walked forward briskly.

Everyone was stunned and looked over in the direction of the voice.

Who is this person?

What is he going to do?

Hearing Fang Yu’s familiar voice, Xu Zhaopei’s face brightened, and she stood up, running toward him and threw herself into his arms.

Tears ran freely.

She trembled.

Fang Yu gently patted her shoulder, comforting her, "It’s okay now."

Then, Xu Zhaopei, slightly embarrassed, wiped her tears and stepped out of Fang Yu’s embrace.

"What exactly happened?" Fang Yu asked.

Following that, Xu Zhaopei explained the whole sequence of events to Fang Yu.

This morning, suddenly, an ergency patient needed surgery. The other surgeons hesitated to operate. Xu Zhaopei saw that the patient’s situation was critical but not hopeless, so she volunteered to perform the surgery.

The dean, seeing that she was the recipient of the highest honor dal at the dical forum, trusted her dical skills and agreed to her request.

Unexpectedly, during the surgery, the arterial blood vessel suddenly burst, causing excessive bleeding, and the surgery failed.

They said the patient was beyond saving!

"Take to see." Fang Yu said indifferently.

"Okay." Xu Zhaopei originally wanted to refuse, but rembering Fang Yu’s impressive dical skills, she nodded.

The two went to the ward.

Others looked and shook their heads one by one.

"Insane! The person is almost dead, and they still want to go see?"

"Lost too much blood, surgery failed, the artery can’t be reconnected, even the best surgeon can’t save him now."

"This guy is crazy, interfering at this ti, isn’t he afraid of causing trouble?"

They all were pessimistic about the situation.

At that mont, everyone looked towards the end of the corridor.

A young man, walking lightly, confidently approached.

"It’s Doctor Luo Sheng!"

"What is he here for?"

"This guy’s dical skills are excellent, he’s the best surgeon in our hospital, could he also be here to treat the patient?"

"We should persuade him!"

As Luo Sheng approached the ward.

Doctors gathered around him.

"Doctor Luo, you’re not thinking about seeing that patient, are you?"

Luo Sheng unhesitatingly nodded and said, "Yes, I’m here to see that patient..."

"It’s better not to go, the situation is too severe, going there will only invite trouble!"

Hearing this.

A confident smile crossed Luo Sheng’s face.

"Don’t forget who I am! The more desperate the patient, the more challenging it is. Shouldn’t a doctor put saving lives first?"

Everyone nodded awkwardly.

"I already understood the patient’s condition in the office. I am confident that I can cure him!" Luo Sheng said.

"Doctor Luo, you have a way?"

"That’s great! Didn’t expect Doctor Luo to not only be handso but also so skilled in dicine!"

"You guys didn’t know? Doctor Luo once received the top dical award in Arica!"

"Wow, that’s amazing! No wonder he dares to treat such a patient. Impressive!"

"Doctor Luo, we support you!"

Luo Sheng nodded and walked towards the ward.

The patient’s surgery failed and had been moved to the intensive care unit.

The mont Luo Sheng entered, he saw Fang Yu and Xu Zhaopei observing the patient on the bed!

Truly a narrow road for enemies.

Luo Sheng walked up, smiling and said, "What a coincidence!"

"Luo Sheng?"

"It’s . So, can the patient still be treated?" Luo Sheng asked.

Fang Yu looked up at Luo Sheng and just shook his head.

Seeing this, Luo Sheng chuckled—

"Peipei, I heard this surgery was botched by you. I ca over imdiately after hearing the news!"

Xu Zhaopei did not speak.

But Luo Sheng continued:

"I’ve understood the patient’s condition, and it seems that probably only I can treat him now."

Hearing this, Xu Zhaopei, surprised, asked, "You can treat him?"

"Indeed."

"Then hurry up and treat him!" Xu Zhaopei said.

"I can cure this person, but you must agree to one condition!" Luo Sheng said with a grin.

"What condition?"

Luo Sheng’s mind stirred, this woman had finally taken the bait.
