Looking at the fleeing thief in front of him, Lu Yu slowly picked up the wallet from the ground, walked over to Xia Bing, and said, "Alright, it's over. That brat's hand is useless now. I believe this pedestrian street will be peaceful from now on."
A thief who loses the flexibility of their hand ans their career is pretty much over. Plus, Lu Yu's kicks were so harsh that this thief's arm might never fully recover in this lifeti.
Upon hearing Lu Yu's words, Xia Bing nodded, and unconsciously, her cheeks flushed slightly.
Seeing Lu Yu drive away the group of thieves, the people who were just watching gathered around, trying to take pictures with Lu Yu, but he refused.
Lu Yu's reasoning was simply that a few thieves scared this big group of n so much that they couldn't even utter a fart. Now, after he dealt with the thieves, they wanted to take pictures. Luckily, he had so skills; if it were just a hot-blooded youth handling this, it would surely have resulted in another tragedy, and these cowardly people would be the biggest accomplices!
Lu Yu was distinctly disdainful of this behavior of being heroes after the fact but cowards beforehand.
"A whole bunch of people wouldn't dare stop a few small-ti thieves, not as courageous as a little girl, really sothing!" Lu Yu said bluntly.
Because of Lu Yu's reason for refusing the photos, everyone's faces turned red with sha, and so with thinner skin couldn't bear it and left imdiately.
At this mont, the woman whose wallet was stolen approached Lu Yu and matter-of-factly said, "This is my wallet, hurry up and give it back to !"
Hearing this, Lu Yu's temper flared.
Damn it, when I asked earlier, you denied it faster than anyone, but now the thieves are gone, and you shalessly co over asking for the wallet. The thickness of your face is comparable to a city wall!
"Ma'am, didn't you say earlier this wallet wasn't yours? What's the aning of coming here now?" At this mont, holding the wallet, Lu Yu looked at the woman and laughed, his words full of sarcasm.
"Cut the crap, this is my wallet. I advise you to return it to , or I'll call the police!" The woman looked at Lu Yu without any redness in her face, instead shouting loudly.
"Call the cops? Screw you!"
Hearing the woman's words, Lu Yu exploded. He was originally a young master skilled in all kinds of trouble, and when it ca to cursing and complaining, no one in LA City would dare claim first.
He looked at the woman in front of him and directly pointed at her nose, cursing, "Earlier, my girlfriend asked you, and you were pretty smart. Now I've risked my life to get the wallet back, not a single thank you from you, and you're even threatening . Do you think I'm going to give you the wallet!?"
Upon saying these words, even the stinky tofu vendor couldn't stand it and pointed to the woman, saying, "I've been selling stinky tofu for over ten years here and never seen soone so shaless! You don't dare admit your stuff was stolen; why would I give it back to you?"
As soon as these words ca out, the woman's face turned reddish-purple. She looked at Lu Yu, saying, "I don't care, the wallet is in your hands now. If you don't give it back, I'll call the police!"
"Screw your police call!" Lu Yu's anger rose. Five years ago, he wasn't afraid of anything or anyone, and now he's already infuriated by this woman. Hearing her words, he directly threw the wallet into a passing garbage truck.
"My wallet!" The woman scread as she watched her wallet being thrown into the garbage truck, then turning to Lu Yu, she said, "You compensate for the wallet!"
"Screw your compensation!" Lu Yu said to the woman, "Why didn't you say anything to the thief earlier? Serves you right for getting robbed!"
"This wallet is LV, worth quite a bit, you compensate !" The woman continued to pester relentlessly.
"So what if it's a donkey brand? Let tell you, if you want the wallet, go find it in the garbage truck yourself. Treating a thief like your own father and then getting aggressive when soone helps you. For soone as dumb as you, I'm not going to pamper you!" At this mont, Lu Yu said, his eyes full of disdain.
"You!" The woman was about to speak, but Lu Yu interrupted.
"If you don't shut up, I'll throw you into the garbage truck too, believe it or not?" Looking at the woman, Lu Yu said, the words filled with a tone of threat.
Upon hearing Lu Yu's words, the woman silenced imdiately. She had seen Lu Yu's terrifying skills earlier, kicking a grown man to fly backward, and she didn't doubt for a mont that Lu Yu could throw her into the garbage truck.
"Can anyone help stop that garbage truck? I'll give half of the cash as thanks!" At this mont, the woman looked around and said, words filled with urgency.
Due to her plump figure and attire, it was extrely difficult for her to chase after the garbage truck.
"Sorry, we don't care for your money. If you want to stop the truck, do it yourself; we're busy eating stinky tofu." The people in line said coldly.
Hearing such a response, the woman's face showed imnse anger. She began to loudly curse, "Bastards! Bastards! You're all bastards!"
"Ma'am, if you don't chase them now, the garbage truck will drive away." Lu Yu calmly remarked, his words indifferent.
Upon hearing Lu Yu's words, the woman turned abruptly, only to see the garbage truck carrying her wallet slowly driving off. If she didn't pursue it soon, she'd truly lose her wallet!
Thinking this, the woman gave Lu Yu a fierce look and then, without hesitation, took off her high heels and ran at full speed toward the garbage truck, her actions both amusing and comical.
Everyone burst into laughter as they watched the woman's retreating figure.
Seeing the woman leave, the stinky tofu vendor then packed two large portions for Lu Yu and Xia Bing, handing them to Lu Yu, and said, "Young man, these two servings are on the house. Nowadays, everyone minds their own business, but there aren't many willing to help others like you. Today, though the woman's actions were indecent, I can't let good people lose heart!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Yu thanked the vendor, then smiled slightly and said to the people in line, "See this? In this world, there are still more good people, so you know what to do going forward."
With that, Lu Yu smiled and walked shoulder to shoulder with Xia Bing towards the parking area.
