Soon after, several n dressed in black tactical gear, wielding semi-automatic weapons, rushed out of the cars and quickly surrounded Lu Yu's Bentley Mulsanne!
Once the car was surrounded, using the headlights of the SUVs, these tactical-clad n peered inside and imdiately noticed that the Bentley Mulsanne was empty. Not a shadow of Lu Yu, nor even a wisp of a ghost!
Seeing this scene, everyone was montarily stunned. Then, as they raised their eyes, they saw nothing but a field of lush grass ahead, with no other figures in sight.
"What's going on here?!"
Just as everyone was bewildered, a deep voice from Jin Qingyun instantly sounded.
Upon hearing the voice, they turned their heads to see Jin Qingyun and his butler slowly disembarking from their vehicle, walking toward Lu Yu's car.
After listening to Jin Qingyun's inquiry, the group exchanged glances and spoke up, "Master, Lu Yu has run..."
"Run?!"
Hearing this, the butler's eyes widened in disbelief. He looked at the ard n and said, "A bunch of useless fools! So many of you, yet you let Lu Yu escape, you're truly..."
"Enough!"
Jin Qingyun interrupted, his voice calm and steady.
His eyes scanned the area, noticing the lush grass nearby, and he said, "He just parked the car here, he can't have gone far. Search this patch of wild grass and see if you can find any trace of Lu Yu!"
As he spoke, Jin Qingyun's gaze was frosty as he looked at the wildland, his expression solemn.
"Yes!"
After hearing Jin Qingyun's command, all the ard n nodded in agreent, then turned on their flashlights and paired up to enter the chest-high grass, leaving a few to protect Jin Qingyun's safety.
This large patch of grass was extrely dense. Once inside, only their heads could be seen from outside. It was chaotic and lush, offering perfect cover.
At this mont, Lu Yu hid within the grass, and upon seeing the flashlights not far away, he murmured, "Marcus, they've entered the ambush area. Did you all see it?"
His voice was low, laced with an icy chill, like a lurking killer in the weeds, exuding a murderous aura!
"Yes, sir, we see it very clearly!"
At that mont, Marcus and a group of Assassin Alliance mbers were positioned two kiloters away at a high vantage point, each closely monitoring the movent in the grass through their M200 rifles, calmly saying, "These people are like sitting ducks to us!"
Deep in the night, in the pitch-dark outskirts, even the smallest glimr could be seen clearly from afar. So Jin Qingyun's flashlight-wielding n appeared like moving targets.
"Excellent!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Yu nodded and coldly commanded, "Begin eliminating them now!"
His words echoed with murderous intent: "Rember, leave no one alive except Jin Qingyun!"
"Yes, sir!"
Upon Lu Yu's command, Marcus respectfully responded through his earpiece. He turned to his twenty subordinates ard with silenced M200 rifles and instructed, "Eliminate everyone except Jin Qingyun—leave no one alive!"
With these words, everyone nodded, without further ado, they aid their M200s at the light two kiloters away, smirking cruelly...
anwhile, within the grass, the ard n cautiously searched for Lu Yu's presence, each highly diligent, afraid of missing sothing.
"What a nuisance, is Lu Yu part rabbit? Running here in the middle of the night!"
One man muttered while searching, using his semi-automatic weapon to push aside the grass, continuing his search for Lu Yu's trail.
"Co on, stop complaining,"
His companion replied, "Searching for Lu Yu here is better than getting our heads blown off at Huqiu Mountain!"
"You're right,"
The man acknowledged his companion's words, "Huqiu Mountain really is..."
Thud!
Before he could finish, a soft sound was heard, and his head exploded in an instant, sending pink brain matter and blood splattering all over his companion!
The scene unfolded so quickly, leaving no ti to react. His companion's face was instantly surprised, just preparing to shout.
But just at that mont, another bullet swiftly drilled into his forehead, exploding his head, brain matter and blood scattering, mirroring his companion's death scene exactly!
Thus, the two ard n, without any reaction, had their heads silently blown off, dying without a trace.
Their flashlights tumbled to the ground, seen from afar as re beams of light, nothing out of the ordinary!
Deep in the night, in the wild wilderness, vision remained the greatest obstacle, difficult to discern anything at close range, let alone in such a dense patch of grass.
Thus, the two n's deaths went unnoticed, with nothing to reveal the change, save for the abandoned flashlight beams and the deathly silence of the wilderness!
In that deathly silence, a silent slaughter continued to unfold!
