114: Chapter 114 Death Ga 114: Chapter 114 Death Ga Shh!

Suddenly, before Li Lao San could finish speaking, Ye Xuan’s figure remained still, yet his sword finger swept across the void, unleashing a terrifying streak of blood light that burst forth.

The smile had yet to fade from Li Lao San’s face when, to everyone’s horror, his body was cleanly severed at the waist, becoming two dreadful halves that slumped onto the platform.

Blood spurted out, blinding to the eyes; a sight too ghastly to bear.

This was the scene witnessed by over a thousand death row inmates, casting a sinister silence upon the entire field.

“Ah!”

It took a good ten breaths before soone let out a sharp scream, breaking the deadly quietness of the field and inciting the prisoners to cry out in fear, their gazes towards Ye Xuan finally tinged with terror.

Step—step—step.

Calm as a mild breeze and floating clouds, untainted by a speck of dust, Ye Xuan walked leisurely on the platform.

With every step he took, it felt as if he were stepping on the prisoners’ hearts, making their breathing difficult.

“In my eyes, Ye Xuan, you are all trash, scum, and degenerates—the maggots in a cesspit,” Ye Xuan stated coldly, without a hint of emotion in his voice, his gaze laden with disdain as he looked at the prisoners.

As Ye Xuan’s voice fell, the death row inmates’ faces changed, and so even pulled out sharp weapons fashioned from toothbrushes, their looks towards Ye Xuan turning particularly vicious.

Although Ye Xuan had displayed a grueso scene, it hadn’t frightened these n; after all, they were already condemned to die and were prepared for death, not so fearful that they would hesitate to attack Ye Xuan.

“Sir, don’t think that just because you are an Ancient Martial Artist and killed Li Lao San, you can instill fear in us.

Better state your purpose for being here,” said a young man with gold-rimd glasses as he walked out, his eyes sweeping over Ye Xuan with a trace of doubt.

Ye Xuan could tell that this young man was deeply calculating, prompting him to nod slightly in satisfaction, “You’re not bad, not as foolish as the rest.”

At this point, Ye Xuan surveyed the death row inmates with an examining posture, his voice eerily sinister, “Today, I’ve co here to play a ga with you all.”

“The rules of this ga are simple, with no ti limit.

Taking this field as the boundary, the thousand-and-more of you will fight each other to the death.

No matter the ans or thods used, as long as you kill the person beside you, the first hundred survivors will beco the ultimate victors.”

Ye Xuan continued, his voice pausing slightly as his expression grew increasingly sinister, “Of course, there is a reward for this ga that you all desire.

The one hundred who survive will not face execution, and will leave this prison with , afterwards becoming my underlings, Ye Xuan’s dogs.”

As Ye Xuan finished speaking, the death row inmates fell into a silent stillness, only the sound of heavy breathing echoing among the crowd, a profoundly oppressive atmosphere spreading among them.

How important is life?

If they weren’t pushed to a dead end, no one would choose death—these death row inmates were no exception.

“Why should we believe you?”

“Don’t believe him, everyone!

He wants us to fight amongst ourselves.”

After a silence, so raised their voices in challenge to Ye Xuan.

“You are all dood, with no choice left.

Whether you believe or not is entirely up to you.”

“Now, the ga begins!”

Like a devil’s temptation, as if guided by a demon, Ye Xuan’s smile was sinister and ominous, plunging the entire playground into a repressive atmosphere once more.

People were quick to keep their distance from each other, their faces etched with wariness.

“Old Second, we are sworn brothers.

Why are you keeping so far away from ?

Could it be that you actually believe this person’s nonsense?”

In a secluded corner, a dark-skinned burly man, anguished and deeply aggrieved, loudly chastised a young man, his face showing the utmost sorrow.

“Big… Big Brother… I…!”

Seeing the burly man’s pained expression, the young man bit his lips, guilt surfacing in his eyes.

Yes, this was his big brother by oath of ten years.

What was he thinking?

Had he really lost trust in his own sworn brother?

Observing the young man’s remorseful face, the burly man gave a hearty laugh, striding towards the youth, saying, “Second Brother, do you rember when we pledged to be brothers for life, shared an oath that we did not seek to be born on the sa year, month, and day, but wished to die on the sa year, month, and day?

Even though we were sentenced to death, eighteen years later we are still valiant n; I have never regretted knowing you.”

“Big Brother, I was wrong.

I shouldn’t have doubted you.”

Hearing the burly man’s bold words, the young man’s heart was moved, and he sobbed, stepping forward and kneeling before the burly man, his eyes brimming with tears of guilt.

“Second Brother!”

The burly man’s visage was still bold, as if he had long been ready to face death.

He reached out his hand to touch the young man’s shoulder, as if to help him up.

But at that mont, a cruel smirk curled at the edge of the burly man’s mouth.

Snap!

With a ferocious and spiteful swiftness like a whirlwind, before the young man could react, the burly man’s thick palms clamped onto the young man’s neck like iron pincers.

Under the force of great strength, the young man’s neck twisted irregularly, and a copious amount of blood frothed from the corner of his mouth.

“Ugh… Ugh!”

The young man’s eyes were filled with horror as he stared at the sworn brother before him.

His body convulsed uncontrollably as he fought desperately, but the burly man’s face twisted into a grueso expression, his hands twisting the young man’s neck with crazed excitent.

“Die, die.”

The burly man laughed maniacally, his eyes reflecting madness, saying, “Sorry, Second Brother, Big Brother doesn’t want to do this, but by killing you first, it’s the only hope I have to survive.

Isn’t that right?”

The young man struggled in agony.

He wanted to roar in anger; he wanted to bellow in rage, but as the strength in the burly man’s hands grew, the young man could feel his throat bone breaking, his tongue sticking out long, a sure sign of his impending death.

If the young man had known this would be the outco, he certainly would have struck first.

But there is no dicine for regret in the world, and his end was to be strangled to death by the so-called sworn brother.

With resentnt, anger, hatred, and regret, as the young man’s body stiffened, he finally lost his breath, his eyes bulging in death, proving how unwilling he was to die.

Thud!

The burly man cast the young man’s body aside like garbage, his expression even more cruel and fierce.

He looked around at the many prisoners present, then quickly pulled out two chopsticks from his bosom.

Their sharp wooden tips seed to shine with a bloodthirsty light, and he guarded against the other prisoners with wary and ruthless caution.

Such a scene naturally caught the eyes of the thousands of prisoners, and because of it, mutual trust completely disintegrated, with everyone quickly keeping their distance.

Even blood brothers no longer trusted each other.
