"Disciple?"
When the Primordial Spirit saw Ye Xuan’s appearance clearly, the entire person exclaid in shock, as if his soul froze at this mont, and a trace of despair crossed his eyes.
After countless years, the Primordial Spirit appeared much older at this mont. His hair was completely gray, and his figure was hunched over, bearing no resemblance to his once majestic and extraordinary self.
"Why did you co?"
With a furious voice, the Primordial Spirit roared, a wilting color present in his eyes because he was fully aware of Ye Xuan’s situation - this was nothing short of a suicidal action.
The Primordial Spirit, having been captured and returned to the Undying Heavenly Palace, never intended to leave alive, for he knew what fate awaited him. He rely hoped that Ye Xuan could live on well and, in the future, beco a peerless power in all eternity. This had been his lifelong wish, and he felt imnse pride in cultivating such a disciple as Ye Xuan.
"Disciple pays respects to Master."
Ye Xuan bowed deeply to the Primordial Spirit, then strode forward to undo the chains binding him. Turning around, he faced the Undying Hall Master and said, "I don’t want to say much. I’ve arrived now. Can you let him leave?"
"The Primordial Spirit was originally one of my hall’s three thousand Demon God guards, and for the sins he committed, he should be annihilated in both body and soul. However, the Heavenly Lord decreed that as long as you are willing to co to our Undying Heavenly Palace, his offenses can be forgiven. He can leave now," the Undying Heavenly Lord said in a deep voice.
"Thank you."
Ye Xuan released a streak of Power of Space-Ti, not allowing the Primordial Spirit any room to refuse, sending him directly out of the Undying Heavenly Palace, causing the Primordial Spirit to howl in rage.
"The Heavenly Lord wishes to see you. Go in by yourself." Hall Master Ming Tian waved his hand to open a Light Gate. Without a mont of hesitation, Ye Xuan stepped into the Light Gate, which closed as he vanished from sight.
...
A forest of bamboo swayed gently in the breeze, the rustling leaves creating a soft symphony.
In the depths of the bamboo forest lay a lake, beside which stood a figure. The individual was clad in a black robe, possessing a handso visage, exuding no aura whatsoever, standing quietly like a re mortal.
"I have waited for you a very, very long ti, but thankfully, I’ve finally waited long enough."
The black-robed young man slowly turned around, his eyes resembling the vast cosmos, with occasional glimrs of the Light of Annihilation flickering within them as he gazed deeply at Ye Xuan.
At this mont.
Ye Xuan stood silently, staring at the young man before him, a sudden feeling of bewildernt welling up from within.
This person... this person...
Inexplicably, Ye Xuan froze entirely on the spot, as the black-robed man ahead gave him an eerily familiar feeling, as if they had t before.
But Ye Xuan knew very well he had never encountered this man, this unaccountable sensation leaving him utterly astonished.
"In this world, there are always two similar flowers. In you, I see my past, because you and I are of the sa kind," the black-robed young man murmured.
"You are... the Undying Heavenly Lord?" Ye Xuan tentatively inquired.
"You may call the Undying Heavenly Lord, but if you wish, you may also address as Master," the Undying Heavenly Lord said with a smile.
"Master?"
Ye Xuan was suddenly taken aback, not quite understanding what the Undying Heavenly Lord ant.
"You have cultivated the Undying Immortal Scripture, and even obtained my Heavenly Punishnt Halberd, not to ntion the Void-breaking Heavenly Scripture is also in your hands. Though I have never taught you any Cultivation thod, you nonetheless carry my legacy, so calling Master is not inappropriate," the Undying Heavenly Lord softly said.
At this mont.
Ye Xuan remained silent, having considered many scenarios before coming to the Undying Heavenly Palace, even preparing for the worst outcos, but he did not expect such a situation.
"In fact, I t you during the Fourth Epoch, and you and I had an exchange, even validating each other, but our philosophies did not align, and we parted on unpleasant terms."
"However, none of that matters. Only now have I beco aware of your existence, learning about your entire past through the mories of the Primordial Spirit," the Undying Heavenly Lord uttered mildly, as if everything was within his grasp.
"You know my past?" Ye Xuan furrowed his brow slightly.
"I am Supre, knowledgeable of all things. Although the Primordial Spirit did not speak, I searched his mory and learned all about your past."
"Actually, your experience is very similar to mine, both rising from humble adversities. You’ve co this far, and I find it astounding."
"Indeed, I do not wish to kill you, as you hold many secrets. Presumably, space-ti should have inford you, though that fellow always enjoys being cryptic. Although he wields the Power of Space-Ti and knows many secrets, in my eyes, he cannot quite compare to ."
The Undying Heavenly Lord spoke plainly, as if discussing a trivial matter, seemingly indifferent to even the Master of Space-Ti.
"Chaotic Universe, Twelve Supre Powers, the Master of Space-Ti ranks third, and you only fourth, can I say you are rather arrogant?" Ye Xuan said in a steady voice.
"Hahaha."
The Undying Heavenly Lord laughed, a casual laugh, only for a streak of the Light of Annihilation to pass before him, as his sleeves waved and stirred up cosmic laws, transforming the lake beneath him into myriad universes.
"Chaos Fate Space-Ti is powerful, yet it rely activates the three Great Rivers, and in terms of true Cultivation, besides the Chaos, fate and space-ti are simply no match for ."
"Of course, inviting you here isn’t to flaunt my strength, but to take you as my disciple, and in the Eleventh Epoch, transform you into a Supre Power so that in the future, you can transcend Chaos Reincarnation and truly achieve Undying," the Undying Heavenly Lord smiled and said.
"Are you so confident that I’ll accept you as my Master?" Ye Xuan asked, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Confidence?"
The Undying Heavenly Lord walked slowly toward Ye Xuan, as heavens brightened with stars behind him, until he stood before Ye Xuan, saying, "Among the Ten Supre Powers, next to Chaos, I am preeminent, and whether it’s space-ti or fate, under my Annihilation might, they’re all illusions. Do I not qualify to be your Master?"
"And if I refuse?" Ye Xuan’s voice turned slightly cold.
"Death!"
With a tranquil deanor, untainted by dust, the Undying Heavenly Lord uttered but a single word, revealing his tyrannical and arrogant nature, allowing no dissent against him.
"Ye Xuan, if I wished to kill you, not even the Master of Space-Ti could stop . The so-called Chaos Rules may constrain , but I pay them no mind. I value you for who you are, and more so for the potential in you. Once you acknowledge as Master, the Undying Heavenly Palace will be yours to command, and in the next epoch, becoming a Supre Power will be an assured outco," stated the Undying Heavenly Lord.
"I ntioned that you and I are a kind, and you are a smart person. When faced with the choice of life and death, you should know what to choose," the Undying Heavenly Lord continued solemnly.
"Do you think you’ve cornered ?" Ye Xuan inquired calmly.
"Can you resist?"
The Undying Heavenly Lord laughed softly, though his eyes brimd with the intent of death and annihilation, his domineering posture unchallenged by anyone.
