214: Listing Remarks 214: Listing Remarks This isn’t the first ti I’ve written a pre-serialization note, nor will it be the last.

This book has been through a lot up to now, receiving both admiration and criticism, much likely related to the book’s style.

The review section is quite harsh, but there are few trolls, since the readers who actually like this book really don’t coddle trolls, and are pretty hot-tempered…

that’s probably why there aren’t many trolls.

But they can’t really be called trolls, after all, everyone has different tastes!

I’ve labeled this book as “dark fiction,” though it isn’t really that dark.

True dark fiction would be anti-humanity, killing relatives and friends, lawless.

Such content would imdiately be censored.

Even if it weren’t censored, I wouldn’t write such things.

Though it’s fiction, that content is corrupt and morally skewed.

I’ve positioned the protagonist as selfish and ruthless.

To beco Immortal, he would resort to any ans necessary, thus his actions are decisive and harsh.

To be honest, having written close to 500,000 words, I’ve condensed what should’ve been 1,000,000 words into 500,000, ensuring there’s no filler at all, and the pace is certainly very quick.

Although this book is published in the urban category, its focus is actually on Cultivation, which you’ve probably noticed.

Moreover, this book avoids the usual urban clichés like going to school, street vendors, practicing in parks, class reunions, and so on…

I could easily write about these things and effortlessly inflate it to over a million words, but I think they’re overused and you might be tired of them.

I want to show you sothing different.

The actual content that I want to express in this book cos after the protagonist becos an Immortal.

He still needs to grow, and during that process, he will experience intrigue and face formidable enemies, and he must figure out how to triumph against the strong.

These are elents I’ve yet to write out, which I’ll reveal bit by bit, crafting a story that will never be dull, continuing only after the protagonist becos Immortal.

Back to the main point.

The book is about to be serialized, which ans it will now be monetized.

Honestly, I was supposed to have several more days before serialization, but unexpectedly, I just received notice that the book will be serialized tomorrow at noon.

Fatty doesn’t want to play the sympathy card or say anything grandiose.

I write partially out of passion and partially to make money to support my family.

I know that after charging, many readers will leave, so might turn to pirated versions, others might simply drop the book, especially since the current plot might seem a bit bland; I’m trying to accelerate the pace to help the protagonist beco Immortal more quickly and get into the exciting story I want to write.

So authors might say in their serialization notes that subscribing to one chapter is just tiny money, ten chapters for the price of a pocket-change, a single month being no more than a box of cigarettes, two bottles of water, or a breakfast.

But Fatty doesn’t want to say such things because I know that it’s not just my book you read, but other authors’ works as well, and your expenses on these add up.
