139: Chapter 139 Promise 139: Chapter 139 Promise Wang Yan, who hadn’t left, stunned Su Yamo for a mont, making her incredulous that this “liar” actually had the guts to stay here.

But on second thought, Su Yamo understood inwardly; surely Wang Yan wanted to escape, but was blocked by the big man in a suit.

“Serves you right, kid.

You tried to sche against but ended up scheming against yourself, hahaha—”

Thinking of this, a smile appeared on Su Yamo’s lips as she turned to escape the castle.

However, just as she turned to leave, she stopped again: “Wait, I’m a police officer, how can I possibly see a citizen suffer and ignore it?”

“But Wang Yan is just a liar; not caring for him isn’t exactly negligence!”

“Should I care for him or not?”

“Stay or go?”

Su Yamo hesitated, standing there, watching as hundreds of suited n got closer to Wang Yan, about to capture him.

At that mont, Wang Yan suddenly moved, and with a flick of his body, he disappeared instantly.

Yet for Su Yamo, she saw hundreds of Wang Yans in the mirrors flicker, suddenly appearing as one, this one Wang Yan charged at a suited man, raising his hand.

No movent could be seen in Wang Yan’s hand, yet the suited man scread miserably and collapsed softly to the ground.

Then Wang Yan flickered again, returning to his original spot; Su Yamo saw Wang Yan in the mirror transform back into hundreds.

These hundreds of Wang Yans flashed again into one; this Wang Yan charged at a second suited man, swiftly knocking him to the ground in a similar manner.

Wang Yan’s figure constantly flickered, transforming from one person into hundreds, then from hundreds into one, each transformation resulted in a suited man screaming and falling to the ground.

Initially, when the other n heard the screams, they excitedly adjusted their direction, ready to capture Wang Yan.

But the screams continued to ring out, overlapping each other, with one scream still echoing in the castle as the next began.

In half a minute, over a hundred screams had already resounded.

The castle was filled with these screams.

By this point, the suited n were all frightened.

“What’s going on?

Just how many are there on the other side?”

“Don’t know, there’s only one in the mirror.”

“The mirror’s deceptive, there must be hundreds, even thousands.”

“What should we do?

Let’s get out of here!”

The remaining suited n shouted a few words, each feeling the urge to retreat.

But just then, a rough voice bood.

“We can’t run, if we do Master Xing—ah—”

Just as this sentence was said, the rough voice was cut off by a miserable scream, followed by silence.

Upon hearing this, all the remaining suited n were terrified.

Soone shouted, “Run—”

Imdiately, the rest fled outside.

However, this castle is a maze, entering easily but finding escape is impossible, causing everyone to dash around like headless flies.

Simultaneously, the screams did not cease, continuing to resound, with another dozen in just half a minute.

The remaining n were even more terrified, and in their panic, found it impossible to locate the exit.

Seeing this, Su Yamo, already stunned, suddenly recalled Wang Yan’s earlier words: “Close the door to trap the dog.”

Isn’t this trapping the dog?

Did Wang Yan already foresee these suited n trying to flee?

What kind of monster is he, facing hundreds of n without fear, and completely in control??

While Su Yamo was in shock and doubt, a big man suddenly turned a corner and rushed toward her.

Su Yamo noticed the gun in the man’s hand, and startled, quickly intended to retreat.

But unexpectedly, the man looked at Su Yamo like he saw a ghost, showing extre terror, not even considering shooting, and swiftly turned to flee.

Leaving Su Yamo alone, staring at the fleeing man, completely unaware of what happened.

Just as the man turned, a figure suddenly appeared like a ghost before him, raising an arm, and before Su Yamo could catch the movent, the man grunted and fell to the ground.

As the man fell, Su Yamo realized the ghost-like figure was indeed Wang Yan.

Wang Yan struck the man down and smiled gently at Su Yamo, who stood there stunned, before flickering and vanishing into the corner walls again.

Through the mirror in front, Su Yamo saw Wang Yan transform into hundreds once more.

Looking down at the man lying at her feet, his breath weak; he was rely knocked unconscious by Wang Yan.

By now, fewer suited n remained, yet every one was terrified, their cries echoing throughout the castle.

Then a gunshot rang out, evidently fired by one of the n.

Su Yamo was alard, realizing: Not good, they’ve finally thought of breaking the mirrors, Wang Yan is in danger, must rescue him quickly.

Having thought this, Su Yamo hurriedly bent down and picked up the big man’s gun from the ground, intending to find Wang Yan.

However, this one gunshot quickly triggered a chain reaction, more gunshots rang out increasingly dense, shaking the entire castle, causing dust to fall from the ceiling, and the reverberation made Su Yamo’s ears buzz.

The bullets sounded even denser, while countless suited n frantically shouted: “Stop pretending to be supernatural, I’ll shatter all the mirrors now.”

Following this, the breaking sound of bullets hitting mirrors echoed, shards fell to the ground, one by one revealing the suited n.

The whistling bullets breaking the mirrors already flew right in front of Su Yamo.

Su Yamo was startled, hurriedly hugged the ground, and upon lying down, looked up.

She saw one mirror after another fall, leaving the castle gradually empty, a re hundred square ters in size, everything visible at a glance.

Before all the shattered pieces had fully fallen, Wang Yan was already surrounded by over thirty ard n in the castle.

When these n saw Wang Yan himself, their faces twisted with vicious and ferocious expressions.

Pointing their guns at Wang Yan, they gritted their teeth and said: “Let’s see you pretend!

Without the mirrors, how can you act?”

Seeing this, Su Yamo couldn’t help but scream: “Wang Yan, escape quickly.”

But surrounded Wang Yan showed no trace of panic; just as thousands of mirror shards were still falling, Wang Yan flickered and moved again.

Although the complete mirrors were gone, Wang Yan’s speed remained incredibly fast, resembling hundreds of versions of himself, leaving Su Yamo unable to discern whom she was seeing.

These hundreds of Wang Yans reflecting in thousands of glass fragnts, seed to multiply into millions, as if Wang Yan was everywhere within the castle.

Wang Yan, omnipresent, weaving through those thirty-odd n like a butterfly, within a brief instant, their bodies stiffening, collapsed motionlessly.

Wang Yan paused, and hundreds of figures vanished instantly, reverting to a single one.

Now the thousands of mirror fragnts landed, scattering across the ground, countless broken pieces rebounded upward, reflecting silver light.

Amidst this radiance, Wang Yan calmly approached Su Yamo, bent forward extending his hand, an enchanting smile on his handso face: “Constable, make sure you fulfill your promise to .”
