Chapter 342: Chapter 342: Nurse DouDou

When Su Yamo hugged Wang Yan, her eyes were already tightly closed. Suddenly, she felt a powerful arm embrace her, lifting her off the ground, as the sound of the wind roared past her ears.

Su Yamo was startled and couldn’t help but open her eyes.

As soon as she did, she was shocked to see Wang Yan holding her as they jumped out of the window and were falling towards the ground.

The window of the room they were in was several dozens of ters high, and falling from that height would certainly result in a grueso fate.

Su Yamo was imdiately filled with regret, wondering how she could have blindly trusted Wang Yan and followed him outside.

But it was too late to regret now; watching her fall faster and faster, Su Yamo clung tightly to Wang Yan and closed her eyes, yelling loudly, “Help—!”

Su Yamo’s shout for help was extrely sharp and loud, echoing in the sky above.

Moreover, it was evident then that Su Yamo had incredible lung capacity; her cries for help were elongated, lasting for several seconds.

Even as she scread, Su Yamo realized she hadn’t hit the ground.

However, she lacked the courage to open her eyes, and continued to yell without stopping.

Just then, Su Yamo heard Wang Yan’s resigned voice next to her ear: “Stop shouting, we’ve already landed.”

Upon hearing Wang Yan’s words, Su Yamo stopped yelling, but she didn’t dare open her eyes. Instead, she felt slowly, as if the sound of howling wind was indeed gone and her feet seed to be touching solid ground.

Eventually, Su Yamo dared to open her eyes ever so slightly. Upon looking around, she opened them wide with astonishnt, realizing indeed she stood on the ground.

Su Yamo was imdiately delighted, looking at herself, finding not a single injury on her body, and moving around without feeling any discomfort.

At that mont, Su Yamo widened her eyes, smiling at Wang Yan, “This is so incredible, I’m actually unhard.”

Wang Yan replied with an annoyed tone, “I told you it was safe, yet you still scread loudly.”

Su Yamo glared back and said, “Are people not allowed to scream when scared? Even if my scream was loud, what’s the big deal?”

Wang Yan shrugged and said helplessly, “There’s nothing wrong with it, except you alerted all the police that you escaped.”

Upon hearing that, Su Yamo suddenly rembered that there seed to be many police officers downstairs.

At this mont, Su Yamo quickly looked around and indeed saw several police officers surrounding her from afar.

These officers had reached within several ters of Su Yamo but stopped upon looking at her with eyes full of hesitation and odd glimrs of suppressed laughter.

Su Yamo recognized these police officers too, but couldn’t fathom why they had such strange looks in their eyes. She quickly turned to Wang Yan and said, “What should we do? Hurry and find a way to escape.”

At that mont, Inspector Xu stuck his head out of a window on the hotel’s upper floors, shouting down, “Catch them quickly.”

Following Inspector Xu’s order, the officers who had paused imdiately closed in on Su Yamo.

One of them said, “Director Su, sorry, we’re just doing our duty.”

Just then, dozens of police officers surged down from the hotel, closing in to encircle Su Yamo and Wang Yan.

Seeing the police getting nearer, Su Yamo urgently looked at Wang Yan, exclaiming, “Think fast, how are we going to escape?”

Wang Yan smiled slightly and said, “I do have a way, but you mustn’t scream again.”

Su Yamo quickly nodded, “Alright, I absolutely won’t scream.”

“Hold onto ,” Wang Yan said.

Upon hearing Wang Yan, Su Yamo didn’t hesitate, wrapping Wang Yan in a bear hug.

Seeing the typically tough Su Yamo obeying the youth before her, all the police officers couldn’t help but be taken aback.

Just then, Wang Yan casually said, “Alright, then we’re leaving.”

With those words, Wang Yan’s figure flickered and vanished from the spot, reappearing in front of the police officers the next mont.

The officers were so startled that they couldn’t believe Wang Yan’s speed was that fast.

Instinctively, they raised their hands to block Wang Yan.

However, before their hands lifted, they felt a gust of wind whipping past them, causing everything before their eyes to blur. Just monts ago, Wang Yan stood before them, now he had disappeared again.

The gust was so strong it blew their police caps off their heads onto the ground.

Despite their hats on the ground, the police officers simply looked at each other, blinking incredulously at what had just transpired.

anwhile, Su Yamo held Wang Yan tightly, puzzled by why Wang Yan didn’t want her to scream.

Amid her confusion, Wang Yan suddenly moved, his speed so fast that everything around them seed to zoom past, heading behind them in a blur.

The feeling was akin to when Su Yamo rode a roller coaster, her head spinning with dizziness.

“Ah—” Su Yamo couldn’t help but scread.

Hearing this scream, the stunned police officers hurriedly turned their heads, looking backwards.

In their view, a dark shadow swiftly sped forward, gradually disappearing from sight.

All they could hear was a long “Ah” slowly fading away.

Five minutes later.

Wang Yan ca to a stop, standing roadside.

Next to him, Su Yamo clung to Wang Yan tightly, much like a koala clinging to a tree trunk, close and unmoving.

Wang Yan stood like a tree, immobile.

He had let Su Yamo hold onto him to escape danger, but now, having safe distance from the police, Su Yamo continued to cling tightly to him, making Wang Yan quite uncomfortable.

Seeing Su Yamo unwilling to let go, Wang Yan timidly said, “We’re safe now, can you let go?”

Su Yamo stubbornly held Wang Yan, pressing her head deep into his chest while saying, “You scared just now, I need a break.”

To outsiders, Wang Yan and Su Yamo appeared just like a couple deeply in love, attracting playful and good-natured gazes from people passing by.

The more people looked at them, the more Wang Yan felt his cheeks burning. He tried pleading with Su Yamo again, “Isn’t it ti? A lot of people are watching us.”

Su Yamo said cheekily, “Let them look, I just want to hold on a bit longer.”

Utterly helpless, Wang Yan suddenly recalled Catwoman Xiaojie’s thod of dealing with Su Yamo and Tang Jingyi. With a thought in mind, he said calmly, “Actually, it’s not us they’re looking at, it’s more about your clothes.”

Upon hearing this, Su Yamo looked down at herself and widened her eyes in shock, realizing she was still wearing that transparent nurse’s uniform.
