Upon hearing that Wang Yan was going with Su Yamo, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting couldn’t help but change their expressions.
Beiming Xue hurriedly asked, “Brother Wang Yan, did this police officer threaten you? Don’t be afraid, I’ll protect you.”
Ouyang Feiting also glared at Su Yamo and said, “If you dare threaten Brother Wang Yan, the two of us won’t let you off.”
Su Yamo beca complacent and said, “Wang Yan wanted to co with on his own, hehe, Wang Yan, let’s go, ignore them.”
Seeing that Wang Yan was really about to leave, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting truly beca anxious. They tightly held onto Wang Yan, tears welling up in their eyes, about to fall.
Wang Yan was greatly puzzled as to why Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting were tearing up just because he wanted to go solve a murder case with Su Yamo.

Upon hearing Wang Yan’s words, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting understood imdiately, and the tears in their eyes disappeared instantly.
Beiming Xue laughed and said, “So that’s how it is, I thought Brother Wang Yan didn’t want us anymore.”
Ouyang Feiting said, “Since Brother Wang Yan is going, we’ll go with him, so no bad guys take advantage of him.”
Saying this, Ouyang Feiting shot a glare at Su Yamo; the ‘bad guy’ she ntioned was clearly referring to Su Yamo.
Su Yamo snorted angrily, though she didn’t want Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting to co along, she lacked a valid reason. Moreover, she feared Wang Yan would suspect her of being petty.
Thus, the three of them clustered around Wang Yan and headed toward East Street.
Before long, they arrived at East Street and saw countless onlookers gathered beneath an ordinary apartnt building.
The four of them squeezed through the crowd and entered the apartnt building.
As soon as they entered, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting cried out in shock and quickly dared not look ahead.
In one of the rooms facing the apartnt building, a middle-aged man was hanging from the ceiling, swaying slightly. His face was pale, eyes vacant, mouth open, with his tongue hanging out.
Originally, Su Yamo had been looking for a reason to stop Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting from following Wang Yan, but seeing how frightened they were, she was imdiately pleased.
She pulled Wang Yan and said, “Wang Yan, let’s hurry to the cri scene and take a look.”
Wang Yan noticed Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting’s fear, turned around and said, “You two wait for here.”
Despite their fear, seeing Wang Yan enter that room, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting gritted their teeth and followed him in.
Inside the room, nurous police officers were examining the scene. Upon seeing Su Yamo enter, they imdiately saluted her.
A young male officer in the middle of the room saw Su Yamo and smiled slightly, saying, “So Director Su is here too.”
This young officer had a sunny, handso appearance, with short hair that made him look energetic. His eyes were bright, giving him an air of intelligence and prowess.
Upon seeing the young officer, Su Yamo said, “So Captain Zhang Lin is here. If I had known, I wouldn’t have needed to co.”
The man nad Zhang Lin hurriedly said modestly, “Director Su, you’re too kind.”
Despite his modest words, his face showed he was very pleased.
While they were speaking, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting ca inside but didn’t dare look at the corpse hanging from the ceiling, always hiding behind Wang Yan.
Seeing Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting, Zhang Lin’s eyes lit up with a wild gleam, staring intently at them.
Su Yamo didn’t notice Zhang Lin’s expression and pointed at Wang Yan, saying, “This is Wang Yan, our auxiliary officer. Wang Yan, this is our police star, Captain Zhang Lin of the Criminal Investigation Team.”
Zhang Lin repeatedly said, “Oh, I’ve heard so much about you.”
However, while speaking, he didn’t glance at Wang Yan, only stared at Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting.

However, Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting ignored Zhang Lin’s attempt to engage them.
Zhang Lin wasn’t annoyed, he continued standing behind Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting, smiling and saying, “I’m Zhang Lin, the captain of the Wanghai Criminal Investigation Team. If you ever need help, don’t hesitate to find .”
“Of course, it’s best if nothing happens, but if anyone dares to bully you, I can protect you.”

But as Zhang Lin was daydreaming, his face suddenly darkened, because he saw that while Beiming Xue and Ouyang Feiting ignored him, they kept following Wang Yan closely.
No matter where Wang Yan went, they would follow.
Anger surged in Zhang Lin’s heart. He carefully observed Wang Yan, who appeared weak and effeminate, unable to help feeling disdain.
Zhang Lin snorted coldly, wanting to find an opportunity to embarrass Wang Yan.
