"Mr. Wei."

"Good day, Mr. Wei."

"Do you think the president looks quite rosy today?"

"Did you notice it too?"

"Could the president be in love?"

"It sure looks like it. There are quite a few people pursuing our Mr. Wei; a bunch of flowers gets tossed into the trash at the secretary’s office every day. Wonder who’s so impressive to have won our president’s heart."

"I think it must be that Mr. Lu we t last ti."

"Are you talking about the General Manager of Qianyuan Group? It’s quite possible, indeed. That Mr. Lu is famously known as Diamond Bachelor, well into his thirties, wealthy and able-bodied, and has that full-on uncle charm. He’s just too handso."

"Stop daydreaming, will you? Such an uncle is out of your league."

"Hmph, what’s wrong with just dreaming?"

When Wei Lan returned to the president’s office, the secretary also noticed Wei Lan’s glowing complexion, as if the flowers had been rejuvenated after the rain.

"Mr. President, do you have so good news?"

Wei Lan looked at the female secretary, "Do I have good news?"

The female secretary looked at Wei Lan, "Don’t you? Your face is all smiles; I thought sothing good happened."

Wei Lan gave an ’ah’ sound and touched his cheek, "Is it that obvious?"

The female secretary nodded very honestly.

"Was the discussion with Mr. Huang this noon a smooth one?"

Wei Lan took a deep breath, "Yes, the matter went very smoothly. Go get a cup of water, with ice."

After sending the secretary away, Wei Lan turned his chair and fanned himself to cool down, "Bad guy."

Wei Lan touched his chest, an unusual feeling rising in his heart, making it beat even faster.

"May I ask who you’re looking for?"

"I’m here for your president."

"Hey, you can’t go in there." The secretary tried to stop him, but to no avail, as Li Feng walked directly into the president’s office.

"Mr. President, I’m sorry, this guy just barged in. Should I call security?"

"No need, you can leave."

Wei Lan calmly dismissed the secretary and turned to the approaching Li Feng, "Didn’t you leave?"

Wei Lan’s heart fluttered erratically, "This is my office, you know."

Li Feng walked up to the desk and sat on it, looking at the wary Wei Lan, "What, scared I’m going to eat you? You were the one challenging earlier."

Wei Lan rolled his eyes.

"Who’s scared? This is my office, a place for work."

Li Feng chuckled, "A place for work, isn’t that more atmospheric?"

Li Feng flipped over the large desk, perching his feet on the armrests of the boss chair, and looked down at Wei Lan, who was sitting on the boss chair.

Wei Lan, glancing at Li Feng’s posture, looked up with a mix of embarrassnt and annoyance, "Get off, my secretary might co in."

Wei Lan stood up to pull Li Feng down, knowing she wouldn’t be able to explain if he was seen like this.

Li Feng smoothly jumped off the table, wrapped his arm around Wei Lan’s waist, and sat down in the boss chair, pulling a gasping Wei Lan onto his lap.

Wei Lan jumped up like sitting on pins and needles, but was unable to get up with Li Feng holding her small waist, "Please, let save so face."

"Stay still," Li Feng spoke next to Wei Lan’s ear, turning her neck bright red, and she dared not move.

"You just know how to bully ."

"Let’s talk business."

Li Feng began in all seriousness, "Is the plan for splitting up Sihai Group ready?"

Wei Lan rolled her eyes. Is this how he talks about business?

But since Li Feng had asked, Wei Lan collected her wandering thoughts, "It’s quite tricky. Many chunks of Sihai Group are prized cuts that many are eyeing, and these days I’ve been constantly pestered with people knocking on my door, currying favor, and it’s driving insane."

"I can tell. This isn’t a sought-after prize—it’s a hot potato. Whoever you give it to, you’ll end up offending soone."

"Why don’t you take it back then?"

Wei Lan wasn’t complaining but genuinely troubled. After all, Sihai Group had assets worth over a hundred billion, and many of these were top-quality. Everyone wanted a piece.

Moreover, among those eyeing this juicy piece were many with family backgrounds no less prestigious than the Wei Family, which made her job even tougher.

"Is it really that difficult?"

Hearing Li Feng’s downplay, Wei Lan rolled her eyes again, "Not difficult? So on the list you gave are even richer than our Wei Family, none of whom I dare to offend."

"Everyone is angling for the fattest slice, and no matter how it’s divided, soone will be dissatisfied. I’ve been getting a headache over this for days."

"I’m starting to think you’ve played , making the Wei Family take the fall for you—not to ntion robbing of a good night’s sleep, and now you’re trying to push around so more."

"Hmph, you’re the one who’s had it easy."

Li Feng chuckled, "Do you want my help?"

"You help ?" Wei Lan looked at Li Feng incredulously.

"Actually, it’s quite simple."

"Simple, huh? I’d love to hear how. If you can’t explain, don’t think you can take advantage of ," Wei Lan said, her face burning.

"Just distribute it according to your thoughts, and if anyone questions you, just say Li Feng told you so," Li Feng said.

"Is that your bright idea?" Wei Lan fluttered her eyelashes.

"Yes."

Wei Lan snorted through her delicate nose, "Don’t think I wouldn’t dare. What if soone disagrees?"

"If they disagree, then tell them to get lost."

Wei Lan was at a loss for words, but she could tell Li Feng didn’t seem to be joking. Just then, Wei Lan’s phone rang.

She checked the caller ID, "Hello, Gigi, what made you think to call ?"

"Oh, a gathering?"

"Alright, where to?"

"Got it, I’ll be on ti," Wei Lan hung up the phone, frowning.

"Done. How will you thank ?"

"How do you want to thank you? How about devoting myself to you?"

"Get lost. Who needs your devotion? I’ve got my idol. Besides, you’re not falling for Wei Lan, are you? She’s not an easy target, and lately, she’s been on the rise, now the CEO of Qingcheng Fashion, basking in limitless glory."

"Don’t worry about . Besides, having you is enough for my heart, and I’m just fulfilling soone’s request."

"Heh, I’ll believe that when pigs fly. But don’t say I didn’t warn you, don’t ss around at tonight’s party."

"Relax, am I ever unreliable?"

The man finished speaking and sent a ssage on his phone.

"Zidong, it’s set. Wei Lan will co tonight."

"Did you get the person I asked for?"

"All arranged."

Li Zidong gave a cold smile, "Then let’s just wait for a good show."
