Now reading: Chapter 160: Teaching You How to Be a President from Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God, a Romance novel by Yun Yi.

Li Feng looked up at Wang Jin’er, it was clear that this young lady was quite out of touch with the common world, for where there are people, there is a world, let alone the workplace being a battlefield where deception is more than normal.

That inexplicable hostility from Zhou Jie, Li Feng was not mistaken in feeling it; if Zhou Jie did not know sothing or had not been told sothing, how could he have been so full of malice upon their first eting?

Li Feng had heard all those discussions in the office.

He had hardly ward his seat when everyone in the company knew about him; who would believe that no one was sabotaging him behind his back?

Otherwise, being a newcor, who would know him?

Wang Jin’er was not dumb; after blurting out subconsciously, she saw Li Feng’s amused gaze and suddenly ca back to her senses.

Her coming to Myth Communication with Li Feng, this matter couldn’t possibly be hidden from her family; after all, orchestrating such a thing definitely requires people, and the Wang Family had long infiltrated every aspect of the group.

"I’m sorry you were put through this."

Li Feng looked at Wang Jin’er, who seed a bit too kind, "Miss, don’t tell you still think you’re volunteering at a charity, this is a company."

"You are now a president, the president of Myth Communication, do you know what a president is?"

Wang Jin’er blinked, "A president is a CEO, a Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the company’s operations and actions...!"

Li Feng directly waved his hand to interrupt Wang Jin’er’s recitation, stood up, walked over to her, and placed his hands on her shoulders to make her sit down.

"It seems you have a bit of a misunderstanding about the position of president."

"Hmm?"

Wang Jin’er looked at Li Feng, "Isn’t it so? I graduated with a degree in business managent."

"The book isn’t wrong, but, books won’t teach you how to be a president, like just now, you actually said sorry to ."

"Is there sothing wrong with that?" Wang Jin’er blinked, because of her family’s issues, Li Feng was put in an awkward position; she thought, was there a problem with saying sorry?

"Rember, you are the president, the big boss of this company. If the company was a person, you would be the brain; your will is absolute."

"If you can easily say sorry, that shows you are weak, your weakness will make people think you’re easy to bully; how then could you lead and command the company?"

Wang Jin’er blinked twice, "That’s completely different."

"It’s the sa thing, rember, you are now a president, don’t let your emotions dictate you, nor let others’ words sway you; you just need to decide what you want, then go for it, even if it’s wrong, it doesn’t matter, what’s important is that you enforce your will."

"Do you understand?"

Wang Jin’er sort of understood; after a while, she turned to look at the preaching Li Feng, "Are you teaching how to be a president?"

"It sounds like you’ve been a president before."

Li Feng coughed, "That’s not the point, the point is that you are the president now."

Wang Jin nodded, got up from the sofa, and faced Li Feng, "I understand."

"I am the president."

"So you better stand up straight, it’s your first day at work, and you’re already clashing with your superior and upsetting the employer, do you not want to work anymore?"

Li Feng looked at Wang Jin’er who suddenly had a serious expression; there was a bit of a presidential air in her deanor, which was sowhat tempting.

"What are you looking at, I’m asking you sothing, this situation is very severe, now Vice-President Zhou is clearly setting you up, if you can’t handle this incident, then I won’t be able to protect you either."

"Do you understand?"

Li Feng curled his lips, "You look pretty stunning playing president, it makes one want to overthrow you."

Wang Jin’er’s face turned red, and her almond eyes glared at Li Feng as she lifted her high heel to kick at the frivolous Li Feng, "I’m talking seriously."

Li Feng dodged to the side, looking at Wang Jin’er, who was quite the part.

"I will settle it within a day."

"One day? How are you going to manage that? The secretary just inford that Yuan Hua has a broad network and strong connections behind him."

Jin’er was biting her lip, not experienced in handling such matters. The simplest solution would be to use her status and overpower the opposition, as no one could outclass the Wang Family.

But that thod couldn’t be used.

She was supposed to be gaining experience, and Li Feng had even told his father that he wanted a platform to prove his capabilities. If he encountered an unsolvable problem on his first day at work and had to ask his father for help, what would that amount to?

Wasn’t that just slapping his own face?

"I said I’ll handle it, and I will. I must go now since ti is really tight,"

Li Feng left, exiting the CEO’s office.

Li Feng had not anticipated that his father-in-law would also involve Jin’er in Myth Communication, assigning her the role of the president.

That was like giving Li Feng a double assignnt.

He not only had to do well himself but also had to ensure Jin’er could be a qualified president; otherwise, if Jin’er was bullied, wouldn’t that make him appear incompetent?

"Sofia."

"Yes, Master."

"Go onto the dark web and investigate soone for . I’ll send the details to your phone, and wait for further instructions."

Li Feng directly called Sofia.

Sofia was the maid Li Feng had bought from the underground market. Although she was a maid, Sofia was proficient in several languages and skilled in accounting and computers.

Acting as a secretary, she was more than capable.

That Sofia had outsmarted him once, yet he had still opted to purchase her was because he needed soone to handle trivial matters for him.

"Old friend, is your boat still seaworthy?"

"It’s put away; not setting sail anymore. What ti do you think this is?"

"Twenty thousand, to this island."

Li Feng made his offer direct: "If you won’t go, I’ll ask soone else."

"You said twenty thousand; get on board then."

The boat owner agreed promptly as, nowadays, near-shore fishing inco was unstable, and going out to sea was a gamble. Twenty thousand for a short trip was a good deal.

Li Feng sat on the boat going back and forth; he had a native instinct for danger. Yuan Hua gave him an eerie feeling, a relentless ruthlessness in his bones.

Seeing his arrogant manner, clearly, he was habitually reckless.

Li Feng couldn’t guarantee that the man wouldn’t take a desperate, unconventional route.

"Ah!"

Li Feng had just reached halfway up the mountain when he heard a scream. Sothing was wrong; he quickly dashed into the halfway mountain inn.

He skipped the stairs, leaping directly like a monkey onto the second-floor balcony.

"Run? Where do you think you’re running?"

A rough male voice ca from the inn room, and Tong Qian burst from the room onto the balcony, crashing into Li Feng’s arms.

"Ah, let go of !"

Tong Qian, panicking, swung her fingernails at Li Feng, who swiftly caught her wrist.

"It’s , Li Feng."

"Huh?" Tong Qian looked up at Li Feng: "You, you’re with them? Li Feng, I really misjudged you."
