"Li Feng, where are you?"
Li Feng was still at the hotel when Wang Jin’er made the call. He turned and found a less noisy spot.
"I’m still at Century Hotel."
Wang Jin’er took a deep breath upon hearing Li Feng’s reply, "My dad asked to call you. He said he’d like to have a face-to-face ga, and for you to co back as soon as you’re finished."
"Okay, I know."
Having said that, Li Feng hung up directly.
Wang Jin’er listened to the dial tone on her phone, pouted her lips, and Wang Tiandao sat in the study on the tatami and looked at his daughter: "What did he say?"
"He said he knows."
Wang Jin’er walked over to the tatami: "Dad, could Li Feng really take over Century Group?"

Wang Tiandao picked up a chess piece and considered for a mont: "The matter of your engagent should be scheduled soon. We can’t keep dragging it out."
Wang Jin’er had not expected Wang Tiandao to turn the conversation to the engagent, but she was no naive girl shielded from the world, clueless about everything.
Previously, the Li and Wang families had arranged a marriage out of mutual need; the Li family needed the wealth and influence of the Wang family, and the Wang family needed the burgeoning power of the Li family. She was the legitimate daughter of the Wang Family, while Li Feng was born out of wedlock—hence the arranged union with Li Feng proposing marriage.
But now the situation had slightly changed. If Li Feng beca the Sect Leader of Century Group, would he still join the Wang Family as a son-in-law?

Li Feng hung up the phone. Although Wang Jin’er hadn’t said a word, he could still tell that the hotel incident was probably spreading like wildfire throughout Sea City; he was likely to be recognized by many people tonight.

After saying that, Li Feng left and found a car to head straight to the Wang Family.
Knowing the way well, he arrived at Wang Tiandao’s courtyard where the butler stopped at the gate, letting Li Feng enter on his own. As soon as Li Feng stepped through the gate, the butler imdiately closed it behind him.

Upon walking into the study, he saw his father-in-law reclining on the couch, with a small square table beside him properly set with a Go ga board. Wang Jin’er was not in sight, probably having returned to her own room.
"Co up and let’s have a ga."
"Father-in-law is asking to co back so late just to play chess?" Li Feng didn’t hesitate to take off his shoes and join him on the tatami.
The father-in-law directly grabbed a black piece and placed it on the board.
"Is it wrong for to play chess with you?"
"Of course not," Li Feng picked up a white piece and placed it on the board. After that, neither of them spoke, just continuously placing pieces, quickly moving into the middle ga.
"You’re very familiar with Chen Qinian?"
"Not familiar."
Li Feng responded.

Wang Tiandao really underestimated Li Feng, because Li Feng’s previous experiences had nothing to do with managent, let alone that his field of study wasn’t in business managent.
Managing a company is not an easy task. Starting from scratch with your own team might be easier to say, but Century Group had already grown into a behemoth, with a fixed structure established from top to bottom.
Breaking this structure, how easy would that be?
Especially since Li Feng was an outsider, it would be surprising if these people didn’t sideline him.

Wang Tiandao was not without compromise. Marrying into the family was a necessity; the reason he originally took interest in Li Feng was not for Li Feng’s talent or capabilities.

Li Feng suddenly placed a piece, then raised his eyes to Wang Tiandao.

Li Feng chuckled: "Wang Jin’er marrying , and my second son taking the Wang surna, that’s my condition."
