Li Xinyue looked at Li Mingrui’s stern expression with trepidation. The elderly lady beside her snorted, "Xinyue, just speak freely. I’m here to support you. I want to see if he dares to favor that little brute."

Li Mingrui furrowed his brows and before he could respond, the butler, Li Li, appeared in the doorway. Old Lady Li looked up, "Speak if you have sothing to say."
"The spokespersons from the ten major families, Zhu Jianjun, Ye Yan, and Chen Liang, have arrived and are currently in the front hall."
"Ha, see, they have co to make accusations. Go handle that for now. Also, call that little brute back here. I want to ask him what exactly he thinks he’s doing."
The elderly lady slapped the back of her chair in anger.
"Mother, calm down, I’ll go greet the guests first," Li Mingrui said as he turned and walked out of the backyard, followed by Li Li.
"Contact Li Feng. Have that brat co ho."
"Yes, Master."
Li Li didn’t continue to follow, but turned and walked to a secluded place to call Li Feng.
"Boss, who’s calling?"
An Xi glanced curiously at the serious-faced Li Feng.
"Ho."
"Oh?" An Xi blinked, and Li Feng turned to look at An Xi, "I’ll leave you in charge here for a bit. Keep an eye on those few people; I need to step out!"
"Hm? Are you going out alone? Do you want to bring so bodyguards with you?"
"No need."
Li Feng strode toward the passageway, while An Xi pouted and gestured to soone, "Take a few bodyguards with you."
"That might not be a good idea."
An Xi turned her head sharply, "What did you say?"
"Cough, I understand."
Li Feng left the club, drove directly to an alley outside the old Li family estate where security was on duty, barring the unnecessary from entering.
Li Feng stepped out of his car, lit a cigarette, and walked up to the on-duty security guard.
"I need to go to the Li family. Please announce my arrival."
The security guard glanced at Li Feng, "You can go right in."
Li Feng muttered, recalling how he had been stopped last ti and only entered with Uncle Li. He didn’t ask further and walked straight into the alley behind him.
Arriving at the entrance of the Li family, he saw Li Li guarding the door, "Young Master, you’ve finally co back."
"Uncle Li, what’s the matter that you asked to co back for?"
Li Li looked at Li Feng, "You know very well what you’ve done. Don’t you know your own actions? First, co inside with to the backyard. The old lady wants to see you."
"Oh, so Li Xinyue complained to the old lady?"
Li Li grimaced, "If it were just a complaint, it would be bearable. People from the ten major families have also arrived, and they’re currently speaking with the Master. My young master, you’ve really stirred up trouble this ti. Better think about apologizing later."

Old Lady Li commanded in a stern tone. Li Feng crossed the threshold and entered the backyard, his last visit being during the old lady’s seventieth birthday celebration.
"Uncle Li said you wanted to see ." Li Feng didn’t even spare Li Mingyue a glance; he treated Old Lady Li with neither warmth nor coldness, as she had always been harsh and critical toward him.
"Kneel!"
Old Lady Li, upon seeing Li Feng, imdiately bood.
"What, did you not hear tell you to kneel?" The old lady stared at Li Feng, her years of wealth and prestige radiating from her.
Li Xinyue, standing aside, snickered quietly and sneakily watched Li Feng.
Li Feng, you always act so tough. Go on, keep it up and defy your grandmother.
Li Feng furrowed his brow.
Li Xinyue stepped forward, adding fuel to the fire, "Grandmother, see how he disrespects his elders. He doesn’t even listen to your words."
"He doesn’t even consider himself a part of the Li family."
