Now reading: Chapter 83: Young Master Jue from Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God, a Romance novel by Yun Yi.

The noisy pool hall suddenly quieted down.

"Who is it?"

Wang Jue’s icy gaze swept over his pitiful subordinates, which included his brother-in-law.

"Brother-in-law, you must stand up for ."

"Shut up. What exactly happened? Horse Face, you speak."

"Boss."

Supported by soone, Horse Face organized his words, "A friend gave us 200,000 yuan to take down a guy, so we went."

"And you didn’t take him down, but got beaten up like this instead? How many people were there on the other side? Didn’t you guys check before going?"

Wang Jue looked at his disheveled subordinates with a hint of frustration, as his seven or eight n had been beaten down to a pulp, completely embarrassing him.

"Brother-in-law, it was just one man, a freeloader pretty boy."

"One freeloader pretty boy got you seven or eight guys beaten to a pulp?" Wang Jue turned to his brother-in-law. Although he was known to ss things up, Horse Face and the others were seasoned in the criminal world.

"Boss, it was one guy. The client said he was a freeloader pretty boy, also a live-in son-in-law. We didn’t think much. We just took people and went. Turns out we kicked an iron plate."

"A live-in son-in-law?"

Wang Jue’s brows knit slightly—the man who agreed to be a live-in son-in-law indeed matched the description of a freeloader pretty boy, "Do you know what his na is?"

"Li Feng."

Horse Face spoke up.

"Brother-in-law, that bastard was so arrogant. We ntioned your na, but he said, ’Who are you?’ and then even said to go kneel in front of the Outer Heaven hotel by midnight to beg for his forgiveness, or he’ll take you down too."

His brother-in-law added, grinding his teeth.

Wang Jue’s expression darkened, "This is what the other party said?"

"Brother-in-law, it’s absolutely true—every word of it. If you don’t believe , ask everyone; they all heard it. Not only did he say that, but he also kicked Han’s face like kicking a football, proving how arrogant that freeloader pretty boy is, completely disregarding you."

Wang Jue glanced around; Horse Face nodded.

"The guy claims to be Li Feng and indeed said that. Told you to go kneel at Outer Heaven by midnight."

"Li Feng."

Wang Jue furrowed his brow, and Horse Face looked at him, "Boss, I think this guy is also from the underworld, otherwise he wouldn’t be so brazen."

"Not just brazen, daring to tell us, even Young Master Jue to kneel? He really must have the guts of a bear and a leopard."

"Boss." A skinny youth suddenly stepped forward with a frown.

Wang Jue turned his head to look, "Speak up."

"Boss, I just rembered that I’ve heard of the na Crown Prince Li Feng."

"Oh, you’ve heard?"

"Yeah, Huacheng’s Hidden Dragon Li Feng, this guy was sowhat famous in Huacheng two or three years ago."

"Bai Lan, where did you hear that from? How co I’ve never heard of it?"

"It’s probably just a flash in the pan. Didn’t you hear that he’s a live-in son-in-law? Probably just clinging to high branches, freeloading off others. What good is he?"

Inside the pool hall, many echoed in agreent, as new talents always erged in the world. After all, how could they have not heard of soone truly famous who had been washed out two to three years ago?

"Hmph, Young Master Jue, he ntioned being at Outer Heaven, right? Just find him and take him out. Acting tough in front of Young Master Jue, huh."

"Exactly, take him down. Who does he think he is to be so arrogant, just a freeloader pretty boy."

Bai Lan listened indifferently, completely disregarding Crown Prince Li Feng as he glanced at Wang Jue to remind him, "Young Master Jue, that guy alone took down seven or eight of Max’s guys."

"It wasn’t all him fighting; later, he called for backup."

Wang Jue scoffed coldly, "Dare to ss with my people, no matter who he is. Brothers, grab your weapons."

Everyone loitering in the billiard hall responded imdiately, grabbing their weapons and heading out, cramming into cars parked by the roadside.

Outer Heaven Hotel.

Wang Jue and his group drove straight to the front gate, whoosh, the car doors flew open, and the enforcers piled out of the vehicles.

"Young Master Jue, Outer Heaven is the largest five-star hotel in Huacheng, with powerful backing."

Wang Jue, chewing gum, looked toward the glittering grand entrance of Outer Heaven.

"Heh, they think they can compete with my background?"

"Sir, what are you planning to do?" The hotel security, noting the attire of Wang Jue and his n, realized they weren’t there to dine or stay but rather to cause trouble and quickly stepped forward to stop them.

"Get lost!"

Two burly, strong n imdiately grabbed the security guard by the collar and threw him out, then escorted Wang Jue into the grand lobby of Outer Heaven.

Hotel security guards, alerted to the situation, rushed to the lobby to confront Wang Jue and his group, and a senior lobby manager hurried forward to address Wang Jue and his n.

"Gentlen, this is a five-star hotel. You are disrupting our normal business operations. We can call the police."

"Oh wow, the lady’s feisty."

One of the muscular n stepped forward, reached out to flirt with the lobby manager, his face leering. The lobby manager stepped back two paces, looking across fiercely, "You keep this up, and I will call the police."

"Call the police?"

Wang Jue then stepped forward, "Can’t I stay in a hotel, or is this place too big to bully custors?"

"That’s right, we’re here to stay at the hotel, got a problem?"

Wang Jue smirked, pulling out a Diamond Gold Card from his pocket, "You’re not going to tell you want to refuse , right?"

The lobby manager, seeing the card Wang Jue pulled out, her expression subtly changed. Anyone wielding such a card was a major bank client, entitled to top VIP treatnt. Although it wasn’t a hotel mbership card, it still had clout.

After all, owning such a card was a symbol of status and power; ordinary people couldn’t even et the criteria to possess one.

She could refuse a bunch of thugs, but she couldn’t refuse a custor holding a Diamond mber card.

Wang Jue, noticing her hesitation, stepped forward and raised his hand. The lobby manager instinctively stepped back.

"Don’t move."

Wang Jue, seeing the lobby manager stop, grabbed her na badge, "Lobby Manager, Du Qiuyu."

Wang Jue raised his eyes to et hers, stroking her cheek, "Nice na, and pretty too, just my type."

Wang Jue let out a lascivious laugh, gazed at Du Qiuyu possessively, "Spend tonight with , na your price."

"Hey hey, do you guys think the lobby manager will refuse Master Jue?"

"Refuse? No one dares refuse Master Jue."

"Well, there are those who do, but it ends up the sa either way."

Wang Jue’s henchn laughed lewdly behind him, their voices loud, making no attempt to be discreet.

"No, I won’t."

Du Qiuyu would naturally refuse.

"Are you refusing ?" Wang Jue pressed close, grabbing Du Qiuyu by the chin and sneered as he stared at her face, "I’ll give you another chance, na your price."
