"Sealing Jutsu: Tail Locking Seal!"

"Sealing Jutsu: Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

"Kotodama Sealing: Slumber!"

In the north of the Land of Whirlpools, Masahiko unleashed a series of sealing techniques. The newly revived Two-Tails was easily captured by his prepared ambush.

Masahiko sensed the distance and smiled.

"The Hidden Cloud still has the ti to worry about the Two-Tails? How could I possibly leave it for you?" Ignoring the approaching scout ninjas, Masahiko lifted the unconscious Two-Tails and flew back to the Uzumaki clan.

More than a year had passed since the previous battle. The Land of Whirlpools had received a massive influx of supplies and began a period of rapid developnt.

"Developnt is developnt, but it's a pity I don't know where Yuna-kun went. Otherwise, the Land of Whirlpools would be having an industrial revolution by now."

Masahiko had never realized how massive a country's seventy percent revenue was. Originally, he thought that if the Land of Lightning gave too little, he would have to go ask for it personally. To his surprise, the supplies sent by the Land of Lightning astonished him.

If the annual revenue of the Land of Whirlpools was 1, and the annual revenue of Konoha was about 1.5, then seventy percent of the Land of Lightning's revenue was roughly 15.

"Then, what about the even wealthier Land of Fire? Hashirama, Tobirama, and I were truly fooled by that foolishly cute Daimyo back then; the funds we asked for were far too little." Masahiko shook his head with a bitter smile.

Aside from that, the Land of Whirlpools also gained significantly from the Hidden Mist. To ransom the surrendered ninjas, the Daimyo of the Land of Water provided substantial aid to the Hidden Mist. On top of what the Land of Whirlpools demanded, they doubled the amount to establish a non-aggression treaty with the Whirlpool, clearly having heard of the miserable state of the Land of Lightning.

Masahiko accepted this gladly. He had never really thought about seeking revenge; the Uzumaki clan had already profited enough from this war.

Moreover, after reaching a tacit understanding with the Land of Water, Masahiko received another system ssage: Completely changed the Land of Whirlpools Destruction side story. Received 100 Witness Points.

With this, his Witness Points had reached 490, enough to raise any attribute to Level 9. However, he wasn't in a hurry. He feared that suddenly becoming stronger again would make the Sage of Six Paths unable to resist intervening.

"Sensei, you're back!"

Kento-kun's shout brought Masahiko back to reality, realizing he had returned to the Uzunin Village with Matatabi (the Two-Tails) on his shoulder.

Masahiko dropped Matatabi with one hand. The ground shook, but the Two-Tails remained unconscious; struck by his seals, it would likely sleep for several days.

"Sensei, how should we deal with Matatabi?" Izuko-kun stepped forward and asked.

Masahiko hesitated. "You handle it."

Masahiko had no intention of becoming a Jinchuriki. Even if he were to beco one, he would choose the Nine-Tails. As for gathering all nine to beco the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, there was no need to take such a huge risk. He estimated that reaching Level 9 in all attributes would grant him a Kekkei Mōra, which wouldn't be inferior to being the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.

Beside him, Izuko-kun paused. "Sensei, should we have a Two-Tails Jinchuriki?"

Masahiko was startled. "For sothing like this, let the clansn volunteer. If they are willing, you still have to select carefully. Let Nanako-kun perform the seal personally; don't let it go berserk or anything, that would be troubleso."

Izuko-kun nodded. "I understand." She then directed several clansn to drag the Two-Tails away so Nanako-kun could reinforce the seal before it woke up.

Watching the clansn busy themselves, Masahiko said to Izuko-kun, "There isn't much to do here for a while. I'm going to Konoha. Hiruzen-kun has sent letter after letter asking for help. I want to see just how critical their situation really is."

As Masahiko spoke, he laughed at himself.

Through Katsuyu, he could contact Tsunade-kun at any ti. Tsunade-kun had beco a little traitor to Konoha, telling Masahiko everything about the situation there.

Although Konoha was besieged by the Hidden Sand, Hidden Rain, and Hidden Rock simultaneously, they weren't really at a disadvantage—they even held a slight advantage.

"In the original story, Konoha was also besieged like this, but they eventually won. Now Konoha is stronger, and the Hidden Rock even has Kakuzu helping them. Why would they desperately need Uzumaki aid?"

Masahiko chuckled inwardly. In reality, at this point in the original tiline, the Uzumaki clan should have been exterminated, so naturally, Konoha couldn't ask for help. But this ti, since the Uzumaki won completely, Konoha naturally wanted to minimize their own losses as much as possible.

"Hiruzen-kun isn't as honest now that he's Hokage. Did Danzo teach him that?" Masahiko shook his head and took flight toward Konoha.

The Hero of Konoha

The journey was familiar, and in less than an hour, Masahiko arrived near Konoha.

He intended to fly straight in, but hesitated. "If I go directly, won't Hiruzen-kun pretend to be miserable? Better use the Transformation Jutsu to get the truth out of him..."

Masahiko ford seals and transford into Danzo, quickly heading toward Konoha. As far as he knew, Danzo was still fighting the Hidden Sand on the western border of the Land of Fire.

Arriving at the main gate, two gatekeeper ninjas stopped him. "Lord Danzo, why have you returned?" Both looked guarded.

Masahiko didn't think much of it. "I have important matters to discuss with the Third Hokage!"

The two looked at each other. One flickered away, leaving a sentence behind: "I will report to Lord Hokage!"

The other said, "Lord Danzo, I will take you there!"

Masahiko's expression stiffened. He sensed sothing was wrong. Since when did two gatekeepers leave their posts simultaneously? And since when did Danzo need to report to see Hiruzen?

However, Masahiko didn't say anything. he wanted to see what flaw his Level 10 Transformation Jutsu had exposed.

Masahiko followed the gatekeeper, walking step by step. The Konoha villagers who saw him paused slightly, then walked away quickly.

"Danzo's popularity really is poor."

Arriving near the Hokage Building, Masahiko was startled. Dozens of Anbu appeared simultaneously, surrounding him. At the sa ti, Hiruzen appeared before him, dressed in combat gear.

"Who are you? How dare you impersonate an Elder of Konoha!"

Masahiko was stunned. The ninja who led the way thrust a kunai directly at him.

"How dare you impersonate our Hero of Konoha, Lord Danzo!"

Before Masahiko could figure out the situation, he gently pushed the ninja away with repulsive force.

"Danzo is the Hero of Konoha?"

Hiruzen's brow twitched. This familiar ninjutsu gave him an ominous feeling.

"Elder Masahiko?"

"Ah, it's !" Masahiko released the Transformation Jutsu. "What exactly is going on with you people?"

Hiruzen smiled bitterly and waved his hand; the surrounding Anbu quickly dispersed.

"Elder Masahiko, you ca at just the right ti. Please follow ."

Masahiko followed with curiosity. They made several turns and arrived at the Konoha Hospital, entering a special ward.

The person he saw made Masahiko freeze, feeling as if he had returned to his past life (knowledge of the manga). Danzo lay on the hospital bed, eyes closed tight. His right side was wrapped in layers of bandages, and his right eye was covered with gauze. Everything perfectly matched the image of the "Darkness of the Shinobi" from his past life.

"No wonder I was exposed. How did he get injured?" Masahiko asked.

Hiruzen sighed. "It was the Second Kazekage. However, the Second Kazekage has already been slain by Danzo! Danzo's injuries are severe; do you have any way to help?"

Masahiko was stunned, and all his doubts about coming to Konoha were resolved. "So that's it. The Hero of Konoha? Let take a look..."
