[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 138 – Investigation

The incident regarding the attack on my shop had already spread through the city within just one day.

Well, why wouldn't it?

I'm famous and I was straight up attacked in the middle of the day, inside the city, by the guards and the knights who first tried to kidnap and then murder .

So, yea…. Chaos that I this ti did not made.

And I'm still confused who the hell were these people!

I an, "Phantasia" doesn't have any NPC enemies and the only people I pissed off were the asshole players and PK players that went after .

So really, target doesn't make any sense, unless I provoked sobody by accident without even knowing that…...

Or I triggered so sort of story event.

But no quest popped up or anything like that yet.

The quest can be generated by the NPC or by circumstances or via special items or quest posts.

But again, no quest had popped up, so what the fuck?

Well, maybe I will have so answers, since a day has passed and the guards ca to my shop.

"Well…. We confird that none of the people that attacked you were the part of our city guard force, nor any of the knights that should have been in the city. We did a check on every single person that was captured, but none of the people were recognized as the guard nor as the knight." – said the city guard capitan with cat ears.

"Okay. So do you know who they were really then?" – asked Phantasia.

"Well… That is the problematic part…. They escaped?" – replied the guard capitan.

"…. What?"

"Wait, stop. Did you just fuking said, they escaped?!"

"Only 1 day had passed and you had already let them escape?! How?!"

"Please calm down!" – said the guard capitan.

"We don't know the situation either!"

"The walls of the cells they were in had been completely demolished and the guards were knocked out cold before they realized anything!"

"So…. You are saying, that the guards and the knight attacked , were confird to be fakes, but before you could get any other informations, you straight up fuking let them escape from the get go?!" – said visible angry Phantasia.

"DO YOU! Have at least any leads?!"

"Fuck." – said Phantasia after the guard did not give any response to the Phantasia question.

"Regarding the questing, there is really no need to ask …. I don't have any enemies among the people of this world and the only enemies I could possible have were so bandit adventures that I had dealt with."

"Not only that, you can even check and see that I only got to the city recently and even bought my house and opened up this business."

"But, if possible, please capture them instead. IF POSSIBLE."

"We will also strengthen our patrols from now on as well. Including the area where your shop is located."

"…Understand. Thank you for the help." – said the Phantasia.

Monts later, the guard capitan left the store, leaving Phantasia all alone.

(Did by any chance the guards were really working together with those people and instead of escaping, they let out those people?)

Originally kidnapped by the necromancer nad Hegan Bi'bio'ro and tried to force the dwarf into creating the artifact called [Unliving Heart].

Phantasia manipulated the necromancer by pretending to be his ally and helped out in the creation of the [Unliving Heart].

However, as soon as the necromancer let his guard down, he was instantly killed by the Phantasia who then took and put the [Unliving Heart] into his own body as well as had rescued dwarf completely safely, managing to gain the dwarf trust and make him accept Phantasia as his discipline who taught him.

However, in the end, the dwarf was killed by the "Doctor" when he went on the rampage in the Dawn city.

(Is sobody fuking trying to kidnap and force to make so sort of artifact…. Literally, the sa thing that happed to Evilin?!)

(But are they idiots?! Attempting sothing like that in brough daylight?!)

(Well, there are a lot of idiots, no matter where you are, from what country you are or even reality. There are always idiots and even bigger idiots who pulls sothing extrely stupid like THAT!)

(Still, I don't know what could have been the real objective of the people that attacked …. Maybe they wanted my items? My fortune? My skills? Or they just wanted to make a ss?)

(Either way, I have zero fuking clue what the hell is going on and this ti I'm completely innocent…. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkk.)

"I guess I have to look into it myself, since I don't know if I can even trust the guards or knights."

(I should also reinforce my fuking shop defenses and possible have the maiden dolls on the guard duty just in case. They look like humanoid beings, so its safe to use them… Unless sobody destroyers them and see that they are not humans.)

(But seriously…. I didn't wanted any chaos right now in the life of Phantasia… So, what the fuck is going on?)

With little choice I had, I began upgrading my house defenses and security as well as having an upgraded doll maidens now being stationary in the build, in case sobody breaks in.

After that, I closed down my shop for the ti being while I myself began exploring the city.

My first targets were obviously the knights and the guards, since for very obvious reasons.

I tried approaching one of the guards in the city and getting him drunk tired to the point where he would talk easily…. But he didn't had any informations regarding the invaders identity.

However, they found out that the armor and weapon they had were stolen, but nobody knew when or how they were stolen.

And besides that, nothing.

I tried tailing so people, but nothing ca out from it.

I could have beaten up so people for informations, but obviously that is a stupid idea for more than one reason.

I then tried hitting bars, shops, rchants or other players…... BUT FUKING NOTHING!

True.

No city is "Pure" and there are always so rotten bastards here and there, and I even found so people that could be called "Rotten", but there is nothing that would point at them or sothing like leads.

Not only that, but there is also the fact that the bandits that attacked had just "Vanished".

There are bounty posters in the city of these people, but I found nothing.

I even gave a Zeus a favor of a small discount when shopping so stuff from in order to have his guild look a bit, but they also found nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

AND FUKING NOTHING!

What the fuck!?

How the hell there could be ZERO leads or anything like that!

For fuck sake! Did I beca a part of so sort of conspiracy or what?
