[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 153 – Not finished yet – Part 2

After the death of the first princess and the exposure of the cris "Committed" by the first prince and the church have been made public, resulting in quiet huge backlash from the people.

The church itself was already quite weakened after it was losing its power through the years, making it one of the weakest factions in the kingdom.

But after the whole "Second Prince assassination" and the "First Princess assassination" alongside the fact that the pope and the first prince were called the mastermind behind everything alongside the whole fact that everything makes it looks like they did it made…. Oh well, there is no use beating around the bush.

The church of Fang And Glory pretty much is dead.

"Shit! Did anybody seen that fuking old fart?!" – shouted the paladin of the Fand And Glory church known as Marvan.

"No sir! That bastard is nowhere to be seen! We also couldn't find anywhere his close aids!" – said the priest.

"Shit! Shouldn't we run away or sothing?! They think that we are working with the terrorist and there are fuking angry mob after us!" – said scared and nervous priest.

"Do you really think we can escape in this situation?!" – shouted Marvan.

"We. Are. Screwed!"

"All because of that fuking pope and the prince!"

"We cannot escape and the only way we can sohow survive is to capture and give the duke the pope and his fuking minions!"

(That fucker barricaded himself in the main building and as soon as we broke in, we saw no sight of him or his minions! Where the fuck is he?!) – though Marvan.

"Sir Marvan!" – shouted the paladin as he rushed towards the Marvan.

"We checked that bastard room! And its empty!"

"It look like he had so sort of hidden safe as well. When we found it, it was opened up already and there was nothing inside."

"Not only that, we couldn't find even a single golden coin anywhere!"

"That fucker took everything valuable and straight up ran away by the look of things!"

"?!"

"Shit! I fuking knew it!" – said Marvan.

"After making that entire ss, he straight up refuses to- "

Suddenly, sobody burst into the church through the main door, alarming the scared paladins and making them instantly draw their blades, but quickly calm down upon realizing that the one who burseted into the church was another ex-paladin of the Fang And Glory church.

"Oh. Its you." – said Marvan.

"You fuking scared- "

"THE PRINCE IS DEAD!" – shouted the ex-paladin.

"…"

"What?" – said Marvan.

"I said the fuking prince is dead!"

Out a blue, the first prince, the so called "Traitor of the Berior kingdom" was assassinated.

People believed that it was doing of the of the duke Magan, but upon investigation it was discovered that the one who did that was non other than the Doctor.

"…."

"So…. You are saying that the one who did it was the Doctor?" – asked duke Magan as he and several nobles as well as the knights were interrogating butlers and maids that had originally worked in the first prince mansion where the prince was murdered.

"Y-yes." – said the nervous butler.

"H-he said that he had caused provocation about the people of the city, causing them to beca a mob that rushed towards the main gate of the prince mansion, causing the knights that were still loyal to the prince to get out and try to calm down the mob."

"However, while that was happening, the Doctor burseted into the mansion from the back…. And for so reason he didn't killed us?"

"H-he said that he won't kill us, unless we attack him or not fallow his orders."

"H-he said that once he kills the prince, he will leave us alone."

"W-we got scared and fallowed his orders and l-let him to the prince room."

"And he entered the room, killed the prince and then just left you alive just how he said?" – asked noble who wasn't buying the story.

"Please stop." – said duke Magan to the nobleman.

"I want to hear the rest of their story."

"…"

"Please continue."

"Y-yes." – said nervous and scared maid.

"A-after we led the Doctor to the prince, he and the prince began talking about stuff."

"P-prince asked the Doctor why he was doing it all to him."

"?"

"Wait, did you said "Doing it all to him"?" – said the confused noblewoman.

"Are you saying that the Doctor wasn't working for the prince?!"

The nobles and the knight got suddenly very confusion upon hearing that to the point the entire room was filled with whispers until duke Magan silenced them all.

"Explain." – said duke Magan.

"…."

"A-according to the Doctor, he was working for the pope of the Fang And Glory church."

"Apparently, he and the pope had a contract where the Doctor has to fallow all the orders of the pope."

"And apparently…. All of the attacks that had happened…. Was the pope doing all along."

"Wait, stop." – said the annoyed noble who was still not buying the story told.

"You are saying he straight up admitted to his cris right in front of the prince, I get that since he killed him, but what about you?! Why didn't he killed you all after you had found out about the secret?!"

Duke Magan raised his hand again, silencing the annoyed noble.

"…."

"He is right." – said duke Magan.

"Why didn't he killed you?"

"The Doctor doesn't care how many people he kills, so why the hell cares now of all the ti about rcy and stuff?"

"T-that is because the pope betrayed the Doctor." – said the butler who nervously spoke up.

"He said that the pope plan was to eliminate the entire royal family and bla it on the first prince, but because of the stupid pope plan, they straight up got exposed like idiots."

"He said that they originally planned on "Capturing" the Doctor and making himself look like the hero… But the way he said it and explained it was hinting at the fact that it was an made up story."

"H-however, apparently the pope betrayed the Doctor after he tried to capture him for real and make himself look innocent."

"But the Doctor foiled his plans and not only that, the pope broke the contract."

"And according to the Doctor, he killed only the prince because he was his employer without knowing that."

"…."

"Wait." – said duke Magan.

"So, you are saying, that the Doctor is right now hunting the pope?"

"Y-yes… According to him." – said the duke.

"He warned us that he won't kill anybody else, unless they got in his way and that he will hunt down the pope before then leaving the mansion."

"…..."

The nobles were completely confused by the story told by the maids and butlers.

So said the story made sense, while the other said that they were lying.

*Sigh*

(Things just got chaotic….) – though the duke Magan who was visible ntally exhausted.

(Was the Doctor really working for the pope of the Fang And Glory church?)

(We know that the they were illegally trading slaves, but we didn't found even a single trace yet of anything like illegal slavery in the kingdom.)

(Not only that, the letter that the princess n originally found said about "Prince" giving the order.)

(But the first prince wasn't the employer of the Doctor?! Then who the hell is the "Prince" that was ntioned in the letter?)

(The letter we have obtained suggest that the Doctor is working with so sort of organization…... We suspected that the organization was working with first prince faction and were borrowing the Doctor for their cris…. But now with that kind of informations?)

(If the Doctor was really working for the pope instead of the first prince, then who the hell was the "Prince" in the Doctor letters?!)

(Is it like a code na? Like how we don't know who the Doctor is, but he introduces himself as the "Doctor"? If so, is the "Prince" the mber of his organization as well?)

(Or… Maybe a prince refers to a prince of so kingdom?! But not ours?!)

"Find the pope." – said duke.

"FIND HIM AND BRING HIM ALIVE!"

"D-duke Magan?" – asked confused noble.

"Shut up." – said duke Magan.

"If their story is correct, then that ans that the mastermind behind everything was pope."

"And if that is true, then he had gained more than one reason to get tortured and hanged."

"But that doesn't change the fact that the pope wasn't working alone according to our informations and we also know about the Doctor."

"He may have been under so sort of contract, making him work for the pope until that idiot broke it."

"But that doesn't change the fact that the Doctor straight up committed countless heinous acts."

"If that is the case then we need the pope alive and extract any informations he has regarding the Doctor and the organization that the Doctor is working for."

"Find the pope and arrest him."

"But most importantly, protect him from the Doctor."

"If the Doctor kills that bastards, then any leads or informations that bastard pope could have would straight up disappear."

"Find that bastard and protect him from the Doctor!"
