[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 156 – Meeting up with Shadow Mask

Soti went by and surprisingly, the Berior kingdom situation had cald down way faster than I had expected?

I though there would be… I don't know…. Way more chaos?

I guess its all thanks to the duke Magan… Or should I say king Magan? I heard so rumors about him being possible crowned or sothing as a new king, but the decision has yet to be made.

But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he was indeed crowned as the king, considering how well he handled the whole chaos stuff.

There is also the thing regarding the whole only murdering the pope and royal family. I didn't went after any other high ranking figures with position of power, resulting in even bigger chaos, unlike how I did in Agion kingdom where I went after everybody high ranking.

Oh well, it's good.

My goal was to murder, but not have Berior kingdom be destroyed.

So, yea… I won.

Anyway, the situation have cald down sowhat in the Berior kingdom, but while it was still chaotic, I spread so rumors here and there while also using the "Eyewitness" from the bar and mansion to spread lies for myself.

The church is good as forever gone and any new attempts to establish religion in here will be et with failure.

But there is still a chance… A small one, but still a chance.

Oh well, I don't care. I'm done with this kingdom anyway.

After the ti went and the kingdom had stabilized sowhat, I had reopened my business in large city where I began selling a lot of my stuff, I had made beforehand.

I didn't opened up a shop or anything, just a stall was enough.

The reason why I did that? Simple. Attention.

"They" said that they will contact and that the quest give will contact soon.

So, I will just appear here and just wait.

And while just binding my ti in so nearby bar, sobody slipped a piece of paper.

After receiving the order to et up, I went to the location written in the piece of paper and found myself in the Wolf city.

It has been quiet so ti since I last ti, I set my foot in this place and I wasn't expecting to return here.

Anyway, the location written on the paper was inside the city, specifically in so bar.

(According to the address, this is the place.) – though Phantasia as he held a piece of paper and looked at sowhat well-made bar.

(Huh…. I though it would be so sort of abandoned building or maybe so luxuries "Evil" building, but nope? It looks your typical good bar.)

Phantasia approached the bar and opened its door, entering the building.

Upon entering the building, he did not found anything out of place.

It was a simple bar where people just drinked or ate.

So people talked, while so people yelled at each other.

(Huh… Inside is also normal?)

("Approach the bar owner.") – though Phantasia as he walked towards the bar counter while rembering what was written on the paper.

"What can I get for you sir?" – asked bartended.

"Snake eyes." – said Phantasia as he put his hands together on the table and with his hands ford a pyramid shape.

"You an the berry or cheery?" – asked bartender.

"Apple." – said Phantasia.

"Apple?"

"Hm…."

"Hey Ange!" – shouted bartender to the female cat beastman waitress.

"Hm? Yes boss?" -said cat beastman as she approaches.

"Its regarding the wine delivery." – said barman.

"I can't go right now, so just go with him and talk with him regarding the paynt."

"About a god damd ti! For crying out loud, do you realize how much wine we recently sold?" – said waitress as she lifted up bar top and walked behind the counter.

"Common. I want to have it over with already."

Phantasia fallowed the waitresses behind the counter, before then crossing the door that led to the back parts of the bar and then instantly turned right where the staff room was located.

However, she went past the staff room and even the storage room and headed towards the wall at the very end of the corridor.

She got on her knees before then pressing down two wooden planks that were on opposites sides of walls and monts later, so of the wooden planks began moving away, revealing a hidden staircase.

"Fallow ." – said waitress with more serious voice unlike before when she was speaking with very cheerful voice.

"…As you wish." – said Phantasia as he put on his Doctor mask.

Doctor began fallowing the waitress through the staircase and as he descended, the wooden planks that were covering the exit began moving on their own, closing up the entrance.

After soti passed, the two of them managed to reach the end of the staircase and found themselves in so sort of dungeon.

"Ah. You here." – said the familiar voice that erged from the shadows.

"I see you received my ssenge successfully, Doctor." – said Shadow Mask that just erged from the shadows.

"Hey Shadow Mask. I did what you asked to." – said Doctor.

"Yeb."

"I'm fully aware of what you did." – said Shadow Mask.

"Co. We have a lot to talk about."

Phantasia began fallowing the Shadow Mask through the underground dungeon.

"…."

"So…. When the hell did you build all this? Did you planned on dealing with Berior kingdom on your own?" – asked Doctor while looking around and noticing that the underground dungeon had multiple paths.

"Well, yea." – replied Shadow Mask.

"Honestly, the original plan was manipulate the second prince into becoming the king, but also making sure to completely ruin his image so that nobody would mind him getting killed.

"But then you appeared and straight up did all our work for us."

"Honestly, I was expecting you to fail."

"Or did sobody helped you by any chance?"

"Who knows?" – replied Doctor.

"But you do rember that you need to pay no matter what and also explain how this organization works, right?"

"Beside eliminating the royal family and the church, I also manipulated things with false informations and rumors, making it look like the people that were behind everything were not really the Doctor, but the Fang And Glory church."

"Not only that, I made it look like the Fang And Glory church were really just an puppets of so different religion and that they took over the Fang And Glory church, corrupting it and using them to use their nefarious deeds."

"With that, the Berior kingdom will have way harder ti trusting any religions, since any of them could be possible the ones who really controlled Fang And Glory church and they could also be wary considering how "Corrupted" religion can be."

"You want to people to hate religion, right? Then I did that job here as well beside the assassination."

"Huh… Well, I did suspected the whole situation and rumors to be your doing, but you bastard really did it, huh?" – said Shadow Mask.

"You removed any corruption of the invaders as well as made people aware how dangerous those religions can be…. Nice." – said Shadow Mask before approaching the reinforced door and opening it.

"Anyway, we are here."

"This isn't so sort of a trap?" – asked Doctor who was on guard.

"Nope. Its just sound proof room." – said Shadow Mask before entering the room and leaving the door right opened.

After entering the room. Shadow Mask took out a glass bottle and then smashed it against the ground, but no sound were made.

"See?" – said Shadow Mask after leaving the room.

"This room can only be used to held private talk or use the special tool magic tool for long range communications without having so third party listening outside the room."

"Did I gained your trust? If not, you can even take out weapon if you like."

"Fine." - said Doctor before entering the room and then having the door being closed by the Shadow Mask who also entered the room.

In the middle of the room was a big table alongside the three chairs and so sort of screen like device on the wall.

(TV?) – though Phantasia as he noticed the weird object.

"Sit and let's talk." – said Shadow Mask.

Both Doctor and Shadow Mask sit right next to the table.

"Well then…. First thing first."

"Your reward, correct?"

"Honestly, the whole stuff you did was way better that I had originally expected."

"You kept damage to minimum."

"You have only aid for the royal family and the church."

"And not only that, you straight up made the entire Berior kingdom possible hate and straight up attack any religions that tries to influence this kingdom."

(I an the quest difficulty was unknown and more I tried the harder the difficulty would end up becoming, but holy shit. 3 classes?)

(Not only that, but I didn't heard anything about theses classes before…. And not only this, but the fuking amount of money in here! I did expected a lot, but this is like… 2, 3 or maybe even 4 tis amount of money I expected?!)

(Hell! I could easily buy another epic rarity class book if not unique one! Or maybe buy a lot of special materials!)

(I don't know they knew it, but I liked money reward more than so sort of weapons or armor items they would give !)
