(The power output… Isn't so great as I hoped it to be. Even with equipoising them with [intelligent] stat boosting items…. The power output is far from satisfying.)

(I guess that is why they went with numbers over quality when it ca to the mage homologues and why they wanted my magic guns.)

(I can create an stronger magic casting homunculus, but that will require higher quality materials and upgrade to the homunculus hear maker as well as homunculus birthing pod.)

(But everything will cost a lot of money….Both the machines and the materials needed to create an homunculus.)

(When it cos to the fire power between the doll maiden and mage homunculus, here are the differences.)

(The homunculus mage can use spells from the mage classes, while doll maiden specializes in the magic format.)

(Unlike spells, the magic format is sothing that is used by the items.)

(For example my magic guns could be called sothing like the magic format, since I'm not firing spells from them but instead an magic energy in the form I shaped it in.)

(I can make the doll maiden fire sothing like fire breath attack from their palms or an concentrated blast of fire. This isn't just doll maidens, I can give all my nightmare toys those kind of abilities.)

(However, is it possible to fuse these two things together?)

(Could I use the spell format to possible enchant the spells or maybe mutate them?)

(There are items out there that has modification effect on so of the specific spells.)

(Like for example [Staff Of Burning Goblin], it has an effect that cause the [Fire Ball] skill spell to inflict burn status to the hit targets.)

(So with that in mind, can I create an homunculus slash maiden doll hybrid that would be able to use special attacks or modified spells?)

(I can possibly fuse it with the maiden doll core, in theory that is… But the problem is with the homunculus fire power.)

(Honestly, I won't be lying here. My magic damage dealing nightmare toys are stronger when it cos to fire output. Take for example the dino toy. It can breathe fire, an simple attack, but it has more power than homunculus.)

(It is possible to increase the homunculus fire power and have it be able to use stronger spells… But like the nightmare toys, the homunculus elent depends on their cores.)

(Even if the experints may fail giving an intelligent monster, it may still give so strong nightmare toy instead.)

(So, it's better if I don't ss it up.)

(However the question how do I do it?)

(Do I make the body parts of the doll maiden that each provides different modifications?)

(Or maybe I could make multiple cores for both homunculus and doll maidens?)

"No… No… First thing first. I need to see if its even possible to even fuse the two together."

Before trying out creating hybrid that is overpowered, I first need to see if its even possible to fuse the two.

The first few attempts ended up in failure with the problem being the homunculus. I need to have the body to be created at the specific stage where its still "Not alive" and is only an object.

It took few tried, but I managed to create the hybrid that I called the [Doll Figure].

"Hm…. So far it looks like normal human." – said Phantasia as he inspected the arm of the female creation.

(Its not rough body like the doll maiden…. Its human like skin in touch.)

The female monster transford it human looking arm into monster like in appearance, turning in chanical with giant claws.

"Attack." – said Phantasia as he pointed at the tallic target dummy before monts later the monster approached dummy and slashed it with its claws.

(The claws are okay…. And even after hitting the tallic dummy, they did not get destroyed… But there is so damage. I made the blade weak so it would get easily damaged and destroyed in order to test out sothing.)

"Drink this." – said Phantasia as he gave potion to the monster who then drank it as Phantasia observed the chipped blades restoring itself.

(It's the sa. It has the sa principal as my cyborg modification. Healing effects affect the tallic body, even though it shouldn't had worked.)

(Healing magic and potions does not work on the golems, but it does work on cyborg like myself… So that confirms it. The doll figure is classified as an cyborg.)

"Can you solve this?" – asked Phantasia as he put down the piece of paper on the table near him with an two apples.

"How many apples are on this piece of paper?"

The homunculus showed two fingers.

"With one of the pieces of papers I'm holding is red?"

Homunculus pointed at the red paper.

(Okay. It has basic level intelligent of the homunculus by the look of things.)

(But now cos the next part….. When I was making the modification to this creature an option showed up.)

"Tell . With one of these you find more interesting?" – said Phantasia while holding an stuffed dog toy and stuffed cat toy.

(This is the real test. Consciousness.)

(If this thing has an mind, then it can sowhat feel emotions unlike the homunculus used by the church.)

(If it can feel emotions, then it ans that it can think on its own.)

(I didn't gave it an chose specific target, but instead I gave this creature an option of "CHOOSING".)

The woman reached forward, grabbing the cat stuffed toy.

"Why did you chose this one?" – asked Phantasia.

"Did it made you interested? Or did you find it attractive?"

"Unable to answer." – replied the creature.

"Why unable?" – asked Phantasia while smiling.

"…. Don't know." – replied the woman while looking at the doll it now held in its hands.

"Then what about this?" - asked Phantasia, causing the creature to look at him, only to see the giant claws right in front of its face, causing the creature eyes to open wide.

"You were scared, weren't you?!" – said excited Phantasia as he stared at the monster face that did not changed at all… Expect for its eyes that had visible reacted to the attack.

(It can feel emotions, but its unable to understand it….. An baby level of consciousness?)

After finding this monster sowhat interesting, I continued my tests…. And found out that this thing is failure.

It has no consciousness and could only sowhat react…. As if instincts?

Still, this is an HUGE PROGRESS.

Even though this creature was an failure, I was able to create instincts and dormant emotions.

So creations showed no progress, while so others showed so new things.

The creation knew about the danger and dodged the attack. It could tell the danger.

Failure, but also progress. Too wild. Too animalistic…. However, it was able to uses its senses way better.

Creating the second core that works in the place of brain was an horrible idea. The body was distorted and unable to do anything. Not even able to perform simple commands.

Able to conduct simple multiple tasks if given an docunt containing the tasks.

Sights showing an interests in the cats, fallowing the toy cats without getting ordered to. It did sothing without being asked to do sothing! It did sothing on its own!

I killed the toy monster that the creature showed interest in and noticed its reaction.

It was anger! It not only felt the anger but understood it!

And one of the most important things it needs is the monster core, an magic crystal that can be found in the monsters!

Sothing that has characters and nature of the being, including their senses!

The magic crystals is an formation of energy that crystalized within the being body, but its not like they contain the being soul…. However, these crystals reflect their powers and nature and when being dies, these crystals end up absorbing an good amount of the living being energy.

However, these crystals are organs…. So, by any chance to create an intelligent homunculus, you need to use the living beings?
