The church would definitely try to reclaim this place as soon as possible, since having the kingdom be in passion of this place would put the church in bad position.

And just as we expected, the church has send an large army straight towards the city.

So of the kingdom troops managed to arrive to our location, but not all of them in ti as the church army had finally arrived.

"Wow…. You weren't kidding… They are really desperate if they send that many soldiers here." – said Thanatos while using the binoculars to look at the large army approaching the city.

"According to the intel, they are war beasts…. However, according to the kingdom, the church should had not had any of them at the mont, aning that they must had only recently summoned them."

"But an holy beast and the huge army together? Are they that much desperate to take back this place?" – asked Thanatos.

Few monts later, the forces of the church had arrived near the city and as soon as they did, the battle instantly started.

The forces of the church began instantly rushing towards the walls while the siege weapons began firing the boulders at the city walls.

The vampires aid with their strange cannons and fired them, causing not an cannon balls to get fired, but instated rockets that flew straight at the incoming boulders and blew them up before they could reach anywhere near the city walls.

"The hell?!" – said the confused knight.

"Hey! What the hell happened?!" – shouted the knight at the man with the telescope.

"Well, it seems that sothing flew from the top of the walls and collided with the boulders before exploding." – said the man with the telescope.

"Well, what ever they did, they must have so limited ammunition, continue the bombardnt! Now!"

"You heard him! Prepare the next boulders!" – shouted the soldier that rushed towards the trebuchet operators.

The siege operators began using the giant lizard like beast to quickly load the next boulder onto the siege weapons, quickly reloading all of the siege weapons.

(What was that?) – though the soldier as he looked up upon hearing weird noise, only to see the bombs falling down from the skies, hitting and completely devastating the siege weapons as well as all the soldiers near them.
