With the siege battle as distraction, the elite force of the organization had managed to slip past the church line of the defense and had managed to travel though the enemy territory unbothered.

"Another abandoned village." – said vampire soldier as the group had managed to arrive at the settlent.

"Huh…. Did they…. I an, I would expect so woman and children's…. But isn't this bit off?" – asked Hunter while looking around.

"Yea. This is bit weird." – said vampire knight Koran.

(It doesn't look like the village was abandoned for the safety reason either…. Honestly this place looks scavenged.)

"Hey! I found sothing!" – shouted Doctor from sowhere.

"You need to see this!"

Few monts later the group gathered up around the giant pit that was filled up with corpse.

"Ugh?! The hell is this?" – said Hunter as she walked away from the unpleasant sll.

"Corpse pit. You throw corpse in here… But these corpse don't appear to be soldiers…. They are mostly woman." – said the vampire knight.

"This isn't all. The pit hole was made very recently…. I also looked around and found out that so houses were missing any sort supplies."

"Wait… So, the village was robbed?" – asked confused Hunter.

"Yes… But not by the bandits. The only ones who could do that and recently could be only the church."

"Wait, you are saying that the church did that? Why would they- "

"Supplies and soldiers." – said the vampire knight, cutting off his soldier mid speech.

"Any people that could work as soldiers were forced to join the army, while all supplies of the villages were seized…. And to make sure there won't be any useless mouth to feed, they slaughtered the civilians."

Shit." – said Hunter while grabbing her head.

"Wait, so if that is the case… Then settlents from before….. Wow…. These… These bastards had really lost their mind, did they not?" – said disturbed Hunter.

"But wouldn't… I an, those soldiers were civilians, but wouldn't they still revolt?!"

"Well, they definitely would…. IF! They knew what happened to their hos." – said Doctor.

"They may had ca and recruited civilians, before then coming back here with so loyal soldiers and wiping it out, stealing all and any supplies they could find."

"These guys care only about themselves and for anybody that isn't part of their little fanatic religion…. Well, as you can see, this what they are doing to them. Sa thing happened to the Rose Tower and the kingdom it was in."

"How the hell they can act like this?"

"Well, these bastards are both fanatics and power hungry parasites. There is also the goodness herself that is commanding these guys as well, proving that she is no good as well." – replied Doctor.

"I guess the church plan was to either fake the whole death of the village by blaming kingdom or they just wanted to kill all of the "NON BELIVERS" after the war had ended."

"These guys are dangerous and unstable. You can call them bombs…. So, we will be doing everybody an favor by destroy dismantling these unstable bombs."

"Yes. We need to deal with them before they would really blow themselves and everything around them, including us to smithereens." – said the vampire knight.

After finding out multiple ravaged settlents by the church, the vampire elite force alongside Doctor and Hunter had traveled in secret though the church territory without getting founded out.

And after a lot of ti had passed, the group had finally managed to reach the territory where the main base of the church was located.

"I'm back." – said Hunter as she erged from the shadows, joining up with the group waiting in the forest.

"And? How is the situation?" – asked the vampire knight.

"Heavy fortification as we suspected." – replied Hunter.

"Not only that, but its not visible from here… However, according to the information, one of the divine beast are present in the city."

"There is also an huge number of soldier stationing through the whole city."

"All gates are heavily fortified and there seems to be multiple alarm bells spread out through the city."

"If we enter the city, the alarm will be instantly be raised the mont we force our way through."

"What about the citizens of the city?" – asked Doctor.

"Are there any people going in and out of the city?"

"Only soldiers, but by the look of things they are through with their search, so wearing the church armor won't do." – replied Hunter.

"Hm…. So, the entire city is heavy guarded, eh?" – said the vampire knight.

"Should we go with so sort of distraction? We can summon undeads or demons." – suggested vampire noble.

"But can we? I an, if Hunter report is true, then wouldn't these guys do wide range search around and inside the city?" – replied Doctor.

"Too risky…. It could buy us ti, but it could also put us in danger."

"Then what do you suggest?" – asked annoyed noble.

"I don't know. We need to analyze the situation more." – replied Doctor.

"Its true that this army consist of the strongest vampires and we have even the summoning haloes, allowing us to summon the enslaved demons and angels to our side."

"We can try to break through direct and in theory we should be able to do it."

"True. We have enough strength to engage in the head on confrontation, but the problem is that this is the main church. These guys can summon probably angels to their side and there is also the divine beast." – said the vampire knight.

"It would be for the best if we managed to sohow weaken the enemy force with initial attack or sohow take down the divine beast from get go, so it wouldn't provide the blessings."

"Hunter. Do you know where exactly the divine beast is?"

"Yes. Its resting in the main chapel." – replied Hunter.

"Hm… So, in the middle of the enemy territory…Specifically in the middle of the enemy heart." – said the vampire knight.

(Honestly, the best bet would be for to use the plague, causing it to spread around the city.) – though Phantasia.

(True. These guys could easily get rid of the plague, but it would cause an short chaos that would create an window of opportunity for us.)

"Hm…. An way to either kill a lot of church soldiers or kill the divine beast from get go…." – said Doctor.

"I could maybe kill that bird quickly, IF I sohow managed to get into the city unnoticed."

"However, the problem is with getting into the city."

"If we are exposed, the bird will instantly take flight and taking that thing down wile flying would make things difficult."

"…. Thanatos. Can you sohow take inside your shadow or sothing like this?"

"No. I can't do that." – replied Thanatos.

"Tch. Damn." – replied Doctor.

"Hm…. At this rate we will have to go with the head on approach… But speaking plainly, that bird will be extrely annoying and the soldiers that are blessed by it will be annoying."

"This is also the enemy main base, so I think that bird will be able to go full power in here."

"So, you are suggesting that we should above else kill the divine beast, yes?" – asked the vampire knight.

"That would be the best case scenario." – replied Doctor.

"Once the bird are knocked down, they are easy targets, but they need to be killed quickly before they regenerate enough to the point it can fly again."

"But wait, weren't you able to jump really high and get to that bird?" – asked Hunter.

"It was jetpack booster. It can give an boost, but the problem is that I cannot change the direction in with I'm going, nor I can do this thing repeatable." – replied Doctor.

"So, yea, I can't."

"If I had so place where I can jump off, sowhere near that bird, I will be able to reach it.. However, this bird cannot be flying at full speed."

"Hm…. Then this is indeed annoying." – said vampire knight.
