[VRMMO] Dead One Chapter 239 - 240 – Trying to find perfect location

The news about the destruction of the port city spread quiet far and wide.

People went and checked the current state of the city, but all they saw was the destroyed buildings and zombies going around alongside so manmade monsters like golems or puppets.

People tried going to the city to reclaim it, but the zombies were bit high level and many low level players their kind of just died.

The empire will probably try to investigate what happened, but that is all a smoke screen.

The destroyed city mystery as well as roaming monsters will confuse people and while they do, we will just go around silently without anybody noticing.

Our current goal: Find a base or make one.

Before we can even make a proper war declaration against the empire and finally show the world that we are villains, we need a base of operation.

Not a temporarily one but a proper base.

However, we are right now in the enemy territory right now, so finding a base will be challenging.

We have 3 options, but we decided and try to with option two with is find a suitable location where the empire wouldn't know we are there or have no access to that location at all.

One of the things that ca up to our mind is to form our base in high level hunting grounds.

But we are not sure if that will work.

So, it would be an idea if we found a location that would be to be either hard to find or hard to access.

We thought about making an underground base like fanatics, but we still would need a safe location for us to build it.

However, we cannot go from settlent to settlent since our guild races are not from this parts AND , Shri, Oron, Blueberry, Rampage and GreyHunt are quiet famous players right now and I'm straight up a freckling kaiju!

That lich said that my dragonic race influenced the transformation and caused the mutation.

It made much bigger and stronger in a way, but the most notable things are my wings and tail.

These wings are way better at flying that my previous ones and my freckling tail is straight up a weapon.

So, yea, that mutation did changed a lot.

However, people may not recognize , considering how much my appearance has changed and nobody knows that I turned into the lich expect for the demon lord and her loyalists.

But still I'm sticking like a sour thumb with my current appearance…... Yea… I need to hide all the ti.

GreyHunt and Oron have so infiltration skills that allows them to infatuate the settlents to gather so info.

Right now, we are at the eastern part of the empire and oh boy, this empire is much bigger than we though. GreyHunt managed to get a map of the empire and yeb, it was big.

It was a biggest country we have visited so far.

So, yea…... Fuck.

We have only faced portion of the empire forces, but if the empire and the demonic kingdom were at the sa continent and were neighbors, we wouldn't have stood any chance at all.

Still, considering the current state of the empire with the four children of the emperor fighting for the throne, the situation is bit chaotic and maybe there are less control here and there.

There is also the fact that nobody knows about our existence in this place nor nobody knows the fact that we left our previous continent.

So, our existence is still hidden pretty well.

But the question still remains: Where do we get our base?

Should we make ourselves base as we planned? Or hope to find an ally to support us?

For so people that may have forgotten, we have a lot of demi human monsters related titles that boost our starting favorability with them, aning that we may make so allies with an monsters tribes.

However, if possible, it's better if we maybe sohow recruit them instead of becoming an allies.

I don't want to attack so random monsters tribes since they may beco our allies in the future and all.

But obviously, a small monster tribes cannot work with us yet, since they would probably not provide us with a huge base or anything like that.

And as for allying ourselves with the hostile kingdom…. This is out of the window from get go from many reasons.

Our presence alone in another kingdom AND the fact that the empire may know about it may end up provoking the empire and that is obviously bad for us.

So right now, we don't have 3 options, but instead 1 or maybe 2 if we are lucky to find the ally that can hide us and provide us with big base. But that option is very unlikely, aning we would need to focus on our current plan of finding a location where we can start making our own base.

But again: WHERE?!

Finding a weak spot of the empire, an empire that was living for many years and rulled these lands would be extrely difficult.

The underground facility does sound like our best option, but that alone won't work.

We need a lot of territory over ground as well, like a small castle for the defense, but nothing too grand or anything.

Not only that, the base creation will use both the resources and ti to make, aning that we will have to raid settlents for stuff.

However, before we can even start raiding, we need to have and safe base for ourselves.

We didn't find anything yet, so we just continue traveling without anybody finding about us.

Honestly speaking right now, we decided to try and find the base that is not either close to the mayor settlent OR a sea.

Why?

Well, if we are near mayor settlent we may end up being discovered.

As for the sea? Well, we did committed the cris there and people may start doing inspection near that area, so yea, no.

Days went by and still no results.

We weren't discovered yet, but already a lot of ti had passed.

We had already traveled quiet a distance using our monsters as ans of travel.

So, we-

"Boss." – said the Catfolk player.

"…Yes?" – replied ClownFrog.

"Em…How long do we need to travel?" – asked the Catfolk player.

"…I don't know."

"We are using our spies and scouts to look around in the cities for the informations, but so far they didn't gotten anything big or good enough." – said annoyed ClownFrog.

"This empire…. Is well better maintained than I had though."

"The ti inside the ga is speed up by 3 tis, aning that one day in real world is 3 days here."

"But honestly speaking, I wouldn't be surprised we spend entire month by just looking for our perfection location."

"Anyway, did the GreyHunt and the others got any info or sothing? They are quiet late right now."

"Yea. They said that they just finished their information gathering in the city and they said that they may have sothing this ti." – said Shri while sitting on the rock nearby and petting her giant ant monster.

"Well, maybe this ti they found sothing useful or at least a hint this ti." – said ClownFrog.

After so ti passed, GreyHunt and the others gotten back to the cave that the mbers of the Purple Hyena were using as their hideout.

"Please tell that this ti we got sothing useful or sothing." – said ClownFrog while sitting on the ground.

"Well, yea. This ti we have good news, specifically 3 locations." – said GreyHunt.

"?!"

"Wait 3?! Not one?!" – said shocked Shri.

"Yeb." – said Oron.

"We managed to encounter so "Dark rchant" who so sells illegal stuff."

"He was bit of danger since he was chased by the guards, but we saved him since he may have information that we needed."

"And this ti that bastard had informations we wanted."

"We killed that guy later on to cover our tracks though." – said GreyHunt.

"But anyway, he did given us so nice informations."

"There are 3 locations where the empire holds no power or authority, even though it is inside the empire."

"They are designated as the 3 great danger zones."

"Each of these zones are extrely dangerous for many good reasons."

"Both the terrain is extrely annoying AND there is a lot of high level monsters roaming around."

"The empire had never succeeded in taking over any of those danger zones since they are well… Too dangerous and any attempts they did instead ended up costing them a lot of lifes and resources, to the point the whole idea of taking them over was completely abandoned for who knows how long."

"So you are saying that we should make one of these great danger zones as our base?" – asked Rampage.

"Yea. If all things go well, we can maybe form our base there." – said Oron.

"…."

"Well, those 3 great danger zones maybe really our only ans of creating a base, so hit us already and see what you got to say." – said ClownFrog.
