After recruiting both Rampage and her friend Blueberry to our Purple Hyena guild, our numbers grown from 4 to 6 players.
Rampage isn't a smartest player but she is talented when it cos to the combat and she is quiet dependable tank and she is also able to deal a lot of damage.
As for the Blueberry, she is a production class user as well as the gun user.
She is able to create a lot of good stuff and even she was able to create sothing like a grenade launcher that can pretty much blow shit up.
Both of them are a nice addition to our guild.
Anyway, after all of our business was done with the capital city, gathering the info and helping Rampage finishing her quest, it was finally ti to begin preparing to leave the capital city and resu our travels.
Blueberry repaired Rampage armor and made her new shield and spear, since her previous ones were completely wrecked after the fight with Forgotten Bride. She said she also wanted to make us new equipnt, but she said she had no materials on her. Well, it was about the ti we got a new equipnt.
We can use our equipnt for bit more, but we really need so new one and having NPC make us costu made equipnt will cost way more than the last ti since we now even better stuff.
Honestly, I'm quiet looking forward to the equipnt made by the Blueberry, so we can wait and even gather materials for her. We already saw the amazing stuff she was able to create so I'm quite excited to see what she would made for us.
Oh, and by the way, Rampage is finally vampire commoner after drinking that fresh blood she got from the vampire spy guy.
This not all. The vampire commoner did not offer any class skills, so she only had class skills from the vampire newborn rank. It may seem like bad news, but it's really not. Reason? Rampage leveled up all her basic vampiric skills to level 10. She needed half of the combined levels from all her vampire noble skills to reach a vampire newborn class skill level 10.
As soon as her class skill rank changed to the vampire commoner, her class skill level instantly reached level 10 from the other half of the vampiric skills combined level.
So, with one of the conditions of the evolutions being fulfilled instantly, pretty much after she drank that vampiric blood wine stuff, she fulfilled both of the evolutions conditions and evolved once again. Evolving into the vampire baron.
[Vampire Noble]
[Class skill rank: Vampire Baron]
[Effect]
[Increase user all basic base stats by 20 and X. X is equal to the skill current level.]
Rampage beca much stronger after evolving twice and now she was even able to learn new vampiric skills.
Honestly getting free 20 to all stats seem bit unfair no matter how I look at it and not only that, but that is not all. She will get more and more points to all stats each ti she level up this class skill and ranks it up each ti.
There is also another thing. Her race effect changes each ti she evolves.
[Increase user max HP by 10% -> 12% -> (15%)]
[Increase the regeneration speed of health by: 1 -> 2 -> (3)]
[Increase the performance of blood type skills by 5% -> 7% -> (10%)]
[Increases damage taken from holy attacks and elents by 100%]
[Increases damage taken from light attacks and elents by 100%]
[When exposed to the sunlight, receive 80% -> 75% -> (70%) all stat debuff.]
[When exposed to a sunlight, receive a continues damage.]
Pretty much, she grows stronger by a lot each ti she evolves. Not only her class skill would give her bonus stat points, but her race effect would also get much stronger.
I know that bonus damage taken from light and holy elents and attacks being increases by 100% is still bad, but her benefits of being vampire will keep getting stronger and stronger as ti goes by.
In short, being vampire is OP.
Honestly, I'm envy her.
It would be a good thing if I and the rest of the group got race change into sothing powerful like Rampage.
Well, its not like we would encounter the race change from the get go even if we were to pray to the gods or sothing.
Anyway, after we restock our stuff, we finally left the capital city.
Our journey from the capital city the dessert will be a long one, but we have also to not go to fast since we need to level up along the way.
So pretty much it will take quiet amount of ti before we finally get there.
On our first day of traveling, we managed to hitch the raid from so the caravan. By the look of things, there was a lot of traveling services in the capital city going in the different directions.
Well, we did had to pay so money for each person, but at least we didn't wasted too much ti on walking.
We manage to get quiet far, but not that far. We manage to get past 2 villages and get to the town. Honestly it may seem like we crossed a lot of distance, but honestly speaking, we got still a long way before getting to the dessert and we don't know if we would get lucky with another transport.
Anyway, there wasn't really anything to do in the town we got dropped in. There wasn't any quests or adventures guild. Honestly, we didn't wanted to bother doing the sa thing again with going far away from the settlent in order to seek a high level area.
The reason was quite simple, if the area is so peaceful around the town, then there is a good chance we won't find anything even if we go further away. Its better trying searching in the areas where the monsters are present as well as the adventure guild.
Since there was nothing to do, we pretty much left the town as soon as we got in there and began traveling on the foot. This ti we weren't so lucky to get the ride from get go.
Several days passed and we manage to get to the city called Danlum. We decided to stay in that city since we were slowly getting closer to the dessert.
After bit of looking around, we decided to stay for a bit. The monster in the area were monsters with level 160-180, but there was a chance we would encounter so monsters with much higher level monsters.
We manage to get to the level 200, thanks to those swamps being the perfect hunting grounds, but we need to level up few more tis before we finally enter the dessert.
We decided to go in 6 different directions in order to search for the suitable hunting grounds. We searched for few hours straight and pretty much the entire went by, but unfortunately, none of us were able to find any good hunting spots.
Pretty much, we wasted the entire day for nothing.
I think the reason why this happened is because of our high level. We leveled up a shit tons of ti ever since we got to the capital city.
I think it will take us so ti before we find so suitable hunting grounds. Honestly, there is also a chance we won't find anything suitable for us until we get to the dessert. Maybe we were just extrely luck when we found that swamp? Or maybe the areas with high level monsters does appear often outside the adventure guild range but this ti we got unlucky? I don't really know anymore.
For now, let's say that there is a chance to encounter a high level monsters outside the adventure guild radar.
Anyway, since there was nothing to do, we could do there, we decided to resu our traveling again.
Another several days passed and I can just straight up said they sucked. There was nothing to do and I an it. The areas were too peaceful! Like no monsters or anything!
Honestly, we could make the stop at one of the villages we were passing by and try searching around again, but the obvious problem is that we may not discover sothing again and instead waste the entire days searching for nothing. It better if we search in areas where the monsters are present, since it would give us much higher chance of discovering sothing.
There is also an option of trying to gain so people favor and gain a quest from them. For example, how Rampage got the quest from vampire and information where the ruins where Forgotten Bride lived was located.
However, this thod isn't reliable as well. How do we know what NPCs have what sort of information or not? Or even if we get their favorability quite high it doesn't an that they will offer us sothing like "Oh my ancestor was a legendary hero and you are worthy to inherit his will." This kind of thing.
I an, its not ever single NPC in this bloody world is a descended of the legendary hero or sothing and we don't have ti to wasted on getting every single NPCs favorability since it could even take years if we do that kind of stupid approaches.
It's just straight up better to just move on.
Anyway, we finally got quiet far away from the capital city and that obviously ans CHAOS TI!
But doing so random chaos will be obviously stupid and will be the waste of ti.
It would make sense if our target was so sort of important location, like Erald city, but so far, we did not found anything like that.
And obviously razing down the villages or towns to the ground would obviously alert people.
Well, we would have to sooner or later to do that, if we want to provide Rampage with fresh blood so she can evolve into the higher ranking vampire, but she is still has to develop her new powers so she isn't right now in that big dire need of a blood.
So, for now no random chaos unless is very necessary.
Anyway, after walking nonstop again, we finally manage to get to another big settlent, a city called Stone.
"…Okay. According to the information we got our hands on from the villages we passed by, this place is swarming with a lot of different monsters that are quite powerful, so we maybe be able to finally hunt sothing after walking nonstop for many days. This place is a last settlent we will be staying in before entering the dessert.
We need to level up as much as possible before entering that place." – said ClownFrog.
"So, we are going straight to the adventure guild?" – asked Rampage.
"Pretty much yes, but only 2 of us should go there while the rest will go gather so info." – said Shri.
"O-oh! Then I would like to go to the guild. I want to find out what kind of monsters we can hunt are out there and what materials we can get from them!" – said Blueberry.
"I'm going as well." – said GreyHunt.
"Okay. Then the rest of us go gather so info. According the historical records I read in the royal capital, apparently this place was made long before the war between this kingdom and kingdom of the Umil broke out. Apparently, this place was used as the line of the defense by the Adernul kingdom when they were losing the war.
Considering how activate this place was during that war and how close its located to the dessert, there is a good chance we will get so interesting and useful information that could help us out a bit." – said ClownFrog.
"If you find anything then left the ssenge of your findings in the guild chat, got it?"
GreyHunt and Blueberry went to the guild in order to check out an average level of the monsters in the area as well as what kind appear, while the rest of us went to gather so information.
After bit of looking around we found out several things.
Frist thing first.
The Stone city in a heavily defended location.
Tall and thick walls.
A tons of guards everywhere.
This place has a lot of different defenses and stuff, so I think it would be impossible for us to sabotage this place without getting catched in the process. Too bad really. It would be very beneficial to us if we sohow would manage to weaken this place or sothing, since it seem like another one of those important location just like Erald city.
Anyway, the person in the charge of this place is noble called Damian sothing. Apparently, he is no good noble that just enjoy the luxuries that his accessories earned though their sacrifices the ages. He is quiet incopeted and even people living in the city don't like him very much at all.
Well even if he is incopeted, that doesn't an that we can make a ss out of this city because of those army of the guards stationing there.
We decided to give up on ssing this city up since we deed it impossible to even make any ss in the first place. Even if sothing like the minotaurs quest would pop up again, we would probably have no choice but to refuse it considering the situation.
But man, it was already quiet long ti since we caused any chaos or did anything evil. We really didn't do any "Evil Stuff" ever since we left the Erald city.
Anyway, we also learned sothing important to us.
When Blueberry and GreyHunt went to the guild to look for the suitable hunting grounds, they manage to get a hold of the important info.
Apparently if we were to enter the dessert, the most common monster level we would encounter would be monsters with level 220. There wasn't an more info like what is the highest level monsters there or anything, but this is still a valuable piece of information, since we can now definitely assu the monsters, we will be eting there are at least level 200 and above.
We know that the monsters get a huge power up if they are level 100 and above. The players also get a bit of power up as well.
With this in mind we can definitely say that the monsters with level 200 and above will again a
The highest level monsters we fought so far were level 195 dark swamp alligators and the first level 200 monster we fought was that Forgotten Bride.
So, in short, we don't really know how the average level 200 and above monsters are really strong. There is also the fact that our leveling up speed probably got much slower again, since our levels are quite high.
Well, the area around us apparently have so monsters around level 220, so I think we should hunt monsters until we get to the level 220 and then imdiately head to the dessert.
Since the desert has a lot of high level monsters, we won't have to make that giant area search in order to find the suitable hunting grounds.
Purple Hyena guild currently consists of 6 mbers and each mber is quite powerful. After we confirm the average strength of the monsters with level 200 and above, then we could start considering hunting monsters much higher level than us. Like hunting monsters with 10 levels or maybe 20 levels higher than us?
So, with that being said, its ti to finally hunt sothing again.
