After that ss was over, the recruiter finally appeared and led him to the privileged rooms reserved for special students.

At this point, the recruiter already viewed Vyral differently – not as a weak, submissive scavenger anymore. The sa went for the other ordinary students in the academy.

Vyral didn’t pay much attention to those looks. He was no longer the type to crave recognition like in his old life.

After completing the necessary procedures, Vyral was finally brought to his room, located separately a few buildings away from the common students’ dormitories. The place looked more like a small apartnt building connected to many other comfortable rooms, even having a balcony overlooking the city outside.

Even in his wildest dreams, he had never thought he could live in a place like this.

Vyral headed to the bathroom and took a shower, quietly letting the streams of water rinse away the filth covering his body.

’’Finally, I can wash this stuff off my body.’’

The poor conditions in the trashy zone never gave him a proper chance to bathe.

A few minutes later, Vyral stood in front of the bathroom mirror while drying his hair with a towel.

The mont he saw the reflection in the mirror, he recoiled in shock.

’’Who the hell is this?’’

He closed to the mirror, slicked back his black hair with one hand, revealing a sharp angular face and sapphire-blue eyes.

Surprised, he frowned.

’’That’s ??’’

He was sure that this body almost completely matched his forr one, except for one thing: he was quite short.

He gently rubbed the skin stretched tightly over his small abs and biceps.

’’Now I can be pretty sure that I’ve reincarnated into a parallel world, not the distant future,’’ he deduced.

There was a theory that a parallel world was simply another version of the original world, sharing nearly all of its characteristics, including its people. Then he had reincarnated as his counterpart in a parallel world.

Vyral smirked.

’’Good. My handso face is back.’’

But then, his bright expression quickly darkened, turning sour.

’’Except for one thing: my height.’’

Soon, the night passed.

8 A.M

Vyral put on a clean academy outfit before heading to the door and opening it.

He frowned in annoyance upon seeing a chubby student already standing in front of his room. It looked like the guy had been waiting there for quite a while.

Vyral grumbled.

’’Doran... what are you doing here?’’

Doran narrowed his eyes as he stared at Vyral. He even rubbed his eyes several tis before looking at him again.

He was pretty sure this damned handso guy was Vyral thanks to his body sll. But the sudden change in Vyral’s appearance still surprised Doran. He looked like a completely different person just after taking a bath and a good outfit while...

Doran bitterly patted his soft, fat belly.

’’You’re handso now, but you still lose to in one thing: height.’’

Doran nodded in satisfaction, trying to comfort himself with the only thing he was better at than Vyral.

Then, he pointed at a sleeping pod nearby.

’’Like I promised, this is what you wanted. The newest product from my corporation. It still hasn’t been officially released to the market yet, but thanks to my influence, getting one was relatively easy.’’

He smiled smugly.

In reality, he had even knelt and cried before his uncle just to get his hands on that pod.

Vyral raised the corner of his lips.

’’I see.’’

After settling everything, Vyral and Doran headed to the privileged classroom together. Throughout the corridor, countless eyes were drawn toward the two of them – one short and thin, the other tall and fat.

A perfect duo.

Doran grinned when he noticed so female students glancing at them. He ran a hand through his hair before proudly declaring,

’’Being handso is a sin.’’

A female student covered her red lips with a hand, smiling seductively as she chatted with her friend.

’’Do you see that handso student? I’ve never seen eyes like his before. They totally stole my heart.’’

The other girl nodded nonstop.

’’You’re right. My heart almost skipped a beat when he looked at .’’

A male student grumbled.

’’He’s just a half-pint.’’

...

’’You’re just jealous. That’s what makes him cute.’’

Vyral frowned the mont he heard the word ’’cute.’’ He clicked his tongue and quickened his pace toward the privileged classroom.

He swore that once he returned to the ga, the first thing he would do was evolve his height.

Ten minutes later, Vyral sat in his chair while Doran sat beside him. As they waited for the professors to arrive, Doran began introducing the strong individuals in the classroom.

He went through them one by one – the children of powerful corporations – explaining their identities and even their races in detail.

Vyral silently listened to Doran until his eyes fixed on soone he had once seen on a television screen a few days before.

’’Grey.’’

Doran smiled.

’Looks like you know him. He’s the son of the chief scientific officer of my corporation. His race is elf, with an affinity for two elents: fire and lightning.’’

Then, he glanced around as if making sure nobody could hear what he was about to say next. Lowering his voice, he continued,

’’He’s a total fuckboy. He sleeps with pretty much any girl he wants, even leaving behind a few kids, and provides them with a $100 monthly allowance. Here’s my advice: don’t let your girlfriend get close to him.’’

Vyral nodded, not a hint of surprise in his eyes.

A few minutes later, Doran, looking eager, pointed at a crimson-haired girl entering the classroom.

’’She is my future wife. She belongs to a unique race: an angel, an Apostle of the Light Goddess. Although it’s just one-sided love, I believe I can conquer her in the future.’’

Then his voice turned sour.

’’Worst case, maybe I’ll change my target.’’

Vyral blurted out instinctively, rembering that na.

’’Scarlet?’’

Almost instantly, Scarlet stopped in her tracks, shooting her eyes toward Vyral.

They locked eyes, without even blinking.

Over ti, she still stood frozen at the door, staring at Vyral as if hypnotized. Even the students in the classroom began to notice her strange behavior.

’’You see it, right? She’s looking at .’’ Doran bared his teeth as he waved a hand through his hair.

’’Today’s a special day. I never thought there’d be so many girls staring at like that. Probably thanks to my new hairstyle. Good. I’ll keep this hairstyle forever.’’

Vyral just squinted, staring into her crimson eyes. A series of questions flashed through his mind at that mont.

’’Maybe she realized I’m an Apostle too.’’

A few seconds later, Scarlet flinched, as if realizing she had been staring at Vyral’s captivating eyes for too long. She quickly lowered her head to hide her emotions before rushing back to her seat.

However, she couldn’t hide her ears, already flushed red like tomatoes.
