Outside the restaurant, the disciples who had been waiting for a long ti grew restless when they heard Mo Qi was limiting the sale of his dicinal Cuisine.
Most of them were fellow disciples of the Elite Disciples who had reaped the benefits yesterday. They had witnessed the breakthroughs with their own eyes, which was why they were now waiting in line, full of anticipation.
Now, he was suddenly announcing a limit? Wasn’t he just toying with them?
"Boss Mo, that’s not right! We’ve waited for so long, and you’re just going to send us away empty-handed?"
Dozens of disciples stord into the restaurant, demanding answers in harsh tones.
"Yeah! You have to give us an explanation, or else this whole wait will have been for nothing."
"It’s not like we’re not paying with contribution points. Boss Mo, I think you should get rid of the limit. That way, everyone gets what they want, and we can all be happy."
Mo Qi’s brow furrowed slightly as he said coldly, "I’ve said it before. In my restaurant, my word is law. If you have doubts or are dissatisfied, you can leave. This establishnt has no obligation to explain anything."
"Mo Qi, don’t push your luck. We didn’t even complain about the price of one hundred contribution points, and now you have the nerve to limit the supply?"
"Hmph, the Sect is going through a turbulent ti right now. Your little sidekicks and your backer have left, haven’t they? With no one to protect you, I suggest you be a little more sensible!"
They had all seen Yang Ming, Liu Hui, and Yu Liang leave. Combining that with the ssages they’d received from their masters, it wasn’t hard to guess why.
In other words, for the foreseeable future, Mo Qi would be all on his own. He had no one to help him and no one to back him up.
"You’re no match for anyone here. I’m guessing you’d rather not suffer any physical pain, would you?"
Whether the ones speaking truly wanted dicinal Cuisine or were just looking for trouble, only they knew for sure.
Instead of getting angry, Mo Qi laughed. "So, you all think you have dead to rights?"
"Now, now, let’s talk this out." Seeing the tension escalating, Chen Liang quickly stepped in to play peacemaker.
It wasn’t that he actually wanted to help Mo Qi. He was just worried that if Mo Qi got beaten or crippled, there would be no more dicinal Cuisine.
"Fellow disciples, I understand your desire for the dicinal Cuisine, but if you make Boss Mo unhappy, we might all lose access to it for good."
"Hmph, he’s unhappy? We’re the ones who are unhappy! Chen Liang, don’t you forget how he treated you yesterday!"
Chen Liang gave a wry smile and looked at Mo Qi. "Boss Mo, look... How about you just get rid of the limit?"
"Heh." Mo Qi chuckled. "In that case, starting now, this establishnt is closed for business."
’You think two hundred servings is too few? Fine. Now you get none at all.’
’If you dare to act so arrogant in front of , you’d better be prepared to pay the price.’
Besides, he wasn’t short on contribution points. Everything else could wait until after he led the team in the competition against the Wolf Fang Sect.
He wasn’t the least bit worried about losing custors. Even Yang Ming and Yu Liang couldn’t resist the allure of his dicinal Cuisine, let alone these disciples.
Chen Liang and the crowd were dumbfounded. ’Could he be any more unreasonable?’
"You’re ssing with us? Brothers, Boss Mo is looking down on us!"
"Get him! Let’s tear this place apart!"
"Beat him up! Avenge our fellow disciples who were injured yesterday!"
"A guy like this doesn’t deserve to be a Core Disciple! Everybody, get him!"
Instigating shouts ca from the crowd, seemingly from all directions, but the speakers remained hidden.
The crowd, who hadn’t gotten any dicinal Cuisine, erupted. All their pent-up resentnt toward Mo Qi burst forth.
Over a hundred Elite Disciples sward forward, shouting as they surrounded Mo Qi, their eyes fixed on him like predators.
The disciples who had been won over by the dicinal Cuisine were all stunned. ’What is happening? Have they all gone mad?’
Beneath her veil, Liu Ruyan’s expression was as dark as a thundercloud.
’How dare they treat Brother Mo like this! They’re courting death!’
Just as she was about to act, a large, warm hand grasped hers.
"Stand behind ," Mo Qi said with a gentle smile, his voice brimming with confidence.
All her anger instantly vanished. Liu Ruyan nodded ekly. She chose to trust him.
"Oh, look! The coward isn’t running from a fight this ti?"
"Hahaha! Surrounded by us, he has to fight whether he wants to or not."
It was the sa few voices, still hidden within the crowd, their locations impossible to pinpoint.
"Stop hiding like cowards! Get out here!" Mo Qi roared, his powerful Spiritual Power spreading out and instantly locking onto one person.
He flung out a black pot the size of a washbasin. It shot through a gap in the crowd, hurtling toward a short, dark-faced man.
The dark-faced man was stunned for a mont before a disdainful smirk spread across his face as he watched the pot fly toward him.
"A cook is just a cook. How embarrassing to use a pot as a weapon."
He reached out to grab the pot, but the mont his hand made contact, he knew he had just made the biggest mistake of his life.
The seemingly unremarkable pot, which hadn’t even looked that fast, carried a colossal, overwhelming force.
BANG!
With a muffled thud, the arm that touched the pot couldn’t withstand the force. It instantly swelled and exploded into a bloody mist.
The pot’s montum didn’t slow as it slamd heavily into the dark-faced man’s chest.
BOOM!
The dark-faced man was sent flying like a sandbag, crashing through half of the restaurant’s wall and plumting from the mountaintop, his fate unknown.
Everyone was stunned. The dark-faced man’s Cultivation wasn’t high, only at the Third Level of Divine Refining.
But even so, Mo Qi shouldn’t have been able to deal with him.
Let alone take him out so gruesoly with a single "Flying Pot from the Heavens."
THUD!
The pot landed on the floor with a heavy thud, making the entire restaurant tremble.
Seeing the floor, which was paved with a special type of stone, get shattered to pieces by the impact, everyone couldn’t help but gasp.
’Just how heavy is that pot?!’
"If any of you have other thoughts, feel free to speak up. Don’t be afraid. I’d love to hear them," Mo Qi said with a grin, beckoning with his hand. The black pot flew back into his grasp.
The few Elite Disciples who had been hiding in the crowd, sent to cause trouble and trash the place, lowered their heads, not daring to et Mo Qi’s gaze.
Their strength was comparable to the dark-faced man’s. They wouldn’t dare say another word now.
The others were simply angry because they hadn’t gotten any dicinal Cuisine after waiting for so long.
That, combined with their existing resentnt toward Mo Qi, had allowed them to be easily incited and rush forward in the heat of the mont.
Now that Mo Qi had demonstrated his formidable power, while it wasn’t enough to make them truly afraid, it had certainly shocked them back to their senses.
After all, Mo Qi was the one who controlled the supply of dicinal Cuisine. A mont’s thought was all it took to realize that causing trouble would do them no good.
"Get out!"
Mo Qi barked, ordering them to leave.
Though still furious, the crowd had no other choice.
They desperately wanted to team up and beat Mo Qi, but no one wanted to take responsibility. Frustrated, they had no choice but to leave.
"Brother Mo, the restaurant is damaged. Why didn’t you make them pay for it?" Liu Ruyan suddenly asked.
Mo Qi ruffled Liu Ruyan’s hair and smiled. "Don’t worry. Soone will foot the bill for this."
As he spoke, a cold glint flashed in the depths of his eyes.
’Do they really think I don’t know who sent people here to stir things up?’
’Since they’ve made their move, they’d better be prepared to face my wrath.’
After all the custors had left, Mo Qi was about to prepare so dicinal Cuisine for himself to perfect his Sixth Transition Essence Purification, but the Pig Emperor perched on his shoulder sent a ssage to him.
"Mo Qi, soone’s hiding in the sky above the restaurant. A powerful one."
