"Arrogant!"
The powerful-looking middle-aged man spoke again, a longsword appearing in his hand.
"Everyone, I say we attack together! Let’s kill these two outsiders first, and we can discuss how to divide the Treasure later!"
"Alright, let’s go!"
"Kill these two arrogant little thieves!"
Two elderly n in ornate robes darted out from the crowd, joining the middle-aged man to attack Jin Sanpang.
The others were tempted to join, but caution held them back, and they chose to watch from the sidelines for the ti being.
Seeing the three of them charge, Jin Sanpang stomped his foot in a rage.
’How dare they interrupt Brother Mo while he’s healing her? They deserve to die!’
He took out his weapons: two enormous Golden Hamrs, each as large as the woodshed behind him.
Jin Sanpang hefted the Golden Hamrs and swung them forward with all his might.
The three charging n turned pale with fright. Hamr-type weapons were common enough, but most were only the size of a waterlon. Who had ever seen hamrs as huge as a small house?
’This has to weigh at least a hundred thousand pounds! Is that even sothing a human can wield?!’
It was too late to retreat. The three exchanged a look, gritted their teeth, and unleashed their Domains in unison, hoping to block the attack.
BOOM!
The giant hamrs made intimate contact with the three of them.
CRACK!
Their combined Domain shattered in less than half a second. The three n who had attacked were not spared either; they were crushed into three piles of mangled flesh beneath the giant hamrs.
Another one-hit kill, but this ti, the victims were three Mid-stage Purity Realm experts!
Everyone was stunned.
Three veteran Mid-stage Purity Realm cultivators working together should have been able to fight soone at the Late-stage Purity Realm.
Yet they couldn’t even withstand a single one of Jin Sanpang’s hamr blows.
Everyone’s hearts sank, especially at the mont the Domains were blasted apart by the hamrs.
The way they looked at Jin Sanpang changed once again. This impossibly fat young man had to have a Cultivation at the Peak of Purity Realm, or maybe even the Vajra Realm.
Shattering a Domain with pure strength ant that Jin Sanpang’s physical constitution was at least as strong as a typical Vajra Realm expert’s.
’How could they possibly fight this?’
Even if they gathered every Cultivator in Nanyang City, they wouldn’t be enough to withstand a few swings of his hamrs.
Those who had been about to join the attack now felt a wave of secret relief. Thank goodness they hadn’t impulsively rushed forward. Otherwise, they would now be part of those piles of mangled flesh.
"Do you still want to fight?" Jin Sanpang asked, hoisting the giant hamrs onto his shoulder and looking at the crowd.
The crowd frantically shook their heads and backed away, not stopping until they were outside the manor grounds. They didn’t dare make a single sound the entire ti.
If Jin Sanpang mistook any noise for a disturbance, no one would survive the hamr blow that would surely follow.
Jin Sanpang nodded in satisfaction, put away his giant hamrs, and sat by the woodshed door. He rested his chin in his hands, lost in thought.
The remaining faction leaders began to communicate secretly via telepathy.
"Gods, where did this monster co from? Is he one of yours, from the Void Sect?"
"No," the Void Sect representative in Nanyang City replied, shaking his head. "I’ve never heard anything about the higher-ups sending soone here."
At that, all eyes turned to City Lord Zhang He.
If he wasn’t from the Void Sect, he had to be from the Mountain and Sea Empire.
But to their surprise, Zhang He also shook his head with a wry smile. "He is not with the Mountain and Sea Empire. If he were, I would know him."
That was strange. He wasn’t from the Void Sect or the Mountain and Sea Empire. Could he be an Independent Cultivator?
But on second thought, that seed impossible.
For one, Independent Cultivators are generally poor and lack the resources to raise such a terrifying prodigy.
And for another, if he truly were an Independent Cultivator, his elders would treasure him to no end. They would never allow him to wander around so openly.
"Old Zhou, I heard this was originally the Niu Residence, but your Zhou Family recently seized it. Didn’t you hear anything about this?"
"Heh, that was just the juniors ssing around. I’ve been in seclusion for over a year and was just startled awake by all this."
"If this fatty is already so terrifying, then what kind of existence is the ’Brother Mo’ he speaks of?"
"Sigh. I just hope they don’t go on a rampage."
Mixed in with the crowd, Fang Min’s face was a mask of fury. She clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, but she paid it no mind.
’Mo Qi, you worthless piece of trash, you’re so damn lucky. There’s always soone to back you up. But it doesn’t matter. Niu Kexin is just the interest. Just you wait. One day, I, Fang Min, will return the suffering you inflicted on a thousandfold, a ten-thousandfold! I’ll make you kneel before , crying and begging for rcy!’
Jin Sanpang’s display of power was too overwhelming. Fang Min knew that with her current strength, she stood no chance of getting revenge on Mo Qi directly.
In fact, the most crucial thing for her to do right now was to get as far away as possible before Mo Qi could find her.
Without a mont’s hesitation, Fang Min slipped away, leaving Nanyang City and heading for faraway lands.
Inside the woodshed, the dicinal bath was ready.
A bathtub constructed from Top-grade Spirit Stones—what an incredible luxury. Not even the Emperor of the Mountain and Sea Empire enjoyed such treatnt.
Mo Qi lifted Niu Kexin into his arms and, without a shred of hesitation about propriety, removed her clothes, revealing a delicate body covered in scars.
Perhaps because he had touched her wounds, the unconscious Niu Kexin’s brow furrowed slightly, and a soft moan of pain escaped her lips.
Mo Qi’s heart clenched. A sting shot through his nose as his eyes welled up with hot tears.
Until you saw Niu Kexin’s injuries with your own eyes, you could never imagine the suffering she had endured.
Her entire body was covered in injuries of every kind, with barely an inch of undamaged flesh to be found. Her face was especially horrific, a crisscrossing network of new and old wounds that looked like grotesque centipedes.
The tendons in her limbs had all been severed. Iron shackles were locked around her ankles, and six-inch-long, willow-leaf-shaped nails pierced her calves. Her ten toes were festering and stuck together, reeking of decay.
Mo Qi couldn’t hold back any longer. Tears of pure heartache stread down his face.
He cradled Niu Kexin’s feet in his arms, completely unbothered by the blood, pus, and stench oozing from her wounds.
"Sister Kexin, you’ve suffered so much. I’ll make you whole again right now. Don’t worry. Everyone who hurt you, everyone connected to this... I won’t let a single one of them get away."
"Just hold on a little longer. It’ll be over soon."
Mo Qi leaned down and gently kissed Niu Kexin’s bloody forehead.
He activated his Sword Skill Domain, levitating Niu Kexin in mid-air.
The Obsidian Kitchen Knife appeared in Mo Qi’s hand, and he began to swing it toward Niu Kexin.
SWISH SWISH SWISH!
The light of the blade flashed, roaring like a tiger and crying like a dragon.
Mo Qi was more focused than ever, desperately drawing out his Spiritual Power and wrapping it around every inch of Niu Kexin’s body.
This was far more direct, far clearer than caressing her body by hand.
But right now, Mo Qi’s mind was completely pure. His strokes beca ever steadier, ever faster.
As for Niu Kexin, the infected, inflad, and necrotic flesh on her body began to disappear at a visible rate, slowly revealing fresh, vibrant tissue underneath.
He shaved away the scabs without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Bright red blood welled up, but it was held in place by a thin mbrane, not a single drop spilling.
The shackles on her calves were ground to dust by the flashing blade. Guided by the Sword Skill Domain, the dust drifted away without harming Niu Kexin in the slightest.
Soon, Niu Kexin’s scar-covered body was transford. Every inch of her skin was now raw and exposed, glistening with fresh, red blood.
