Shen Miao was surprised that a woman in her early twenties could bee a consort. Either her family was extremely prominent, or she was very favored. Consort Jing was stunned, and so was Empress Xiande, as if she did not expect Shen Miao to say that.
“His Highness Prince Rui asked me to take care of everything at home.
