In the arena, Lu Jun was surprised. He initially thought he would have to carry the team alone, but his two teammates perford unexpectedly well.

What he didn't realize was how crucial his presence was—like an anchor stabilizing the team. By casting two defensive spells, he forced the Imperial Academy Team to abandon two attack points, creating imnse offensive pressure.

In group battles among mages, having a star player can significantly raise a team's lower limit.

On the other side, Mu Tingying saw the sea of flas sweeping over and cursed inwardly. Too shaless! It was understandable that two Psychic Elent mages had high ntal strength and fast casting speed, but how could soone still unleash Fiery Fist at the Mid-tier?

She quickly shouted, "Spread out the formation!"

The three people in place attempted to evade, but Dongfang Ming's Fiery Fist shattered their formation.

However, Lu Jun failed to seize the opportunity because Guan Yu had charged straight in.

With a stomp, his Boots of the Demon released a circle of earthen ripples, instantly neutralizing the effects of the Earth Wave spell. Combined with Wind Elent magic, his speed skyrocketed as he closed the distance. Bai Zhengfeng was completely unable to stop him.

Guan Yu raised his clawed arm, grinning ferociously, eager to see the panic on their faces. Based on his experience, all mages were weak in close combat, which was why he had developed this specific fighting style—it had never failed him. He was confident that once he got close, he could eliminate at least one person.

Of course, the required magical equipnt had to be unique—not necessarily lethal but durable enough for sustained combat.

However, Lu Jun rely smiled. This was a case of the real Li Kui eting the fake one! Back in the Basic-tier, Lu Jun's most practiced technique was an imitation of Guan Yu's.

Unfortunately for Guan Yu, Lu Jun's tal Elent power far exceeded his clawed-arm magical equipnt. From now on, the world would call Guan Yu Little Lu Jun!

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

In the blink of an eye, Lu Jun unleashed a Basic-tier tal Elent spell, stepping in front of Bai Zhengfeng. With a casual motion, he gripped the air, summoning a jet-blackgold divine sword. Its surface was inscribed with glowing runes, radiating dazzling platinum light that pierced the sky, causing the very air to tremble and distort.

Level 4 Forging Spell—Resonance!

Guan Yu's face changed drastically. He imdiately turned to flee, but the sword's energy was faster. In the blink of an eye, it caught up with him, roaring through the air. Wherever the energy passed, the ground split apart, carving a deep chasm.

Left with no choice, Guan Yu turned to defend himself. His expensive armor activated, covering him in layers of azure scales, forming a Wind Armor. His clawed arm t the incoming sword light, attempting to block it.

Boom!

At the mont of impact, the platinum sword light slashed through, sending Guan Yu flying over ten ters. His Wind Armor shattered, and his clawed arm was severed at the root, leaving his right arm a mangled ss of flesh and blood.

When he crashed onto the ground, he coughed up blood, his organs severely displaced. His chest burned with pain. As he struggled to stand, he felt a chill on his head. Touching his scalp, he realized his wig had fallen off.

At this mont, his appearance was utterly ridiculous—a once-handso face now bald and covered in dirt.

Guan Yu was still in shock. He hadn't expected Lu Jun's magical equipnt to be so powerful, breaking through two layers of his defenses.

But Lu Jun didn't press the attack, because on the other side, Nanrong Ni had finally completed casting her Mid-tier spell.

Beneath her feet, a green star trajectory ford, resembling intertwining vines that painted a natural scene—a symbol of thriving life!

She scattered countless vibrant green seeds across the arena. Infused with imnse natural energy, they sprouted in an instant. Thorny vines intertwined and grew wildly, the ground rumbling as massive roots erged, carving deep trenches like an invading force.

Mid-tier Level 2: Kun's Grove—Forest Snare!

In re monts, spiraling vines wove together, forming towering trees that enclosed Lu Jun and his teammates in a living forest, sealing them inside.

They attempted to escape—Bai Zhengfeng with Earth Wave, Dongfang Ming with Wind Path.

But these plants could sense life. Treating the group as a growth center, the vines expanded without restraint, coiling and rging. Even if they ran in separate directions, they were quickly ensnared. The vegetation grew denser and denser until it completely blocked their view of the outside world.

Lu Jun sighed in admiration. As expected of an aristocratic family mber. Not only has she cultivated her main elent to Mid-tier Level 2, but she also possesses special tree seeds.

He was well aware that, much like how tal Elent mages needed to refine unique tals, Plant Elent mages had to collect rare tree seeds—similar to Druids. Their combat strength depended not only on cultivation but also on the variety of trees they had acquired.

So seeds grew rapidly, so were exceptionally tough, so absorbed blood, so were fire-resistant, so were waterproof—the list went on.

Nanrong Ni's tree species were clearly the rapidly growing type.

Additionally, Plant Elent spells functioned similarly to Curse Elent spells—they were gradual, field-based strategies. Basic-tier vines could link with Mid-tier magic, aning the more vines there were, the stronger Kun's Grove would beco.

Since she had cast this spell hastily, it hadn't yet reached full power.

Despite being bound, Lu Jun remained calm. His erald-green eyes flickered as he quietly wove a trap within the battlefield.

At the sa ti, he cast Basic Level 4 Water Barrier and Basic-tier Level 4 Mind Wall on Bai Zhengfeng and Dongfang Ming, effectively giving them both armor and ntal defense. If I lack money, I'll just compensate with more strength!

anwhile, Dongfang Ming and Ding Yumian weren't idle either. They combined their Mid-tier Fiery Fist— Exploding Heaven's, unleashing a fiery explosion. The brilliant red flas engulfed the forest, toppling vast sections of trees and setting the vines ablaze.

Outside, Nanrong Ni, believing she had temporarily contained them, rushed over to Guan Yu. She clasped her hands in front of her chest, emitting a soft white glow. A tiny, delicate healing spirit appeared—resembling a flower fairy.

Under normal circumstances, Guan Yu's injuries would force him out of the match, but with this influx of life energy, his mutilated arm regenerated, his internal injuries subsided, and his vitality surged.

anwhile, the tiny white-dressed spirit rely dimd slightly, continuing to hover around Guan Yu, ready to provide further healing.

This was Mid-tier Healing Spirit. Each level added one additional spirit. Though Nanrong Ni had only reached Level 1, the effect was astonishing—far stronger than Basic-tier Healing Light.

The latter healed wounds in stages: flesh, bones, and organs. But Healing Spirit could also dispel curses, toxins, undead corruption, and even ntal damage.

As Nanrong Ni healed Guan Yu, Jiang Yu finally managed to complete his Star Path, activating Dinsional Summon.

A pale-white vortex appeared, and from it erged a towering rock beast. Though only seven ters tall, it exuded an unshakable presence—a true Warrior-level Summoned Beast!

Jiang Yu, panting, finally felt a sense of relief. He had been completely suppressed by Ding Yumian, but now he could finally contribute to the team.

What he didn't know was that Ding Yumian had been holding back, suppressing him at a level equivalent to a Three-Aspect Psychic Mage. If she had gone all out, she could have kept all four of them from casting a single spell throughout the entire match.

Rumble!

Before Jiang Yu could even contract another Mid-tier beast, the prison of trees exploded with an intense inferno. The dense vines lted away, reduced to flas.

Within the red blaze, Lu Jun and his teammates erged—completely unhard, each of them protected by Water Barriers.

"Cold Fla—Fiery Fist— Exploding Heaven's!"

Mu Tingying, having gathered power for a long ti, unleashed a devastating punch. Amplified by a 2.5x Spirit Seed, it struck the ground. The earth heaved, magma burst forth, and a towering inferno surged forward like a tsunami!
