"Mother-in-law, I’m coming to save you."
Lu Jun instantly made his decision to intervene, righteously determined. With a thought, he stepped forward on the towering waves.
Of course, he didn’t charge in recklessly. The surrounding deep sea was teeming with sea monster armies. The best strategy was to lie in wait, then strike at the critical mont.
The chaos from his earlier descent had already drawn the attention of so monsters. Without hesitation, he activated Psychic Invisibility, concealing his presence as he carefully closed the distance.
Crash!
At that mont, in the distance, the Crimson‑Shell Dragon Lord, enraged by the rmaid Queen’s attack, let out a thunderous roar and dove forward with its pincers raised.
It was like a ground effect vehicle—like a monster from the Caspian Sea—its charge reshaping mountains and filling seas, surging forth with monstrous waves.
On the other side, the rmaid Queen quickly chanted her mystical incantations. Layer upon layer of water walls, each hundreds of ters tall, surged up around her. The water was highly condensed, its surface gleaming with starlight.
It was clearly a special water essence mastered by a Water Elental Spirit, resembling a blend of black-and-white spots in coloration.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
But even so, as the Crimson Lord Monarch slamd through, the water walls were effortlessly shattered—until it charged directly before her.
The rmaid Queen seed ready to cast another spell, but her body suddenly swayed—her magic interrupted. She couldn’t dodge in ti and was struck head-on by the Monarch.
Bang! Her noble figure exploded into a shower of water droplets, mist billowing like a sea of clouds, blanketing the ocean’s surface.
Seeing this, Lu Jun, halfway across the sea manipulating the water flow, held his breath—thinking the rmaid Queen had fallen.
Fortunately, within monts, those glimring, starry river-like water threads reassembled not far away, reforming the rmaid Queen’s body, seemingly unhard.
Hehehehe!
From the deep sea, silhouettes of Demonic Trench Sea Witches began to erge. They appeared similar to human won, but in contrast to the pure and noble rmaid Queen, these sea witches were grotesque and twisted.
They let out snide, jealous laughter and eagerly begged their overlord for permission to pursue and slay the Water Elental Spirit—they would not allow such perfect lifeforms to exist beneath the sea.
It must’ve been these sea witches earlier who had used Psychic Interference to disrupt the rmaid Queen’s casting—causing her to fail so miserably.
The rmaid Queen was now in a dire situation. Her aura was faint; she had clearly suffered severe wounds while being hunted and was now encircled by enemy troops. She was likely dood.
After all, Dragons and Elental Spirits were both high-tier bloodlines among monsters—the difference in strength was marginal.
To make matters worse for the rmaid Queen, the sea monster army was cunning. They constantly commanded their subordinates to gnaw at the younger Commander-level Water Elental Spirit, forcing the rmaid Queen to divert her attention.
This caused her to be repeatedly wounded and forced into retreat.
That young rmaid let out a painful, lingering cry—pleading for her mother to abandon her.
But the rmaid Queen resolutely stood her ground—preferring death to retreat.
Boom!
Disaster rarely cos alone. After another charge from the Crimson Lord Dragon Monarch, terrifying water currents swept the weaker Commander-tier Water Elental Spirit away, forcing her from her mother’s protection.
Seeing this, the Sea Witch, also at Monarch level—grinned wickedly. With a pounce, she lunged forward to seize the little rmaid and use her to force the rmaid Queen to take her own life.
The rmaid Queen’s fury exploded. Her high-pitched cry pierced the heavens, followed by a terrifying wave of Psychic Pressure—desperate to save her daughter.
But the Sea Witch casually shattered the ntal force, sneering at the Queen’s futile struggle.
Overwheld by maternal desperation, the rmaid Queen left herself open. The Crimson Lord Monarch seized the opportunity—its claw crashing down and once again shattering her body into water currents, which struggled to reassemble.
The young rmaid was now re monts from peril.
At that mont, Lu Jun knew his opportunity had co. He imdiately rushed to the young rmaid’s side. Without the slightest hesitation, he burned all six of his magical systems’ spiritual worlds and stepped into the Ascension State.
Rumble—!
An imnse, majestic force surged from Lu Jun’s entire being. The divine image ford by his blood energy and spirit suddenly pounced, rging with him completely. Dense Demonic Sacrificial Marks spread across his skin.
However, this ti he did not display the Sword Wings, Dark Crown, or Heterochromatic Eyes. On the surface, he looked no different from a normal human. Only a series of dark water sashes coiled around his body, while a black vortex like a spatial hole lood behind him.
He radiated an ethereal grace like the Rain Celestial Arbiter, yet also carried the domineering, sinister presence of the Emperor of the Yellow Springs. These two conflicting auras coexisted flawlessly within him.
He channeled the entire sublimated power of the Cursed Substance "Blood Abyss" into the Water Elent, executing the ultimate version of his water seed: Northern Dark Heavy Water—and faintly glimpsed the future potential of a fully evolved Devour Seed.
This was Lu Jun’s first ti revealing this form and the first ti he had entered battle after mastering Northern Dark Heavy Water.
Now, his aura soared steadily until he firmly reached the level of a True Monarch. The Cursed Substance, after being nourished for so long by his ancient royal battle robe, had evolved to near Half-Heaven Seed level—thus enabling him to break through the Monarch boundary and raise his combat strength to this point.
A True Monarch was an existence of an entirely different dinsion compared to a Pseudo-Monarch, possessing an entirely different combat mode.
If his earlier White Tiger Ascension was considered a standard state, then his current form was a specialized combat mode, which could be nad Water Emperor, Black Sovereign—akin to Mo Fan’s Fire God Yama Form when fused with Little Fla Fairy.
"It’s a sha this Black Emperor Form isn’t yet complete... If only I could rge with the Water Elental Spirit," Lu Jun mused internally. Refocusing on the battlefield, he faced the nacing Sea Witch and softly uttered a single word:
"Mystic Gravity."
Buzz—Buzz—Buzz—!
Instantly, a massive Northern Dark Realm expanded outward from him in circular layers.
The deep blue seawater was dyed black inch by inch, as if it had beco the legendary Water of the Northern Abyss. In the blink of an eye, the black waters extended over several kiloters. A world-shaking gravitational force brewed, making both air and sea unbearably heavy.
Each drop of water in this domain condensed like iron. The sea surface caved in by dozens of ters, and what would normally be easily stirred into crashing waves was now crushed beneath infinite gravity—collapsing in on itself. The ocean stilled, becoming a pitch-black, mirrored abyss.
Boom!
That Monarch of the Sea Witch fell straight into the domain, completely unable to resist the crushing weight. It was as if mountains upon mountains were pressing down on her body. She slamd into the Northern Abyssal Waters, the sound of impact like tal colliding with steel plating.
Crack—Crack—Crack!
Lu Jun’s eyes glinted. He continued amplifying the gravity: 100 tis... 300 tis... 1000 tis!
It was as though the vast sea surface was being squeezed between two invisible demonic claws of heaven—giant palms closing in from the sky, compressing the black ocean into solid refined steel.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of faint but thunderous muffled sounds rang out from within the Northern Dark Domain.
The first to collapse were the myriad sea monsters within several kiloters—whether servants, warriors, or even commanders—all were crushed to paste in an instant.
Their blood was tightly bound by the overwhelming gravitational force, not a single drop escaping to taint the water.
As for the Sea Witch Monarch, she bore the brunt of the devastation. Her enormous skeletal fra creaked and cracked. The algae-like tentacles beneath her exploded one by one, blood spilling down.
Screech! She let out a piercing wail and struggled wildly. Brilliant, multicolored runes flickered across her body, forming a bizarre and srizing pattern—she was preparing to activate her own Monarch Combat Mode.
