Splash—!
The vast plains were completely subrged under water. Everything was enveloped beneath an endless curtain of rain. In the forests, upon the treetops, along rivers and puddles—every corner of the land bore the ravaging marks of the downpour.
Countless muddy streams carried away layers of sludge, carving thousands of ravines into the ruined earth. Then, as if all waters had converged, a vast and heavy black lake was born from the chaos—surging forward with unstoppable force, flooding several kiloters of open wilderness.
Lu Jun stood at the heart of the Northern Underworld Great Lake, surrounded by the Black Jade Dragon Palace. Overhead, black clouds poured torrential rain that cascaded into hundreds of waterfalls. The surface below boiled with thick mist, and nine massive black dragons coiled and danced amid the storm between heaven and earth, radiating awe-inspiring majesty.
Rumble—!
Without pause, Lu Jun continued to manipulate the Star Orbits, unleashing Heavenly Curtain Dive. The expanse of the great lake spread wider and wider, waves towering a hundred ters high, rolling forth with a thunderous roar. The sheer magnitude of its waters was imnse, its texture condensed and profoundly heavy.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Among the many national team mbers attacking him, more than a dozen slightly weaker High-level Mages couldn’t withstand the endless onslaught of the black, steel-like water walls. They were struck hard—bones shattered, bodies flung into the lake below.
Imdiately after, massive whirlpools ford where they fell, unleashing terrifying suction forces that dragged them deep beneath the waters. Thousands of threads of current coiled around their bodies like living tentacles—tempered by the Profound Heavy effect—unyielding as steel whips, impossible to break free from.
Gurgle, gurgle!
The dozen or so trapped mages scread for help, but heaven and earth alike offered no answer. Their nearby comrades were all swept away by the raging flood, unable to rescue them. The severely injured ones quickly suffocated and fell unconscious beneath the deep waters—silently collected and suppressed within the Hell Furnace’s inner space.
Witnessing this scene, Zeller, Ark, and Joshon—all star contestants from their respective teams—looked grim. Yet they had no ti to worry about others. The nine Black Dragons condensed from the Northern Underworld Celestial River ca charging straight at them, each one carrying boundless destructive force, roaring through the storm.
At the sa ti, every raindrop that fell carried the combined might of Extre Yin and Profound Heavy. Under Lu Jun’s spiritual control, they ford a massive web of True Northern Underworld Water that blotted out the heavens, piercing through flesh and eroding blood essence.
This Northern Underworld Great Lake had turned into a domain of pure slaughter—there was no safe haven left, neither on the ground nor in the sky.
The crowd of mages could only retreat step by step in desperation. Yet the tidal surges grew ever fiercer, filling their entire field of vision.
Finally, Ark roared, "All Summoning Mages—call forth your Beast Tide! We need open ground to stand on!"
Buzz—!
In an instant, moon-white brilliance flickered across the Northern Underworld Great Lake. One after another, enormous Gates of the Beast Tide appeared. Each of the fifteen national teams had trained at least one Summoning Mage as their trump card—capable of providing firepower equivalent to half a squad during critical monts.
Now, all of them unleashed their full might.
From each moon-white Gate of the Beast Tide, dozens of Warrior-level beasts surged forth. Nearly twenty summoning mages combined their power, forming an army of over a thousand battle beasts.
Leading the horde were more than a dozen Warrior-level Summoned Beasts—Ark’s Scorpion Demon from the Arican Team, Parker’s White Rock Earth Dragon from the German Team, Zeller’s twin Commander Beasts from the British Team, and others!
ROAR—!
The herd thundered forward—each creature over ten ters tall, standing nearly as high as the frontmost tidal waves. None of the summoners cared for attack speed or agility—these beasts had one defining trait: weight!
At that mont, the plains seed to revert to a primal age. Ancient giant elephants marched side by side, forming a massive square formation. They advanced slowly behind the dozen leading Commander Beasts, resembling a fleet of a thousand ironclad warships breaking through stormy seas.
Their speed was not slow—but their montum was overwhelming!
Within the Black Jade Dragon Palace, Lu Jun stood calmly at the center. Witnessing the confrontation of the beast tide and the vast sea, his eyes glinted—so they’re finally coming.
He had already understood before the battle began—among Water, Curse, and Summoning, the Summoning Elent was the least effective in this fight.
A High-level Beast Tide Summoning spell could indeed unleash hundreds of Warrior-level beasts in a powerful burst of carnage—but could that truly trouble the near hundred top-tier prodigies of the National Teams?
Besides, he too possessed Summoning Magic—but his opponents had even more. Twenty summoners combining their beast tides into one... even his own summoned army would be drowned without leaving a ripple.
"Fortunately," he murmured, "I still have you."
Lu Jun’s voice dropped to a whisper, his gaze turning sharp. He had finally forced out the National Teams’ last trump card—now, it was his turn.
Splash—!
Without him even summoning, the Water Elental Spirit—the rmaid-like Sacred Spirit of Water—erged on her own from the Contract Space, materializing in the outside world. Above her head ford a shimring Water Curtain Cave, from which countless threads of Three-Light Divine Water fell in three colors: deep black, pure white, and radiant brilliance between them.
The mont the Elental Spirit appeared, she rged with him.
Boom!
Lu Jun’s entire body beca enveloped in black, white, and brilliant light. His aura surged upward uncontrollably. With the mid–Commander-level strength added by the Elental Spirit, it was as though he broke through an unseen barrier—his essence, energy, and spirit all ascended to their absolute peak.
From above, one could see the originally black Dragon Palace beginning to change. From its core outward, streaks of black, white, and radiant brilliance spread inch by inch, transforming the entire structure into a magnificent palace of sun, moon, and stars—a truly regal Dragon Palace of Divinity.
"This is... the Transcendent Force – Northern Underworld Qi Sea?"
Lu Jun’s eyes burned bright as torches. Suspended in midair, his flesh turned crystal-clear like jade-glazed glass, radiating translucent brilliance. From his waist on both sides, where the kidneys were located, black light began to bloom, extending downward to the lower abdon—three inches below the navel—where it condensed into a pitch-black miniature sun.
That black Qi Wheel was calm yet profound, dark yet glowing with azure brilliance, filled with the boundless vitality of surging water. Though it seed infinitely small, it was imasurably vast—the body of a man containing within it the entire Northern Underworld Sea, circulating through his being as his core engine of power.
He urged the illusory, dark Qi Sea within, resonating with the outer Dragon Palace, and with a single thought, shouted:
"Shift the Sea—Flood the Land!"
At that mont, Lu Jun drew upon everything he possessed—his High-Tier Fourth-Level Water Magic, his Sixfold Soul Seed of Northern Underworld Heavy Water, the One-and-a-Halffold Water-Repelling Pearl, the enhancent from his Water Elental Spirit, his elevated Spiritual Realm—and most importantly, the over thirtyfold accumulated Tidal Effect.
Through all this, he comprehended in advance the Transcendent Force of the Super-level Water Elent!
Rumble—!
The Transcendent Force moved. In harmony with the Northern Underworld Dragon Palace, it unleashed world-shaking might. The nine black dragons roared and intertwined into one colossal entity. The vast, blackened lake below erupted in radiant brilliance, soaring skyward—shifting across space—before crashing down upon the thousand-beast tide and the dozens of National Team mbers.
"How... how is this possible?!"
Zeller, Ark, Joshon, and the others stared in despair as the shadow of an airborne ocean lood overhead. Their hearts sank—how could human strength ever contend with the will of the sea itself?
The global audience watching the live broadcast was struck silent, overwheld by the sight.
In that frozen instant, the image resembled the climax of an apocalyptic disaster film: oceans rising into the sky, drowning all continents. The so-called superhumans and heroes—all dwarfed beneath the heavens’ boundless waters—stood frozen, pale and trembling, struck dumb by fear and awe.
