Trevor was quite shocked by Caroline’s expression. So days back, if soone had told him that he would get Caroline, he would have thought the person was mocking.

But look—the almighty Caroline was asking him for friendship, and from her expression, he could tell she ant more than just friends.

"Yh, sure, we could be friends," Trevor said, his voice almost shaky as he tried to compose himself, stretching out his hands to hold hers.

Caroline raised her head slightly. Wow, she was so happy; she thought she would be declined.

"Thanks," Caroline said shyly as she dropped her hands on Trevor’s.

They began walking, Trevor holding her hands stiffly but not too stiff.

After a while of silence, Trevor finally spoke as he looked up into the sky.

"We need to increase our pace. It’s getting late, and you know it’s not good to stay out late at night because of the dungeon creatures," Trevor said as they increased their speed.

After walking for another two minutes, Caroline quickly spoke.

"Trevor, I’m ho," she said, releasing her hands from Trevor’s and pointing at the mansion before her.

Trevor stopped, a little embarrassed for not knowing her ho, but he waved it off—after all, he didn’t really know her before today.

Across the street was a really big mansion. It looked to be made with the most expensive materials in the country.

Trevor was shocked. Wow, she’s a low-key millionaire’s daughter. Chloe has a lot to learn, Trevor thought with a smile.

"Trevor," Caroline called from the entrance of her door, snapping him out of his daze.

Caroline was leaning on the fra of the door, already inside the house but just leaning out.

"Well, you could co visit anyti," Caroline said shyly.

Trevor nodded as he waved goodbye. She waved back and headed slowly back into the house.

Trevor began heading ho. His house wasn’t far away, but he knew better than to not hurry up today.

On getting ho, Trevor slid the door open. As usual, his mom was inside. She barely moved around too much, which ca with much pain, and she couldn’t talk much either.

She just sat down each day, eating bread and water, waiting for her essence to finally chip away.

Trevor felt a pang of sadness within him. He couldn’t help but feel that despite all this, she had still geared up, ready to fight, when he did not co back ho early yesterday night.

"mum I’m ho," Trevor said as he strolled into her room right from the door.

"Honey, how has your day been?" she asked as she got off from her bed—not slowly, but the pain showed it took effort.

Trevor hated seeing his mom like this. He needed to take action.

"Yh, school was fine. How have you been feeling?" Trevor asked, his voice cold and bitter .

"Trevor, you don’t have to always feel bad. I’ve told you already, this is just a phase in life—we will definitely pass it over," she said, as tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to fall.

Trevor couldn’t take it anymore as he dropped to his knees and hugged her at the edge of the bed where she sat.

his head resting on her chest.

Mia began patting his head gently as she held back the fluid that threatened to drop from her eyes.

Trevor was lost for words. All he could do was hug her tighter, but then, all of a sudden, he got a bizarre idea.

He rembered clearly when his system was first awakened; it said that his seed was able to release essence.

In actual sense, it could make one stronger.

Trevor had a thought to himself—although bizarre, it could save his mom’s life or, if not, at least give her more ti and ease her pain.

Trevor stepped out of her embrace as he moved back.

"Trevor is anything wrong?" she asked, looking at him with a worried and confused expression.

Trevor unlocked his Eyes of Hades on mia.

Although he had never done this before, he never thought his mom was so sexy—her breast hung out of the top of her blue gown looking soft and succulent.

Scanning through with the Eyes of Hades, Trevor was in shock. His mom was by far the most horny woman he had seen today.

The red heat marks, which showed intensity, dominated most of her body.

[Mia cravings get her son a better life]

Trevor’s eyes watered. Despite how horny she was, he was still her priority.

Trevor’s dad was part of the Aviator, the group of dungeon explorers who had terrorized the governnt’s corrupt dungeon acts for years.

Together with Mia, they were unstoppable. During their ti, the nights were safer, and the governnt’s intense magic barrier covering high-yield dungeons was easily broken, and the treasure was shared with the poor.

Tragically, the Aviators fell, and his dad—Mias husband—also passed on that very night.

Mia hasn’t seen another man since then. It’s been three years now. No wonder she was so horny, Trevor thought silently.

"Trevor is there any problem?" she asked cautiously, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Trevor began looking at his mom, calculating his moves. He couldn’t afford to go slowly like he had done with Caroline; it would only give her ti to let her conscience kick in.

"There isn’t any problem, mom. I’m okay. I just rembered sothing," Trevor said as he moved to the bed, sitting beside her.

But once he sat down beside her, reality sank in.

He couldn’t just do it. This was his mom he was looking at—he couldn’t bring himself to go through with it, Trevor thought she had gone through a lot for him already.

"Don’t worry. I promise all this will be over soon, and when it is, I’ll compensate you for going through all this," she said, holding his hands gently.

Trevor nodded slightly, then stood up and moved toward the door.

"Trevor, please... are you going for the night shift at the bread factory? I could call her to co pick you up," Mia said, ashad. Even the small crumbs they ate ca from Trevor—she had beco a liability to him.

There was a small silence between them as Trevor stood facing the door.

"Emm... I’m so sorry, it’s because we’re running out of bread. Emm... don’t worry, I would—" Mia kept rushing her words, stamring in between, guilty for letting him carry the workload despite still attending school.

"Mom, it’s alright. No one is eating bread anymore," Trevor cut her short with a smile, turning around.

"But—" Mia wanted to speak but got cut off by her son.

"No buts. Starting from tomorrow, you’ll be taking three square als. Not just bread and water, but a balanced diet,"

With a final reassuring smile, he unlocked the door and stepped out, leaving Mia staring after him, her chest aching with both love and sorrow.
