He leaned in and kissed her. His hand left her cheek and began to wander, slowly sliding under her dress. He pushed aside the thin fabric, his fingertips caressing her.
Jiang Yunnuan frowned, quickly grabbing his wrist.
"Didn’t we agree you’d have so self-control? Why are you starting again? Not today. I need to rest."
"Rest? Why? Are you still not feeling well? But I can feel that it’s not swollen anymore. That shows how effective the Innate Spirit Water is."

Her face instantly flushed crimson. She tried to push him away and escape, but he suddenly pinned her by the waist... Her body went limp, and she couldn’t help but sag against his chest as her eyes grew misty.
"Ngh... is this the only thing on your mind?"
"How could that be?"
He laughed and said nonchalantly, "If I were really like that, do you think you’d have even made it downstairs today? Besides, I’ve been with you for a year and only got my first taste last night. Don’t you think that’s patient enough?"

They had just reached the stairs when a dull, throbbing pain shot through her.
She frowned and sucked in a sharp breath, then bit down hard on his chin in anger...

It was already late to begin with. By the ti they finished, the world outside was pitch-black, and nothing could be seen.
Exhausted and sleepy, Jiang Yunnuan couldn’t be bothered to think about anything else. She simply grabbed the blanket and fell fast asleep.
Watching the woman sleeping soundly, Fu Yuan gave her a deeply plaintive look. A mont later, he sighed in resignation and headed to the bathroom to take care of himself.
After a long while, he still couldn’t get in the mood. He gave up in frustration, took a sterilized towel from the rack, rinsed it with water, and returned to the room. He gently began to clean Jiang Yunnuan.
