Gunfire erupted, echoing down the streets as the Blood Hunters overwheld the police. The officers, though well-trained, weren't equipped for a full-scale firefight. Within minutes, their cruisers were riddled with bullets, and the officers were forced to retreat behind their cars for cover. The Blood Hunters pressed their advantage, moving with brutal efficiency, their coordinated attacks making short work of the police resistance.
Sofia Delgado fired a few rounds, her sharp eyes scanning for any sign of Wang Jian. "We need to find him! Spread out and search the area! He couldn't have gone far."
But while the Blood Hunters stomped over the outnumbered police, Wang Jian was already several steps ahead. He had known this would happen, anticipated their movents like a ga of chess. The mont the first shot rang out, he had slipped away, leading Emma and Jessica through the narrow alleyways of the city.

Wang Jian, ever calm, scanned the area before responding. "We're clear for now. But we can't stay here long." His eyes darted around the alley, checking every shadow for any sign of movent. He could almost feel the Blood Hunters breathing down their necks, even though he knew they had successfully evaded them-at least for now.
Seeing how exhausted both Emma and Jessica were, Wang Jian decided it was ti for a brief break. He found a small nook behind an old brick building, hidden from plain sight by a stack of wooden pallets. Pulling them gently towards him, he positioned them so they were out of view from any casual passerby.
As soon as they were safely hidden, Wang Jian wrapped his arms around both won, pulling them close to his chest. Back with the Blood Hunters, frustration was mounting. Luis, standing amid the wreckage of the police cruisers, wiped the sweat from his brow. "Where the hell is he?!" he barked, turning towards Sofia, who was scanning the area with a pair of binoculars.
Sofia shook her head. "He's smart. He wouldn't have stayed near the police. My guess is he's already moved deeper into the city."
Javier, ever the pragmatist, frowned. "He's playing us. He knows how we think. We're searching the obvious spots, and he's probably already holed up sowhere we'd never think to look."
Luis growled in frustration, slamming the butt of his rifle against the ground. "Spread out! He can't hide forever!"
The gang moved out in small teams, sweeping the surrounding alleys and streets, but Wang Jian had already anticipated their every move. While the Blood Hunters scoured the area, he remained hidden with Emma and Jessica, holding them close as they caught their breath.
Eventually, once they had rested enough, Wang Jian decided it was ti to move again. He released his hold on Emma and Jessica, giving them a mont to steady themselves before he led them out of the alley.
"Stay close," he said quietly, his eyes scanning the area as they slipped through the shadows.
Emma and Jessica followed him, still slightly shaken but trusting his instincts. They could feel the tension in the air, but Wang Jian's calm and composed deanor reassured them. He had gotten them this far, and they believed he would get them out of this alive.
As they moved deeper into the city, Wang Jian's mind was already working on their next steps. He needed to stay ahead of the Blood Hunters, but more importantly, he needed to get Emma and Jessica to safety. Every decision he made now was critical, and with the Blood Hunters hot on their tail, there was no room for error.
But Wang Jian wasn't just surviving-he was thriving in this chaos. His experiences in the other world had changed him, sharpened him, and now, he was more than a match for anyone who dared to co after him.
The Blood Hunters were in for a rude awakening.
