A Stubborn Disciple Finally Lowers Her Head

Sitting on the ground, she silently cried for two minutes, wiped her tears, and was just about to stand up.

The afternoon sunlight slanted through the training courtyard, painting long shadows across the floor.

The broken remains of the sandbag still lay scattered around her.

Her right arm throbbed relentlessly.

Every slight movent sent a sharp ache through the fractured bones.

Yet compared to the pain in her arm, Yana Tyson found the strange frustration in her heart even harder to endure.

She didn’t understand why she felt this way.

Julian had only left.

So why did she feel as if sothing important had been taken away?

Yana quickly shook her head.

"Nonsense."

She muttered to herself.

That bastard leaving was a good thing.

Much quieter.

Much more peaceful.

Just as she was about to stand up—

A shadowy figure suddenly appeared at the doorway.

The person moved with exaggerated stealth.

Sneaking.

Peeking.

Almost like a thief.

Yana instinctively looked up.

Then imdiately froze.

Standing at the door was Julian D’Aurelius.

His black hair fluttered lightly in the breeze.

A dical kit hung from one hand.

A familiar mischievous grin sat on his handso face.

His golden eyes curved slightly as he looked at her.

The mont Yana saw him, her heartbeat inexplicably sped up.

Then she imdiately beca angry again.

"What are you doing here?"

Seeing it was Julian, she angrily asked with red eyes.

Julian pointed at the dical kit.

"Seeing you’re sick, I’m here to treat you."

He chuckled as he jogged inside.

The expression on his face was annoyingly relaxed.

As if he hadn’t been the reason she cried a few minutes ago.

Yana turned her face away.

"I don’t want your treatnt, get lost."

She gritted her teeth.

Julian ignored her words entirely.

"That’s not going to work."

He casually sat beside her.

"If I don’t treat you, others might say I’m incompetent, teaching a disciple only to have her arm broken."

Yana’s eye twitched.

Disciple again.

Always disciple.

Always Master.

This man truly knew how to make people angry.

Julian placed the dical kit on the ground and opened it.

Inside were nurous bottles, bandages, ointnts, and dical supplies.

Due to running a martial arts school, injuries during training were common.

Broken bones.

Sprains.

Torn muscles.

All happened regularly.

Therefore the dical kit was fully stocked.

Including the plaster bandages he currently needed.

Yana secretly glanced at him.

Although she kept acting angry, she noticed how serious he suddenly looked.

His movents were careful.

Focused.

Professional.

That annoying grin disappeared.

Replacing it was genuine concentration.

"I’ll set your bone first, then fix it with a plaster bandage."

Julian said as he grabbed Yana’s already broken arm.

His fingers were surprisingly gentle.

Yana imdiately tried pulling away.

Unfortunately.

Her condition made resistance impossible.

"It might hurt a bit."

Julian warned.

"Bear with it."

"I said I don’t need your help."

Yana bit her lip.

But before she could finish speaking—

Crack!

A sharp pain exploded through her arm.

"Mm!"

Her body trembled violently.

Her eyes widened.

For a brief mont, darkness almost covered her vision.

She instinctively wanted to scream.

But sohow forced herself to endure it.

Her teeth dug into her lower lip.

The pain was enough to make cold sweat instantly cover her forehead.

Yet not a single cry escaped her mouth.

She stubbornly endured everything.

Julian’s eyebrows rose slightly.

A look of genuine surprise appeared.

Then Yana heard the familiar voice inside her head.

[Damn, impressive, she didn’t even cry out.]

Her lips twitched.

Despite the pain.

Despite everything.

She still listened.

[Damn, girl, you’re tougher than I expected.]

[Most people would be screaming by now, but she actually endured it.]

[No wonder she’s the pride of the Tyson Family.]

[The more I look at her, the more interesting she becos.]

[Actually, I respect stubborn people. Strong people too.]

[Especially strong won.]

[Beautiful? Plenty. Talented? Plenty and impossible to reason with. But a woman who can punch soone through a wall and still argue afterward? That’s rare.]

"..."

[Very rare.]

"..."

[Honestly, the stronger the girl, the more interesting she is.]

[Though with that temper, winning her over is probably going to be a headache.]

[Then again, if she were easy, she wouldn’t be Yana Tyson.]

[Though now that I think about it, if she this terrifying during a fight and normal, how fierce are you during sex?]

The corner of Yana’s eye twitched again.

A mont ago she was slightly touched.

Now she wanted to hit him.

His type?

Who was his type?

This idiot.

Yana’s face heated up despite herself.

A second ago, she had been trying to endure the pain in her arm.

Now she was fighting the urge to throw the dical kit at his head.

Julian continued examining her injury with a serious expression, completely unaware of the chaos his thoughts were causing.

Yana clenched her jaw.

"Why are you staring?"

"Hm?" Julian looked up. "I’m checking your arm."

"Then check properly."

"I am checking properly."

"Your face looks suspicious."

Julian laughed.

"Young Lady Tyson, you’re imagining things."

Yana almost choked.

Imagining things?

If only he knew what she had just heard.

The worst part was that he looked completely innocent.

That infuriating grin made her want to kick him.

For so reason, though, the frustration in her chest had beco noticeably lighter than before.

Julian finished setting the bone and examined the injury again.

Satisfied, he nodded.

anwhile Yana stared directly at him.

Her orange eyes practically burned with annoyance.

"..."

Then she finally couldn’t endure it anymore.

"I told you I don’t need your help."

Her voice was cold.

"Why are you ddling?"

Julian chuckled.

The expression on his face practically scread innocence.

"If you don’t want my help, then just move your arm yourself, right?"

Yana nearly choked.

This shaless bastard.

How could she move it?

It was broken!

Julian ignored her murderous glare.

He carefully wrapped the arm with plaster bandages.

Layer after layer.

His fingers moved steadily.

Ensuring the fractured bones remained secure.

After several minutes, he finally finished.

The white bandages covered her arm completely.

He leaned back and examined his work.

Not bad.

Professional quality.

"Normally, your arm should recover in about a month, so you need to rest peacefully."

"A month?"

Yana was dumbfounded.

Her beautiful eyes widened.

One month?

For ordinary people that wasn’t much.

For her?

It was unbearable.

Martial arts was practically her entire life.

Training every day had beco instinct.

Not practicing for a month?

That was worse than being imprisoned.

Her face imdiately darkened.

"No."

She shook her head.

"A month is too long."

Julian nodded calmly.

"Of course it’s long."

"That’s why I said normally."

Yana imdiately caught the keyword.

Her eyes brightened slightly.

"Normally?"

She looked at Julian.

"Is there a better treatnt?"

Julian secretly smiled.

The fish had finally taken the bait.

"There is."

He nodded.

"You could recover in a few days."

Yana’s breathing paused.

A few days?

Her eyes imdiately lit up.

That was completely different.

However—

Knowing Julian.

Nothing ca for free.

Sure enough.

Julian rubbed his chin.

Looking extrely thoughtful.

"But making the ointnt is troubleso."

He sighed dramatically.

"Very troubleso."

"Extrely troubleso."

Yana narrowed her eyes.

Here it cos.

Julian continued.

"If you sincerely call Master..."

His grin slowly returned.

"...I’ll sacrifice my precious ti to make it for my disciple."

Silence.

The entire training room beca silent.

Yana’s face darkened instantly.

Master.

Again.

Master!

This man truly wouldn’t let it go.

Her fingers tightened.

Then loosened.

Then tightened again.

Inside her heart, a fierce battle began.

One side scread.

Absolutely not.

Never.

No way.

The other side reminded her.

A few days.

Instead of one month.

And she truly wanted to continue practicing martial arts.

Especially after today’s breakthrough.

She had finally touched the threshold of the Mastery Stage.

Stopping now would drive her crazy.

Julian watched quietly.

His smile widened.

He knew exactly what she was thinking.

Well.

Not exactly.

Since he couldn’t actually read minds.

But her expression was practically announcing the battle happening inside her head.

Several minutes passed.

Yana’s face alternated between red and black.

Julian almost laughed.

Finally.

The battle ended.

Yana lowered her head slightly.

Her cheeks burned.

Her ears were red.

Even her neck was slightly pink.

For soone as proud as her, this was harder than fighting a life-and-death battle.

After struggling internally for a long ti, she finally squeezed out two words through gritted teeth:

"Superior..."
