The leader of the Night Fragrance Pavilion finally moved.

The mont he stepped forward, the pressure in the courtyard changed completely.

A dark-purple aura erupted from his body, spreading across the broken ground like thick mist.

Damian’s eyes narrowed slightly.

The Qi coming from this man was far stronger than the others.

"Ninth Stage Foundation Establishnt Realm..." Damian muttered.

The leader grinned when he saw Damian’s expression. "What? Finally scared?"

Damian clicked his tongue. "Scared? Not really."

He tightened his grip on his sword as fla and thunder flickered around the blade. "Just annoyed."

The leader sneered. "You killed my people, destroyed my plan, and still dare act arrogant in front of . Damian, you really don’t know how deep the water is."

Damian exhaled slowly.

His Qi was being consud too quickly.

If this dragged on, more enemies might arrive, and Violetta and Vulkara might not be able to escape far enough. "Damn it... I need to finish this fast."

The leader seed to notice his thought and laughed coldly. "Trying to end this quickly? Do you think I’ll let you?"

He suddenly rushed forward.

His speed was several tis faster than the others.

In just one breath, he appeared in front of Damian and struck out with his palm.

Dark-purple Qi condensed into a poisonous palm print.

Damian’s expression changed slightly.

[Thunder Flash Steps]

He vanished from the spot, but the palm print still grazed past his shoulder.

BOOM!

The ground behind him exploded, and a sharp burning pain spread through his arm.

Damian glanced at his sleeve and saw the fabric slowly corroding. "Poison Qi, huh?"

The leader smiled cruelly. "Now you understand?"

Several other Night Fragrance Pavilion cultivators also attacked again, trying to trap Damian from all directions.

Damian’s eyes turned cold. "Fine."

He suddenly stopped dodging.

Fla and thunder Qi surged through his body, but this ti, it did not gather around his sword.

Instead, it rushed toward his throat.

The leader’s expression changed slightly. "What are you doing?"

Damian opened his mouth.

[Lion Roar]

ROOOOAAARRR!

A terrifying roar exploded through the courtyard.

The sound wave carried thunderous vibration and burning pressure, blasting outward in every direction.

The surrounding cultivators were instantly thrown backward.

Several weaker ones spat blood as their ears ruptured and their eyes turned bloodshot.

Even the leader was forced to retreat several steps, his dark-purple aura trembling violently.

The entire courtyard shook.

Damian lowered his head slightly and exhaled, blood slipping faintly from the corner of his mouth.

Using [Lion Roar] with Fla and Thunder Qi had been powerful, but the backlash was not light either.

Still, it had worked.

The leader stared at Damian with an ugly expression. "You..."

Then his eyes suddenly beca vicious.

He took out a black token from his sleeve.

Damian’s eyes narrowed. "Oh hell no."

The leader crushed the token without hesitation.

CRACK!

A dark light shot into the sky.

The leader grinned coldly. "You are dead now, Damian."

Damian’s expression instantly darkened. "You bastard... how can you just call backup like that?"

The leader laughed coldly while wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. "What? Did you think this was so honorable duel?"

Damian clicked his tongue. "Damn, you people really have no sha."

Before the leader could answer, the dark light in the sky suddenly twisted.

The air above the courtyard trembled violently, and a terrifying pressure descended like a mountain falling from the heavens.

BOOOOM!

The entire courtyard sank slightly.

The cracked walls shook, roof tiles shattered, and the remaining Night Fragrance Pavilion cultivators imdiately lowered their heads with pale faces.

Damian’s body stiffened.

His smile disappeared completely as he felt the aura pressing down on him.

"Goddamn it..." Damian muttered through clenched teeth. "Golden Core cultivator."

A figure slowly appeared above the courtyard.

It was an old man wearing a deep-black robe with purple patterns embroidered along the sleeves. His face was thin, his eyes were sharp, and his aura carried a cold, poisonous feeling.

He looked down at the leader with an unhappy expression. "You used the ergency token for this?"

The leader quickly bowed, his previous arrogance disappearing instantly. "Elder, this subordinate had no choice."

The old man’s eyes narrowed. "No choice?"

The leader imdiately pointed at Damian. "That man has a treasure!"

Damian’s eyes twitched. "Here we go again."

The leader continued quickly, afraid the elder would get angry. "He was once a useless rogue cultivator, but recently, his strength suddenly grew rapidly. He also possesses countless Top-Rank Profound Grade pills, and most importantly..."

His eyes beca greedy again. "His Qi has mutated into fla and thunder!"

The old man’s bored expression finally changed slightly.

His gaze slowly moved toward Damian, and the mont he sensed the fla and thunder Qi flickering around Damian’s sword, his eyes narrowed. "Mutated dual-elent Qi?"

The leader hurriedly nodded. "Yes, Elder. That is why I believe he must possess a great treasure that changed his fate."

Damian cursed inwardly. "Damn it. This bastard really knows how to sell a story."

Without wasting ti, Damian took out another Top-Rank Profound Grade Blood Qi Recovery Pill and swallowed it.

dicinal power surged through his body, trying to repair his injuries and restore his blood.

Then he took out another pill and swallowed that too.

The old man watched him calmly, not stopping him imdiately, as if Damian’s struggle was only amusing. "Interesting. You really do have many good pills."

Damian’s heart sank slightly because the old man was just too calm.

He could also feel it clearly. Even if he recovered his Qi and blood, fighting this old man head-on would still be insanely difficult.

No, maybe even impossible.

The gap between Foundation Establishnt and Golden Core was not sothing ordinary tricks could easily cross.

The elder slowly raised one hand.

Dark-purple Qi gathered above his palm, forming a poisonous mist that made the air hiss. "Hand over your storage ring, and I may leave your corpse intact."

Damian stared at him for a mont.

Then, suddenly, he laughed coldly.

The elder frowned. "What are you laughing at?"

Damian slowly reached into his storage ring and took out a silver-white token.

The mont the token appeared, faint sword intent spread through the courtyard.

Damian grinned despite the blood at the corner of his lips. "You think you’re the only one who can call people like that?"

The elder’s eyes changed slightly.

Damian tightened his grip around the token. "I can too."

CRACK!

He crushed the Heavenly Sword Sect Core Disciple Token.

In the next instant, a sharp silver light shot into the sky.
